LOVE Mimi's ice cream shop. The flavors are so unique and delicious and all freshly made too. Mimi herself is such a kind associate and she is always bustling with customers none stop. The place is a cute quaint setting in Mosaic and is the perfect spot to hang out with friends and loved ones as you try all the flavors. She is truly patient and kind and I love her coffee Oreo ice cream as it's the perfect caffeine boost!

My favorite ice shop in Nova! I enjoyed it so much with my daughter that I went back the next day with my son! Delicious ice cream with 20+ flavors with some unique seasonal (Black Sesame, Ube, Italian Ricotta, Horchata), and boozy adult flavors (Bailey's, Tiramisu, Eggnog, Kahlua). The creamy Bailey's flavor and Tiramisu had a nice boozy kick to it. As it's so hard to land on a flavor, I generally get a split scoop and the flavors pair really well together. The staff is so nice and generous, particularly Ms. Mimi and kindly let me sample more than a few flavors! She was very sweet to my kids and gave them cute panda stickers! The Choco Heaven is truly heavenly and decadent with dark chocolate hazelnut.and tastes like Nutella. The Dirty Brownie has chunks of fudge gooey brownies and another rich flavor. While the Choco Heaven and Dirty Brownies are very rich, bold flavors, they overpower other flavors. The Coffee Oreo and Tiramisu were a bit in the background and a bit muted. The Coffee Oreo tastes like an Oreo Ffappuccino and the Oreos soften the bitterness. The Matcha and Super Oreo were divine and paired really well together in a split scoop (2 flavors in a single scoop). It's pretty rare to get split scoop now-a-days. The Super Oreo definitely delivered with Oreo cookies in every bite and the Matcha balanced out the sweetness and gave the flavor more depth. The blue Cookie Monster was delicious with chunks of cookies in every bite. Both my kids and I really enjoyed it so much that we went back for another scoop! Excited to come back to try the next line-up of flavors!

Many unique ice cream flavors! Love that they cater to many Asian palettes such as hojicha, Thai tea, ube, etc! Finally got to try the hojicha this time and I'm in love. It's just the perfect amount of hojicha where you can still taste the tea mixed with a nice creamy texture. Ms. Mimi served us and she is literally the sweetest little lady! Such a great smile and hospitable personality. :)

A good late night spot for ice cream LOL I was genuinely surprised by their flavor selection! Along with the classics, they also had lots of asian-inspired flavors, like Ube, Hojicha, Kalamansi, Japanese Melon, Lychee, etc, and they're actually good, not artificial tasting. The guy that helped us recommended their coffee oreo, which we ended up getting, and IT WAS YUMMY! Coffee flavor wasn't too overpowering and worked well with the oreo!

Cute ice cream shop nestled in Mosaic. We came in to escape the heat. There were some flavors that they were already sold out of. The did let us try a couple of flavors. A couple of friends and I ended up sharing a flight of mini scoops ($18.99), which is good way to try different flavors at about $20. The flavors we landed on were orange blossom, lemon sorbet, strawberry, cookie monster, mango ice cream. Out of our flight, I actually surprisingly enjoyed the lemon sorbet the most. The cookie monster was my second favorite but I enjoy nuts because I can be a little nutty. Seating is limited, but they do have a cute little spot for kids to draw or for adults to practice sitting in tiny chairs and the table doubles as a bench.

Decided to stroll around Mosaic and came across Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream. It's located near the backside next to Falafel Inc - not in the most obvious spot but it's in a walkable area. The owner was working when we arrived. She was very welcoming and offered us to taste the flavors. When entering, there's a chalkboard with all the flavors listed - I was surprised at the uniqueness of the flavors. I couldn't decide on which flavor to choose, so I decided to go with guava. Surprisingly, it definitely tasted just like guava and my son relished every bite. If I'm in Mosaic, I would definitely try some of the other flavors. A few things I noticed: there was an off-putting odor upon entering, seating is very limited, and the spoons were confusing. There was an aluminum bucket filled with sample size spoons - I initially thought it was for discarded tasting spoons, but it turns out those were utensils provided for eating. I also didn't notice any napkins available.

Such a unique variety and diversity of flavors (lots of Filipino favorites!) that you don't often see at other creameries. It was a bit busy and crowded, but the line went by pretty quickly at least. Not really any indoor seating since it was busy, so we had to sit across the road. The interior was too cute, and the presentation of flavors was great.

The ice cream at Mimi's is so so delicious! The flavors are so unique and flavorful. I love that every single flavor you could really taste and did not taste artificial whatsoever. I will definitely be back to Mimi's and am so happy it's in Mosaic!

Mimi (if that is her name) is the sweetest little lady, the shop is nice and quaint. The ice cream is very good and well made. There were any options to choose from and we were allowed to try as many flavors we wanted. Will be coming back to Mimi's to see her and eat her amazing ice cream.

Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream has got to be one of my top favorite ice cream shops. My fiancé and I wanted to go out for some dessert on Sunday night - we had originally wanted Sweet Berry but didnt realize it closes at 8pm on Sundays.. Luckily we came found Mimi's Ice Cream through a google search and decided to check it out. The shop is super cute and located next to Falafel and across from Paputella. They've got over 30 flavors to choose from, so I'm sure you'll find something that interests you. I had a combo of Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Heaven, and it was sooo creamy and decadent! I also tried the Ube flavor, and it was packed with yummy ube goodness. My fiancé went for the Thai Tea scoop and loved it! The serving portion was pretty big (in my opinion); I didn't finish it and left mine in the freezer to finish later. My niece found it and ending up eating it all - she just wanted a bite but said it was so good that she had to finish it.. Total was about $12 for three scoops, which is a total steal. I can't wait to go back - I literally have been thinking about it ever since.

Ice cream is yummy, service is super friendly, and we were offered free scoops for moms on Mother's Day. Will be back!

FOOD We ordered the durian and ube ice creams, and both were exceptional. The durian was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, with a rich creaminess that really allowed the bold durian flavor to shine. The high durian-to-cream ratio made every bite worth savoring. The ube ice cream was equally impressive-- its creamy texture and depth of flavor shining through. We sampled their black sesame flavor as well, although it wasn't our cup of tea. I loved the flavor itself, but there were too many actual sesame seeds in the ice cream itself that made the texture less enjoyable for me. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! There's limited sampling, but my boyfriend and I tried two samples each before deciding on our flavors. AMBIANCE A lovely grab-and-go, mom-and-pop store! There's one table inside the store, but there are a couple of benches outside the shop. PARKING Ample parking is available in the garage near the store that is shared with all vendors at Mosaic (5-hour limit). FLAVOR RATINGS Snow Ginger: 10/10 if you love ginger; 7/10 if you don't Lychee: 10/10; I don't know how they encapsulate childhood in a spoon. Coffee Oreo: 10/10 the coffee flavor was very strong and the Oreo chunks plenty. Strawberry: 9/10; a solid strawberry flavor! I only wish it was a bit creamier. Ube: 10/10; the best Ube ice cream in the area. Incredibly flavorful and creamy. Durian: 10/10; the creamiest, most flavorful durian ice cream I've ever tasted in my life. And I speak as someone who's made it before. I can't capture the durian flavor as well as they have while maintaining the creaminess of their ice cream.

Mimi and the staff were super sweet and helpful. They let me try a lot of the different flavors. They have some very cool and interesting Asian flavors that is not seen in other places like lychee, ube, and thai tea. My favorite flavor was the Ube and apple pie. She even let me try the secret stash of durian bc she did not having enough for a full scoop. Highly recommend going for the fun and the traditional flavors.

Delicious colorful vibrant soft serve! I've been here countless times with my kids! The purple Ube…read moreice cream and green coconutty Pandan ice cream twist is our favorite and love topping it off with Oreo crumbles or sprinkles, and let's not forget the Ube wafers and Taikayi waffle cones! The flavors rotate seasonally with different combo twist flavors and there's now a Mini 6 oz option as well as the 9 oz classic option with unlimited toppings! There are interesting seasonal flavors that are fun to try: - Honey Dew & Guava Cheesecake Twist - The summer flavor and sweetness of the honey dew complemented the exotic guava cheesecake flavor. - Peach Honey Goat Cheese - My favorite summer! The unique flavor is complex with a bit sweetness and a touch of savory. You can taste all of the ingredients. - Sakura: The pink cherry spring flavor wasn't that sweet and a bit tangy. - Kyoto Taro Cheesecake: A great combo of Taro and Matcha Cheesecake twist that's not too sweet and flavorful Ube Cheesecake flavor - A bit bland with a subtle cheesecake flavor. - Watermelon Basil - Fun flavor to try and tastes like a sour watermelon jollyrancher. It pairs well with the Peach Honey Goat Cheese flavor. - Black Sesame - Grey, savory flavor with a hint of bitterness. - Cookies and Cream flavor is a bit bland. - Classic Ube & Pandan Twist: I always resort back to my favorite default sweet and coconutty flavor. The Taikayi waffle cones are delicious. As the stuffed Taikyai is quite decadent, getting it hollow without any filling is the best way to go with the ice cream. Any type of filling with the ice cream becomes overload of sweetness. The Wicked Pandan Float (from the glass cooler) was delicious with layers of green coconut Pandan cheesecake custard pudding on a bed of Oreo Crumbs drizzled with salted caramel dulche leche. All of the flavors pair well together. I wasn't a fan of the Ube Dulce Leche or the Ube Oreo Floater. The Ube custard was a bit bland and didn't like the jelly topping. Skip the floats in the cooler and head straight to order the ice cream! Sign-up with the app and you can score deals and discounts via text and get notified of new flavors and when some flavors retire. My kids and I enjoyed love coming here and sharing a fun sundae! We came here a dozen times during the summer. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.

As soon as you walk in there are tables chairs and stools by the window. Thing's to consider about…read morethe service, if you order via Kiosk you will either get your order in 20 or 40 minutes depending on if the workers are talking in the back not realizing you put an order in. Talk to the people that work there for orders to make sure the one you want isn't running out and to ask if it's being made fresh. The workers don't ask you anything just make the food when they finally do get around to making it. The food is good but expensive for what it is, the service is a 1/100 if that is possible. Food is 6/10 could be better, honestly go to an asian market and buy ice cream there it taste better and is cheaper. Plus you don't have to feel insulted waiting nearly an hour for an order when you're the only one in the restaurant and ordered via Kiosk. The kiosk is there for convenience to disregard customer to worker interaction making it easy to just gloss over orders until they feel a type of urgency when the restaurant floods with people. ONLY THEN will you get your order faster. Upon finding out they were talking to a manager in the back disappointed me more because a good manager would say look we have an order ticket handle this first then we can continue talking but I had to wait for their conversation to end before they even began working on my order. Do i recommend this place If you order via kiosk and don't mind waiting half an hour go for it If you like mediocre mid overhyped food go for it If you value your time and money go to an asian grocery store and buy their ice cream.
