The service was quick and very efficient. Overall, the dining area of the restaurant is spacious, clean neat. There is also outdoor dining undercover on picnic tables and round raised pedestal tables and chairs. No indoor restrooms. Restrooms are out in the back more or less where you'd find one on a 1950s - 60s gas station. The men's restroom was pretty old and tired, but clean. I would go back anytime for another patty melt and I was also intrigued that they offer a crab cake special on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Would not recommend the cheeseburger. The bill was $39.80, including tax and gratuity.

The only reason I'm knocking one star off, however, is because, upon paying with a credit card, they require you to add a tip with the card (you cannot bypass this and pay the tip with cash, that's unfortunately a byproduct of the service they use for processing card payments), and the tipping percentage starts at 22% and goes up from there. Kind of ridiculous, if you ask me. I'll need to remember to bring cash next time... because there will definitely be a next time. The decor was interesting, lots of funny songs to read, the meal took a few minutes to arrive and without sounding cruel I was completely underwhelmed....the burgers were small....real small for $12-13 a piece not including fries or any sides. They tasted fine - I guess but would have taken two to fill me up. Bill for three was over $50 and I kicked myself for not just staying on the highway and hitting a gas station. The place itself was fine, clean, organized just completely overpriced. Live and learn - would not recommend or return.
