I've been to Hash Kitchen probably 5-6 times, which should tell you everything. My friends keep telling me to try somewhere new, but apparently I'm loyal when masa, potatoes, and birria are involved. My current obsession is the Masa Potato Tacos topped with birria. Four crispy tacos stacked with potatoes, birria, lettuce, tomatoes, and verde sauce. Such a good bite. I tell myself I'll only eat two...and then suddenly we're discussing taco #4. One small gripe: the amount of birria can be inconsistent. Sometimes they're generous, and other times I'm looking at my tacos like, "Excuse me, where's the rest of my birria?" Especially since it's an add-on, I'd love to see a little more consistency. I've also had the Billionaire's Bacon and tried their coffee. The coffee wasn't my favorite, and my oat milk separated in it, which immediately gave me the heebie-jeebies. I'll stick with the mimosas because they definitely don't skimp on the champagne. The restaurant itself is big, modern, clean, and super cute. On weekends I've been there with a DJ playing, so breakfast can quickly become a whole vibe. I'm not a Bloody Mary girl, but their Bloody Mary bar is WILD. If you're looking for a brunch with a fun, party day drinking vibe then this is the place. A group of friends and I came to Hash Kitchen for my friend's birthday brunch and we loved it. They don't take reservations but they do have a waitlist, I will say though the waitlist still had quite a bit of wait even past the time it said we were next so be prepared to wait. The BYO Bloody Mary bar alone stole my heart. I'm a huge Bloody Mary fan and being able to stack mine with all the toppings I want was great. I also really enjoyed the flavor of their house made mix and the jalapeño vodka was a perfect pairing. If you're not a fan of bloodys, they also have some fun cocktails and a giant glitter mimosa. Food wise I also enjoyed it, the cannoli donuts were a 10/10 and avocado toast was pretty tasty. My only two reasons this isn't a 5 star for me is the long wait after the waitlist & our server sucked. She barely checked on us, had a rude attitude & I had to flag her down just to get our check. I watched her busting her butt getting all sorts of tables set up for big parties and she was quick, efficient, and did it all with a smile and great attitude. I came with a large group last minute on Father's Day (because I'm the worst I know) and we expected it to be too packed for us which was fine! Bree let us know it was an hour long wait (which we expected) but helped us navigate placing a takeout order instead. While we were looking at the menus outside, another big party didn't show up so she ran out to us and seated us. It was great!! She was awesome and so was our kind server (Tiana? Kiana? My family and I went to Hash Kitchen for brunch this morning and it was such a delight. We waited 5 minutes for a large booth for the four of us and had the nicest server. Our host forgot it was someone's birthday, so we had to remind our server later, but they ended up bringing out two free shots since the first one didn't come with the birthday announcement from the dj - also another way he made it super special for her birthday and made her feel really treated. Hash kitchen is always loud and a party with the music, so if you want somewhere more quiet and intimate this isn't your place, but we loved it! I ordered the Mexican scrambler and added chicken tinga and ended up bringing half home as it was so filling. The had browns were also so delicious. When we lived in Phoenix we visited Hash Kitchen all the time. This Arcadia location was not completed yet when we left so now that we were in town we wanted to check it. Like all the other locations this one did not disappoint. We all ordered a a different hash: Carnitas Hash, Huevos Rancheros Hash and Birria Hash. They were all excellent but I will say the Carnitas one was the most flavorful. I personally had the birria and really enjoyed it. The birria was tender, came with perfecly cooked eggs, the potatoes were cheesy, came with 3 quesadillas to make quesabirrias and came with a flavorful consome to dip your birria in. We didnt have drinks this time, other than coffee, but usually the drinks are great the build your own bloody mary is always fun. I ordered a glass of champagne and my husband ordered a cold brew. They said they were out of cold brew so he took an iced coffee instead. The real issue was the check. The champagne was $1 more than the menu price and they charged us for the cold brew instead of the lower priced iced coffee. While the amount of money is small in the grand scheme of things, it left me feeling that the business isn't really being conscientious in how it treats its customers. With the number of glasses of champagne that they sell at brunch, there are a lot of people overpaying at this restaurant every day. The significant price increases at restaurants that people are already absorbing make it particularly annoying to be charged even more than the menu price. read more

Ordered a coffee that took a while to be served. I did my Yelp homework about HK so I narrowed down my choices. I was between the Huevos Rancheros, Birria hash or chilliques. Our server helped me choose the Best f#^€ hash. Brody got the chilliques and Julian kept it simple with the brunch sammich. Brody definitely got the biggest portion and I tried it and it was really tasty. I enjoyed my meal and I was in the clean plate club, but the hash bowl didn't have as many potatoes as I would have liked. Julian seemed to enjoy his sammich. I had the fried chicken Benedict hash - they have fried leeks on it which seems to be a thing here. For a place called "hash kitchen," their servers seem to call their hash Browns "McDonald's".Oof. But crispy and good nonetheless. The potato tacos had a lot of stuff. The brunchilada stack hash has mashed potatoes! Such creative and clever platings. Don't go here thinking you can just get bacon and eggs. Also my husband got a make your own scramble. It doesn't come with toast. So you have to order it a La Carte. I dunno. I think that's dumb and cheap. The open air format, with the bar being half outside, is very welcoming. I can see it being an issue in the sweltering desert heat, but in spring it wasn't bad. My other gripe? I saw years ago there was a Flintstone's hash which looks like it's not a regular menu item. Weak! I need that in my life. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my protein bowl. The flavors were so good. The chimichurri sauce was the perfect balance of bright, tangy, garlicky, and herby. They used good quality chicken and the whole bowl was devoured! The bread pudding french toast sticks reminded me of churros -- fried to perfection and paired with a whipped nutella crème. I really wanted the lemon ricotta pancakes but they were out, so I got the strawberry matcha pancakes for us to share. It was rather disappointing. I barely tasted any matcha and the strawberry crème was overpowering and had an artificial strawberry taste. We all tried a bit and left that. Overall, our server was really nice and attentive.
