Hash Kitchen As soon as we arrived in Phoenix, we stopped by Hash Kitchen as it was a highly recommended breakfast spot with great reviews. We arrived approximately an hour before closing but they still treated us well and didn't make us feel rushed or anything. We had the pleasure of being served by Christin and when I tell you she's one of one!! A true gem!! Literal Heaven on Earth! Like yall need to give her a raise now and if you did already, give her another one! She was literally everything you could ask for in a server. She was sweet, super bubbly, had a great attitude, very knowledgeable and just a hardworker altogether!! We were so grateful to have her! I didn't order any beverages but my friends did and they mentioned that it was pretty good! We all had a variety of entrees but o specially split the hash birria and birria scramble and they were both good to me. One of my friends wasn't a fan because she felt like the birria didn't have any tase but she's also a really picky eater lol. We also split the coconut, almond French toast and I also loved that. The portions here are soo huge so you're definitely leaving full. I didn't try the bacon but everyone really enjoyed it at my table. I also sampled a bite of my cousin's pancake and it literally melted in my mouth! The best bloody Mary I have ever had, and the omelettes were off the charts I love all the hash kitchens

Came in as a party of 3 on a Friday morning just before 10am & was seated promptly. They had a DJ that played good music, not overly loud so that was nice. I ordered the That's That Me Espresso with tequila instead of vodka & it was the perfectly balanced espresso martini. My sister got the Jungle Booze Bag & it was a nice, fruity cocktail that makes you feel like you should be on a Caribbean island enjoying a beach day. For food, we shared the Billionaire's Bacon & Boujee Biscuits & both were delicious. The bacon was a nice thick slice of bacon drizzled with a yummy yuzu glaze & fancy gold flakes. The biscuits came with 3 biscuits and they were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft and moist in the center. All 3 compound butters it came with gave it a different flavor which was nice. For my main meal I got the carnitas hash with over easy eggs. The carnitas was very tender and not dry. The smashed potatoes were nice and crispy but soft at the same time. I've tried the breakfast tacos and the tamales benedict and they were delicious! Coming from LA I came here twice to try different plates since there's nothing like this in California.... Their Post workout pancakes are delicious to share as a side item. Good coffee, I'd suggest sharing a french press! The food was pretty good, I liked the lemon blueberry pancakes and the omelette. Waitress was very enthusiastic with our big group.

The music can get a little loud for us so we sit at the bar, either inside or out and KJ, the bartender, is the reason we frequent this location. Fantastic service. My husband loves the lattes that come out perfect EVERY time, as well as, the Birria hash, tamale cakes and the banana split French toast. And of course, the Bloody Mary bar is insane. read more

I had no clue that it took 30 minutes on a non busy day to get served, nobody asked us for water or anything the boss and the hostess aren't doing anything but going to the back and eating. My husband and I have been sitting here ready to order for the past 45 minutes. And all the servers keep looking around not asking if we've been helped or anything. This is beyond me. And then when we were asked who sat us the hostess says she didn't seat us. So we just walked in here and sat down. If anyone decides to come here ensure you are seen because apparently they don't pay attention to their customers. When I went here a few years ago, we had amazing food, service and the bloody Mary was absolutely unforgettable. However, when we returned with a large party, the service was extremely poor, even though we were there on a weekday and the restaurant was mostly empty. The coffee was terrible, the bloody Mary was watered down and many of our dishes were overcooked or lacked flavor. I'm not sure if it was just an off day for the restaurant because reviews are so high or if things are going downhill. I hope it is the former. read more

I just had one of the best dining experiences at this Hash location. The place is decorated with fun party vibes and nice and clean. The Bloody Mary and smashed potatoes were absolutely incredible crunch and delicious with a spicy pickled Bloody Mary with the most tasty sour veggies in town. The service was the cherry on top for me. The bartender Shane was super friendly and accommodating to my drink, and my server Kristin was a delight, always filled my water she was very polite and checked in with me when I needed her. As I was planning for a family vacation in Phoenix, I came across a random instagram post about 'Hash Kitchen' that led to a search and decision that I needed to experience a weekend brunch. To be fair, I was relatively certain everyone in the family would LOVE the food but was sure my wife wouldn't love the atmosphere. I knew my son and I would! It's pretty loud, like a party with pancakes. It's a typical boozy brunch but with a DJ, fanfare, and a lot of folks who arrive in an Uber knowing they were going to have a great morning and sleep off part of their afternoon. I'm not much of a drinker, but enjoy that atmosphere and it didn't disappoint at all. And the food was fantastic! There are a few Hash Kitchens around the Phoenix area, and I assume they're all pretty similar. On Saturday and Sunday you can get the full experience - if you prefer a quieter breakfast, pick a weekday. The food was amazing. I chose the Banana Bread Pancakes, and even with my bigger appetite, after a morning of flying from Indiana to Phoenix and having only a bag of airplane pretzels all day, I was only able to eat about half of my meal. The pancakes were perfect, plenty of banana flavor and more on top. They'd get six stars. I didn't order a mimosa flight, even though I wanted to, because I was driving. I did have a single 'frosted flake shooter' which came in a 'cone' that was edible and some vanilla related liquors. They had a nonalcoholic version that my son enjoyed as well. Son ordered the chicken and waffle (no surprise) and loved it. It's always nice when the C&W includes a boneless breast instead of a whole chicken. He was able to eat most of his, but still thought the portion size was great. He wanted to return to repeat. Wife ordered a basic American scramble - she's more for the savory than sweet and I could have predicted that order. I would normally do the same, but tend to go sweet and extravagant when on vacation, and like to try the huge weird pancake concoctions that various restaurants come up with. Wife loved hers as well, but to be fair those are pretty hard to mess up. She also did utilize the Bloody Mary bar (I wouldn't be caught dead drinking a Bloody Mary) and it had a ridiculous array of options to add to the drink. She had a smaller version, but many folks around us had gigantic Bloody Mary drinks in what I would consider a beer stein sized glass. Same for the mimosas. She said food and drink were great. It was crowded but not overly so. Parking was a bit of a pain because so many businesses share the lot. Service was super quick, and our server was young and fun and helped keep the party going for his tables. There was a bachelorette party at one table, a birthday girl, and several groups of younger patrons just enjoying their time together. The bartender stays busy :) All in all, we enjoyed the experience. The music was loud and fun, and the food was great. Wife said she'd 100% repeat but would prefer a week day morning. Horrible service! Waiter came to take our drinks brought them out a little later. Came back 20-30 minutes after to take our food order. Not once did she bring the food out, checked up on us, we had to keep going to the hostess to ask for things, manager was too busy talking to other employees to care. They served us a stale salad crouton, unwashed lettuce replaced it with grilled cheese to get this nasty grilled cheese 20 minutes later to an un busy restaurant? Wife and I had a very nice time, even though the music is not our style and quite loud. But we knew that going in. Everything else was amazing! Croque Madam is a French style ham and cheese with Gruyère cheese and a fried egg on top. Delicious! See the photo! The photo does not show how great it tasted with the Dijon mustard and brown sugar ham. We also shared a Boston Cream Pie Pancake. Now look at that photo! Okay, I want to start off by saying that our food and drinks were SO good, and our waitress (sad I can't remember her name :() was so nice and checked on us pretty consistently once we had our food. I got the hangover hash and my mom got the Basic AF, and then for drinks she got a mimosa with a cotton candy bomb and I got a peanut butter mudslide. It was pretty loud in here and my mom and I had to kind of yell to hear each other, which isn't awful per se, but something to keep in mind if you have sensory issues and get overstimulated easy or are just sensitive to loudness in general. We got seated like 5 minutes after we got there because I put myself on the waitlist, but unfortunately it took a while for our waitress to get to us at first. She apologized profusely, so I'm not upset, just keep in mind it can get pretty crazy and like 2 or 3 parties who got seated after us got waited on before, so maybe don't come on a weekend brunch if you're already hangry lol. Overall I don't know if I'd come back without noise cancelling headphones because I'm autistic and was really overstimulated, which is my own fault for not checking the reviews about ambience, but the food was great and if you have no problem with loudness then definitely check it out. :) read more

I was here for my birthday weekend (Halloween Weekend) and tbh from the outside driving by its always popping. Good music, cute venue (inside and out), food smelled good. For my last day in Phoenix, AZ - my friend and I came here. The wait time was reasonable. I waited 25 mins for a seating of 2. We chose any seat available and we sat outside. At first where we sat was a bit windy and we moved closer to the bar where the wind wasn't touching us or the food when it comes in. Coffee was mediocre but the CARNITAS HASH was the bomb. I asked for extra crema and green chili sauce on the side since I like to drench my carnitas in flavor. It wasn't spicy so I asked for extra hot sauce on the side as well. My bestie got the Maso's Breakfast Potato Tacos with a michelada and they messed it up. She is the "Miche Queen" so when she sees her order wrong, she trips but with grace. Who orders a Michelada with a Coors Light, whoever does that sucks hairy butts. The potato tacos were good and fulfilling. When I get back to Phoenix, AZ I will definitely check this place out again because its on my top list as having the most fun while eating breakfast in the morning/brunch. read more
