Hi there, Been a loyal customer at Snooze, for years, but the deletion of some of their Bennies from the breakfast menu is making go out and try some new options. Even my waitress agreed there have been a lot of complaints about missing items on the menu. It's sad when you take such a good restaurant and make it less than it was. My friends and I came here after a hike, and we enjoyed all our food! The only thing we were not fond of were the mimosas. They tasted flat and our server informed us it's because their sparkling wine comes out of a tap. This immediately turned me away from ever ordering a mimosa from a snooze again. We came in after the rush on Saturday so the vibe was low key. I ordered the breakfast tacos and my friend ordered the breakfast burrito. I liked the tacos, but they would have been better with more flavor. They were a tad uninteresting as served. My friend had asked for no sauce on the burrito, but it came with sauce. She asked the person delivering the food for a saucer so she could remove the sauce. He didn't attempt to correct anything or tell the server "hey, there might be an issue over there." I ordered an Arnold Palmer which tasted like one would expect, but I didn't realize when I asked for a refill that I would be charged for another drink. The server could have mentioned there would be an additional charge because, in my experience, Arnold Palmers are usually a free refill. Chalk that up to lesson learned and next time I'll ask. Overall, I'll come back because the food is decent, it's close to my friend's house, and they take reservations. read more

We ordered a large catering order (over $700) from Snooze through EZ Caterer on November 11th for November 18th. The order was confirmed over 2 weeks in advance and at 4:00 AM the morning of the event we received a text saying the order would be delivered at the requested time of 7:00 AM. At 5:46 AM we received another text saying "Snooze can no longer cater" our order. No explanation, no phone call, no alternative option like takeout and only one hour until our meeting was starting with 25 people in attendance. We will never give Snooze another dollar of our business. They have absolutely no consideration for their customers. read more

Snooze is my favorite breakfast/brunch place. I always make it a point to visit a Snooze when I'm in a state where they're located - and so as it happens, I've been to locations in four different states. From Arizona to Texas, I've never had a bad experience at a Snooze. The food is always top notch (and endlessly customizable), the service is always spot on, and the vibe always fits the crowd I'm with. We stopped by this Snooze after an incredibly hectic morning that included an impromptu trip to the hospital. I joined the waitlist through my Yelp app, which meant we got to walk right past a few groups of people waiting for a table, and be seated right away. The host was friendly and welcoming - asking how our day was going so far. I didn't want to lie, so I said, "Well, it hasn't been the best." He smiled and said, "You're here now! We still have time to turn things around!" Our server was just as down-to-earth and cool. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but I won't soon forget our stellar service. My fiancé and I kicked brunch off with spicy Bloody Marys, and Snooze's are some of the best around. There's a delicate balance between too much spice and too much tomato, and Snooze always manages to find that perfect middle ground. I ordered the Benny Duo - and selected the Barbacoa Chile Verde and the Smashed Avocado. When I ordered the Barbacoa, our server smiled and said "ahhh, my one true love," and I really cannot agree with her more. This is such a fun interpretation on an eggs benedict - from the tortillas as the base, to the salsa and Cojita on top, it really exemplifies how you can mix classic Mexican flavors into your standard brunch, and take things up a notch. The smashed avocado half was also delicious - and had more mellow, subtle notes to pair with the Chile Verde's symphony of flavor. My fiancé ordered an enormous breakfast burrito, and since Snooze has so many enhancement options, he literally got to fill it with whatever he wanted. I can't remember all of what he put in there, but I know he too included Barbacoa, and we were both members of the clean plate club. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Snooze's hash browns. Served in a crispy little round of potatoey goodness, their hash browns are consistently one of my favorite parts of the meal. If your meal doesn't automatically come with them (most do!), make sure to order yourself a side, because you don't want to miss out. They finally seated us at a round booth that was super snug for our party of 6, but we were grateful to finally get some food and drinks going. They have a pretty decent menu selection with lots of fun cocktail options to choose from. We tried several of their mimosas and also got a really great briny Bloody Mary. I chose the Bella Benedict which had a lot of flavor and was a really nice portion size. I loved their unique offerings of Benedict's and pancakes, which we had the flight of. The sweet potato and blueberry danish pancakes were to die for. They were bursting with their respective flavors, yet light and fluffy and not too sweet. The upside down pineapple pancake was good as well, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant was bustling, but our server was very proficient and took great care of us with an amazing personality. Went here a few times, my last experience was great but today was terrible. It was for breakfast so the start of my day. Our server was the slowest, it took forever to get my latte in the beginning and then our server got my order wrong. She rang in the veggie mash up but I ordered the bacon mash up. They took the order back and tried to reuse the veggie mash into the bacon mash and it was cold and still had mushrooms and asparagus in it. Hard to go wrong with a Snooze! We had been to the one in San Diego a few years back and enjoyed it, so we played it safe and came to the one in Phoenix, too. Had about a 20 minute wait, but we wandered around the neighborhood making cute noises at dogs we passed. Had a hard time choosing breakfast - healthy? savory? sweet? but opted for sweet....and still had a hard time choosing. I decided on the french toast - brioche with fresh fruit and syrup. I really think there's something better about fruit either in Arizona or maybe just in the western part of the US. So much better than fruit back home. I ate every bite of the french toast. Super good. My husband got eggs benedict (I forget which type) and couldn't make it through the whole thing - definitely a good portion. It also came with a hash brown cake thing which tasted like a latke to me, and I ate most of it once he was stuffed. We had plenty of coffee to go around and a nice view of the dogs on the patio as we were seated next to the glass garage door. Not 1 but FOUR dogs right near us. We joined the wait-list online and I would recommend doing this with any Snooze location as they are very popular and you will wait forever if you're not on the list. This is a smaller location than downtown so I encourage you to join the list well in advance of your visit. Love Snooze!!! This was my first time at this location with one of my best friends. We had to be put on the waitlist, we were in about spot 40, and it took 40 minutes for us to be seated. That's pretty darn good! A minute a spot. We got to walk around the area and hit up Paper Source and Trader Joe's too. If you are put on the waitlist, definitely take some time to walk around! My good friend ordered the "Spuds Deluxe" with ham and hollandaise mixed in. I ordered the "Pancake Flight" which comes with 3 pancakes. I chose chocolate chip, pineapple upside down, and the seasonal pumpkin pecan. The chocolate chip pancake was standard. Nothing to complain about there! I enjoyed it. I mean, how can you mess up a chocolate chip pancake? It's a chocolate chip pancake. The pumpkin pecan pancake (say that 3 times fast) put a bit too much "spice" in "pumpkin spice". I only ate a bit of it and let my friend have at it. The pineapple upside-down pancake was my favorite. It was like a warm cinnamon bun but with pineapple in it. Delicious! The "Spuds Deluxe" with ham and hollandaise was simply amazing. I got a taste of her dish and thought damn, I should have ordered savory instead of sweet! It was just... perfection for breakfast. We both enjoyed each other's choices so much we switched halfway! There are two things you can count on when you go to Snooze: super cute decor and a tasty meal! I was glad to see that this spot was decorated as colorfully as the one downtown! The only thing is, I wish the music was not so loud. I would really enjoy being able to hear my friend talk.. I get their whole thing is "a party for breakfast" but... come on now. Our server was a bit inattentive, often leaving the table before we were able to request something we wanted, such as straws. The glasses for our waters had fingerprints along the rim where you'd put your mouth. Gee I know I'm sounding like I'm nitpicking but I could not help but notice the fingerprints glistening in the sunlight outside. Oh, and I had ordered a side of fruit and never got it. Now I don't know if I got charged for it because my smart self hardly looked over the receipt and never takes my copy home. Lesson learned! Overall, I enjoyed my time there. Came for brunch on a Thursday (12pm). The place wasn't busy in the slightest, so we were seated right away. We were also approached by our waiter after we got settled in so that was nice! I ordered myself a Buddha Bowl and I was a bit confused with this. I've had it before and it was great. However, this time it was completely different. I instantly took my first bite to the food being room temp. As I dug into my food more, the kale was COLD! As if it were sitting in the fridge. It's odd because my last Buddha bowl was warm and hot- all of it! I also paid about $15 for this meal and mind you I could see the bottom of my plate. I felt I didn't get a nice size portion for what I paid. My nieces food, she liked. Very average- nothing exceptional. A kids choc chip pancake that came with a side of fruit and hash browns. I also ordered her one scrambled egg. The size of the food for a child was the perfect size though. The service was fair. I caught myself searching for my waiter a couple times and waiting for him to look over at us- but he was still nice. The staff was also accommodating to requests (we asked for a table with an outlet). Given you probably wouldn't have that on a busy morning because it can get packed! I'm giving my second visit here a 2/5 because of the temperature of my food. One bite warm, another cold?? Confusing and not enjoyable. The taste was also bland if I'm being honest. My buddy and I came in for a weekday brunch. Seating was easily available and the AC was pumping (was already a warm/hot day). Our server Ashley assisted us right away with some waters and a drink order. She was super polite and nice. The menu here has good options of all the breakfast/brunch items. It was cool to see the vegan/gluten free options as well. I got the Snooze Classic over easy with sausage patties and wheat toast. It was solid and portion size was perfect for me. I didn't need to eat until dinner :) My buddy got the Pork Chile Verde Benny with a single Sweet Potato Pancake. He def liked both items. I had to try the pancake, WOW that flapjack was awesome!! This place is in a good spot to take a break for food during a shopping day given the number of shops in Town n Country plaza but also shops nearby within a few blocks. read more

I had such an amazing breakfast experience at Snooze today! We arrived just after 8 and were seated right away. Such a pleasantry since every time I've come here there's at the very least a 35 minute wait. We opted to sit outside because although it's a muggy 84 degrees, it was too chilly for me inside anyhow. We had the pleasure of having Jack as our server and he was awesome! Super personable, provided great recommendations (I decided on the Benny Duo and the two choices I made were the Lox (per his recommendation)) and the Pork Belly) and was an overall super attentive server (I drink a ton of water and my glass was full the entire time!). My partner enjoyed the three egg omelette with spinach, cilantro, cotija cheese and pulled pork... and both were super tasty! He enjoys the Ranchero sauce on basically everything (it's also super delicious!!) and had it on the side. But we had a treat prior to our dishes and enjoyed a little bit of OMG French toast and oh Em gee, literally... I know exactly why it's called that!! It came with a bit of strawberries, some yummy sauce and toasted coconut... DIVINE. We were just so pleased with everyone's service (especially Jack's) and left with happy hearts and full bellies.
