Vanilla almond matcha latte

I took my parents here on Sunday morning. It was their first time here and I had not been for a while. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Our server was very nice and she also was helpful with recommendations. The environment is bright and the furniture is retro and in great condition. We all enjoyed our food and we also had great drinks.

Bacon....But Different.

I was invited to Snooze a few weeks ago by my former colleagues/friends for "the best pancakes in Phoenix" and while I was unable to attend my mentality about the title remained the same...PROVE IT! I had the opportunity to chose a breakfast venue for my visiting sister and I so Snooze was already on my radar. Welp Yelp, the pancakes did not dissappoint!! The atmosphere was relaxed, temperature was comfortable, greeter was friendly and Omar our server...patient. We decided on Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice, Shrimp and Grits, Pancake Trio, Bacon But Better and 2 bevvies. The breakdown: Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice: like 11 different components from poblanos to pineapple, maple to siiracha. Components and flavors i wouldn't eat individually forget about together (and I LOVE PORK FRIED RICE) Snooze knocked this out of the park. Its sweet, savory a little spicy and beautifully balanced. Strongly suggest you EAT THIS. Shrimp and grits: I went back and forth about ordering this and glad I did so I know to either no order it again or make a change which would simply be the cheese. We were told parmesan cheese was used in the grits and this gave them a powdered taste that was not appetizing. The Shrimp were plentiful, small but plump the sausage crumbles packed a punch of flavor with a kick that a good andouille sausage produces, the sauce didn't flood the dish (something I do not care for) but I wont EAT THIS again. Pancakes Trio Sweet potato: Didn't give as much noted Sweet potato flavor as its siblings but still a REALLY good pancake. Strawberry shortcake: Girl! Where have you been? Cream on top, fresh strawberries and strawberry compote or syrup not sure but it was all delicious!! What could have easily been too sweet was perfect. Pineapple upside down: Like its fruit sibling this pancake could have given me a cavity but it did NOT. Small pieces of cut pineapples fused in the pancake. I dont know what it was topped with but leave it on there. Get the triplets!!! EAT THIS and you can byo if you'd like but these kids here are on the Nice, Deans, Honor any top of the line elite List you can think of. Bacon, bacon, bacon...cooked to perfection sweet, spicy and finger lickin' sticky. EAT THIS I will every time. I cannot end this review without a shout out to the Rejuvenate juice. Its SO SO good. I asked for the recipe. Bottom line, EAT HERE I cannot speak to other Snooze locations yet and I know there are locations closer to Goodyear but ill be back here SunYAY (if it ain't broke dont fix it). *This is the first time in my lifetime I did not add butter or syrup to my pancakes. Also note, I am not big on breakfast food.

Bacon But Different
Alayah H.

It was everything we wanted. Both omelet were really good. I got specifically got the special crab and asparagus omelet which had blue crab so I tasted pretty good for a Marylander. I loved the bacon but different because of the sweet and spicy ness. The service was good. They checked in on us frequently and willing to answer questions. We sat outside with a little of a breeze and nice sun coverage.

Corn beef hash, white toast, and scrambled egg

We ate here looking for a breakfast while staying in Phoenix. The place was clean with nice retro decor. The staff were attentive, nice, and the food was great. The whole party liked the taste of the their food. I had the Corn Beef Hash with white toast and scrambled. Everything on the plate was delicious. The eggs were light and fluffy, the toast was fresh and expertly toasted (not soggy, stale, or crispy), the jelly tasted great on the toast, and the finale - the corn beef hash was amazingly good. The crunchy well seasoned hashbrowns paired with the salty corn beef was very tasty.

Snooze is a great place for classic breakfast fare. It's best to arrive very early or about 1.5 hours before closing time if you plan to go in the weekends so you don't have to wait. It can get very busy during brunch time. The pancakes were fluffy, big and delicious and our omelette were great and fresh as well. I would definitely recommend their tasty bacon as well. Snooze has a big inside area and a large patio to eat outside as well during cooler weather. The staff was super friendly and we were seated very quickly and had great service overall. 4 stars since its only enjoyable during off times due to the typical large wait time and since the bacon was a little burnt.

Have been to several Snooze restaurants throughout the Valley and first time at this location. Quickly seated and had an excellent breakfast. The Sweet Potato Vegetable Smash has been a healthy favorite. Service and food were excellent. All good here!

They are super delicious, trendy and dog friendly! Love the strawberry marg! Hash browns are way better than other places (I'm talking about you First Watch and Cracker Barrel!) Love the pancake flight, so delish and fun to share . This location is great, right next to Whole Foods in Nordstrom rack. Don't snooze on Snooze! lol .

Tofu Scramble Basil & The Bee Burrata Toast Mimosa

Had a wonderful experience at this Snooze today! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Tristina, the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. She helped us choose between indoor and outdoor seating, and we were seated promptly in a great undercover outdoor spot. We ordered mimosas, the tofu scramble, and the Basil & the Bee burrata toast, and everything was excellent. The mimosas had the perfect balance of bubbles and orange juice, the tofu scramble was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and the burrata toast was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive, polite, and made sure our drinks and food arrived quickly. She consistently checked in to ensure we were enjoying everything, which really elevated the experience. Tristina also stopped by our table to check on us, which truly reflected the level of care and hospitality here. From the welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional food and service, this visit was a reminder of why Snooze is such a favorite. A genuine 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this location!

Stopped here after a nice hike and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was nice, quaint. The service was on point. The food was solid. Nothing fancy. I had the corn beef hash and my friend had the snooze special. Everything tasted great.

Food is great. Prices are fair. The biggest issue is the ambiance--it's loud and very crowded at peak times. Often a long wait.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Do you have a kids menu?

Yes, it is filled with great activity's and yummy foods!

Do they offer bottomless mimosas?

Wishful thinking, but no, they don't offer bottomless mimosas.

What would be the wait for a large group at 9AM on Saturday?

I would say expect to wait an hour!

Is there a virtual wait list?

There is not. Once you come in you can get on the list and they will text you when the table is ready. You can walk to starbucks or drink free coffee while you wait.

Are they dog friendly?

Yes, on the patio only. Not sure about service dogs inside, but anyone can bring their dog to the patio!

What is the wait time for around noon on a Saturday?

I think at least 45 minutes! Parking is the worse at that time, might as well take an Uber there and bring a book... or grab a mimosa and play corn hole with a stranger and meet new people..

Hello fellow Yelpers! What's the average wait time for a four-top on a Sunday at 10am? I've never been able to get my normal group there before 11:30, so I'm wondering if earlier has a shorter wait. Thanks in advance.

1-1.5 hours

What is the wait time for Sunday at 1:00pm?

You will be looking at 45mins to an hour any day/time of the week. Do not, and I repeat... do not… Read more

Where is there parking?

There's a small lot in front and a few spots right outside on the street.

Do they allow dogs if you sit on the patio?

I do not have an official answer, but there are currently people sitting on the patio with a small dog.

How's the wait time around 1:00 on a Friday?

It seems at all times the wait is always at least 15-20 minutes, but a Friday afternoon will be busier, so I would allow 30 minutes!

Is there disabled parking?

There are a few in front, however the lot does fill up quickly

GOOD! inspired by taco bell's baja blast hahahah). they TREATED us to all three of their current desserts on the menu. it was the most pleasant surprise i could've imagined. my favorite was the flourless chocolate cake! it was like a thick, rich brownie, had passion fruit cream to "lighten it up" and a caramel-like taffy on the bottom my brother and sister-in-law both said their favorite was the gulab jamun (which is basically like little fried dough balls/donuts, influenced by indian flavors and spices). the mille-feuille was also fantastic - the pastry was light and airy, cream wasn't too sweet and also very light, shaved cheese on top made it have a savory bite, and the jam alongside it was strawberry rhubarb. service is always amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; it seems like everybody working here truly enjoys it. quite literally already have a reservation booked at valentine and will be coming back here beforehand. update: came back for more drinks (fernet & coke, spaghett western, negroni) and their lamb flauta. all AMAZING! and amazing order to whet the appetite before dinner at valentine.

Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
