Excellent customer service, dope ambiance as it is located in a transformed and renovated house! Food was delicious!!!! Go in and try the lunch special. Huge juicy burger with fresh ingredients and Yummy Truffle Parmesan fries! Frozen cocktails are great as well. And to top it off.... They have Gluten Free Buns for the burger!!!!

My hubby and kids treated me to a Mother's Day brunch at The Vig in Arcadia, and it was such a sweet way to spend the morning. They snagged a reservation ahead of time, and when we got there, we were seated out on the patio--it was such a beautiful, chill morning. Totally relaxing. I started off with an espresso martini and included the Baileys to make it extra creamy. So good!! For brunch, I went with the avocado toast, and wow--it was absolutely delicious. It came with a side salad that had this super flavorful dressing! So dang good! My daughter ordered the pancakes, and they were amazing too--lots of vanilla flavor, but in a really nice, not to overpowering. I wrapped it all up with a refreshing sangria to finish off the brunch. Overall, such a fun and tasty morning. We'll definitely be going back!

Great lunch experience at the Vig Arcadia. Service was excellent, good lunch specials. Noise can be loud but had a corner table.

I love this Vig location!! It's a cool vibe with half inside and half outside. And it's perfect weather right now for this concept. We had eight of us for lunch - the server was very attentive and nice. The food came out fast and everyone got their meals at the same time. I also love how The Vig has gluten free bread!! So of course I had to order the roasted turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries. SO GOOD. The bread slightly crumbles but it's pretty good for gluten free (I can only imagine how even more tasty this is with the pretzel bread). There was a good amount of turkey, and with the melted cheese, creamy slaw (for some texture), and cranberry sauce... perfection. And dipped into the mustard-y aioli, wow. Not even needed but elevates this sandwich even more. Great textural contrasts, great balance of sweet and savory and acidic. The sweet potato fries dipped into the aioli or ranch, love. Nice and crispy, which is how I like it! A good portion of fries too! I also snuck some of the queso from my friends. Very cheesy and rich queso, and so good when it's nice and hot. This was a huge appetizer, four could share it easily!

I haven't been to this location before but today was the day, as I hosted a couple of colleagues/friends for an Administrative Professionals lunch. We had a reservation and were seated immediately on the shady patio. All of our food was delicious and our cocktails were too. We had a great server and the entire staff was great!

We have become increasing fans of the Vig at multiple locations so decided to try the original. It has the same upscale but relaxed vibe. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. The pretzel was hot with a crispy crust and moist soft inside. pastrami was tasty and not too fatty. The chipotle cream pasta was smooth and silky, not heavy. Service is a little on the slower side, but that's part of the relaxed atmosphere, not really an issue.

Dined-8.22.24 Or just randomly started to storm (monsoon season) and we still opted to sit outside as we knew the storm would pass. The host moved tables around to ensure we wouldn't get wet. Server was attentive you just have to be patient when looking for parking. Food was good, complaints (aside the very limited parking).

First time at this Vig! I got the French dip which was pretty good just a little fatty, but overall great flavor. My wife got the chopped chicken salad which she loves and always gets when she goes to The Vig. For dessert we got the butterscotch bread pudding and it was epic!! So delicious I wanted to order a second! Service was good. Had to ask for a refill of my drink but the waitress was nice.

A dimly lit American styled eatery that has good food and service. I got to try their calamari as an appetizer , the vig burger, and the fried chicken sandwich. Starting with the calamari, it's fried well with a good crisp and flavor; it wasn't overcooked and the squid had the perfect texture. The dip was good, and I enjoyed the pickled onions to add some acidity. The fried chicken was also decent but needed more sauce. I think more hot honey or BBQ sauce would've made it much better. The vinegar slaw was a nice counterbalance and the texture was good, but it needed more sauce. 4/5 The vig burger on the other hand was very good. The cheese, pickled jalapeno, aioli, guac, and fried onions all came together very well to compliment the meat (medium). Both fries were also not lacking in any department. I preferred the sweet potato fries a bit more, but the regular ones were tasty as well. Overall, I had a good experience. Prices range around $15 per app, $20 per entree, and $10 for dessert. Soda is $4.

Met a few friends for HH. Made a reservation online for the patio. Were quickly seated when we arrived. The patio is a nice space. There's a mix of seating options, some covered, some not. They also have heaters and umbrellas -- the heaters came in handy. There is a HH menu, but honestly I wouldn't say the drinks are HH priced. One espresso martini and a spicy margarita (mostly ice) went down quick! For food we ordered the HH tacos (an order of shrimp and an order of veggie tacos) and a burrata starter to share. The tacos are small street tacos but had a lot of flavor -- hard to eat though. The burrata was good, with nice crusty bread, a herbal pesto, and sliced grape tomatoes.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

One thing to know is there is no table service. You order at the counter and they have a lot of choices so if you have never been there it's hard to decide while other people are waiting behind you. I came with my mom and we were craving pancakes so again didn't get any eggs which is what they are known for and their breakfast pizzas. So I'll come back to try those. We split buttermilk pancakes and a cinnamon roll. They do have real maple syrup but of course they up charge for the good stuff. The pancakes are ok but don't taste like buttermilk pancakes. They looked good but it definitely tasted like a mix and not a good one. They were way overly sweet. They weren't terrible but just not great. 4/10 on the pancake scale. The cinnamon roll also tasted like a store bought premade roll. It was also kind of burnt and didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the coffee which I was highly skeptical about because it was serve yourself from a carafe. But it was good and strong. Nice views of the mountains and the patio is dog friendly. I want to like this place because it's in my neighborhood so next time I'll try the eggs dishes. Also they have several veggie/vegan selections so I'll come back for those too and to bring my dog.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
