Dark Belgian (callefour) chocolate and strawberry
    Wade C.

This is such a delightful place and well worth a stop in for some really excellent crepes. The three standouts are the perfect crepe texture, the caramel that was flavorful and not overly sweet, and they use callefour Belgian chocolate. Expect slightly slower service, when we went, one guy was doing everything (orders, drinks ,cooking). Don't skip this spot if you're visiting Hershey, it's a gem!

Crepes were great and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not a big place, there are a few parking spots right in front of the building which is tucked away from the street a little bit. If the mini parking lot is full in front, there are plenty of street parking options around. The owner has two crepe stations set up, but it still takes a while to make each one, so put in your orders early and he can start the orders as they come in. There are plenty of options, both sweet and savory and they were all excellent.

Amazing Crepes, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. Definitely would recommend, especially the Nutella and strawberries crepe, the strawberry jam crepe or one of the breakfast crepes.

Was visiting the Hershey Story museum across the street and was looking for a snack! Luckily ran into this gem. Set back from the street, this quaint little creperie will surprise you! The owner was so kind and friendly. The restaurant itself is homey and cozy and the savory and dessert crepe options were extensive! I opted for savory today and tried the number 17 because...November/thanksgiving vibes- and it didn't disappoint. The cranberry sauce was perfect pairing with the Turkey. Owner also made us fresh brewed coffee which was also great. I'm coming back just to check out the dessert side of things! Check it out- this would be a cute date night, meet up anytime spot!

A delightful, cozy crepe spot. I ordered the Belgian dark chocolate crepe with strawberries, made fresh right in front of us, absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly hospitable and friendly. We didn't realize we had come in after hours, yet he still welcomed us, sat us down, prepared our food, and even offered us coffee. When I tried to pay, he refused and explained that since it was after hours, he simply wanted us to experience and enjoy his food. You truly don't come across many business owners like that. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, and may God bless you and your business.

This is not the place to go if you're in a hurry. There are about 8 tables and one guy (presumably the owner) doing all the work. He said that his helper had no-showed that morning, and it was clear that he was frazzled. That being said, our crepes were fantastic and worth waiting for. The crepes are made from scratch, we watched him make the batter himself. Once the crowd died down, he threw in a free dessert crepe to thank us for our patience. He also let us sneak a taste of his wife's homemade caramel sauce. Overall, a great experience.

    I had the Sp#1 -- delicious!

The food, the service and the ambiance were all first rate! You can actually watch the crêpe master at work. As a special treat, he even gave us a bonus lemon crêpe. It was amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. I wish we lived closer. If we did, they would get to know us by name!

Au Bon Lieu is one of, if not the best, creperie I've been to in the US. It's in a small and unassuming building with seating for maybe 20-25 total, and the preparation of the crepes happens behind a plexiglass screen effectively right in front of you. The owner impressively cooks up three crepes at a time and I didn't see him take a pause nearly the entire time we were there. The menu is extensive, with both sweet and savory options, and they were quick to customize for any request we had. The kindness they showed us by giving a toddler in our group a free crepe, and spoons of melted chocolate and caramel, just made everyone's day. The homemade caramel is amazing, and each sweet and savory crepe we tried was worth getting again. Like any other crepe restaurants, there were tons of vegetarian options. We tried the 4, 30, 41, 43, 402, 701 and others. All wonderful. Can't wait until our next trip back.

This is a fantastic gem! They serve a wide variety of savory & sweet crepes. I have never had a crepe that taste this GOOD!! It was evenly cooked & not too thick & not too thin. This is the ultimate crepe. No others can hold a torch to theirs. YES. It's that AMAZING!! It's an intimate setting & the crepes are created with special care & superior skill. All the flavors tasted natural. He was kind to make a lemon crepe for us to sample. That was enjoyable as well. I don't think one could go wrong with any of the choices offered. When in Hershey, don't sleep on this delightful option. Tip: parking lot has limited spots & small , maybe 12 spots tops! It's off chocolate avenue, diagonal from the Starbucks. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! It's nice to try a place & have zero regrets.

The AC unit next to our table. Filthy!!

This morning was my first (and last) visit to this establishment. The gentleman making the crepes was not wearing gloves. He was adding ingredients and filing the crepes with his bare hands. I thought it was a regulation in PA that gloves must be worn. The AC unit hanging on the wall by our table was filthy and/or contained black mold. I have added a photo to this review. I never review places but I feel people should be informed before eating the food at this place.

Food was good but you will leave hungry unless you order more than one. It's paper plates and plastic ware. Drinks where can and bottles and self serve. Service was friendly but it's a one man operation so if it's busy it takes a minute. Ambiance is lacking. Parking lot is small. But overall it was good change from same things all the time.

Delicious crepes! It's been a week and I can still remember how the crepes were so buttery and flavorful. We didn't want a heavy lunch after visiting the Hershey Museum and thankfully this place was across the street. Authentic food in a comfortable mom and pop place with excellent service. We recommend you give it a try!

I am now ruined forever for crepes! How the chef cooks the crepes so PERFECTLY, I will never know! This is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away near the Hershey Story museum on the other side of Starbucks. Cute, French themed, small and intimate. I ordered the #9 with French Brie, Salmon, capers, egg, avocado and Tomatoes. Then followed by a simple milk chocolate with fresh strawberries. Just the simple ingredients coupled with a perfectly cooked crepe will blow your mind. The chef is very friendly and will make recommendations on your order. Take his advise! If there is a wait, then wait. It will be well worth the wait.

Are all crepes made of buckwheat?

I know that not all are buckwheat, most are regular. I don't recall if they have buckwheat. I think so.

We actually ended up grabbing one of the last tables in the place. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. It's warm, cozy, and full of energy. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. One of the crêpes we got was the Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake, which was sweet, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't overly sugary but definitely dessert worthy. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delicious!! Our specialty coffees for the month were also excellent. They had a fun Valentine's themed lineup, and both drinks were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I got the Not Your Sweetheart Latte and Ryan got the Chocolate Heartbreak Cold brew. If you go, one thing you absolutely have to try are their chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They have Rice Krispies in them so they're crunchy inside, and they're ridiculously good. Yes, it's a local coffee shop, so prices are a little higher than a diner, but honestly it's no worse than Starbucks and the quality, atmosphere, and uniqueness are miles better. They also have multiple locations, but the Lebanon shop has a great vibe and is clearly loved by the community.

The moment you walk in, it honestly feels like you've stepped into a little café in Paris. The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with elegant touches everywhere that make the space feel cozy but elevated at the same time. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The seating is mostly table seating (no booths), with a few smaller tables set along a hallway-style walkway that opens up into a larger dining area. The way the space is laid out feels intentional and well designed even though the restaurant was getting a lot of attention while I was there, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. Everything flowed nicely. It's colder right now, so their front deck seating wasn't open, but you can tell that when the weather warms up there's additional seating available outside on the deck, which would be such a nice spot to sit. The bathrooms are conveniently located right up front, which makes them easy to find. Parking is also pretty simple, there's parking available in the back of the building, and if those spots are full you can usually find street parking nearby. Here's what I ordered: Pistachio Rose Affogato * Pistachio Italian espresso * Vanilla ice cream * Crushed pistachio * Edible rose petals * Wafer East Coast Croissant * Cheddar cheese * Bacon * Spinach * Scrambled eggs * House-made garlic aioli * Served with breakfast potatoes My drink didn't just look beautiful , it tasted incredible too. The pistachio espresso paired with the vanilla ice cream was already amazing, but the crushed pistachios and edible rose petals really took it to another level. It was sweet, rich, and full of flavor. The East Coast Croissant surprised me in the best way. I'm usually not a big spinach-on-sandwich person, but I wanted to try it exactly as it's served to get the full experience. I'm glad I did because it completely changed my mind! Everything worked together perfectly, and the garlic aioli added so much flavor. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back. Next on my list to try is their Tiramisu French Toast and the Strawberry Matcha.
