Snooze is my go to Brunch. All the locations throughout the valley that I've tried are consistent with their food taste and quality and service. This location is right near Roosevelt road. I always get the Benedict's. This time is the Bella Bella Benny. The egg yolks are runny, which is perfect. Love the arugula, very refreshing with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. I love their hashbrown with their yellow bird hot sauce! The prosciutto was delicious. The corned beef hash was crispy and savory and perfect with the yellow bird hot sauce as well. First time trying this breakfast place. We were downtown and decided to try something new. Great location but unfortunately that was the highlight. Server was okay but the place was definitely understaffed. It took some time to get the drinks and food order taken. Food came out and the manager who brought it out didn't seem like she wanted to be here. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. Portion size was not a good value for the price. I would've given 4-5 stars because the food is very good. BUT service is awful overall and this is why I give 3 stars. We walk in and told there's a 10 minute wait. Then 2 minutes later another couple walks in and gets seated immediately. We asked them and they told us sorry and got us seated. Then our server was not friendly and barely came to our table. We waited 15 minutes to finally order with her. Then she checked on us 10 minutes after our food arrived (would've been nice to have extra napkins and hot sauce). Delicious and very fast service. I was here with one of my girlfriends and they had so many good things to choose from, but I am trying not to go crazy with carbs, so the protein bowl fit the bill. It was absolutely delicious with the vinaigrette, sausage, bacon, pickled onions......all of it. I asked for my eggs over easy instead of scrambled, which they happily did. Good coffee too. Our server was really nice, we had nice chats with the waitresses and Snooze team. My family and I were seated quickly, despite visiting on a Saturday morning. The location is huge, so there's plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio. I appreciated the outdoor umbrellas providing shade for the customers. RECCOMENDATIONS: I ordered the Spuds Deluxe* which comes with a heaping portion of hash browns, covered with melted cheddar & Jack cheese, scallions and topped two cage-free eggs.(890-1320 cal $15.95). What a letdown on the service at the downtown Phoenix location. We went on a Sunday morning, fully expecting a long wait. Surprisingly, there was no wait at all--and honestly, that should've been a red flag. Every time I've gone to Snooze on a weekend, there's usually a wait, which I don't mind because the food is consistently good. In terms of locations, downtown Phoenix has the best setup and atmosphere in my opinion. I'd rank Tempe second, followed by 24th Street, and then Shea. That's based on the locations I've personally visited. Now, getting back to what really matters--the food. The over-hard eggs were a solid 9.9, the sausage patty was a 10, the bacon an 8, and the hash browns an 11. Great texture every time and cooked perfectly, just how they should be. Food-wise, they still deliver. Service-wise, this location needs some work. read more

My mom and I worked up an appetite after going to Thiftapalooza at the fair grounds. We did a quick yelp search and found ourselves at Snooze. The only reason for 4 stars is it is downtown and parking is tough. We were lucky to find a metered spot not too far from the restaurant. The decor is super cute and retro. We had fantastic service too, not only did our waitress check on us frequently so did the hostess. Now for the food. My mom had blueberry buttermilk pancakes that came with REAL Vermont maple syrup and NO up charge. That made me extremely happy!! First spot in PHX so far that I've come across. I grew up in Vermont so I am a true maple snob. Also the pancakes were huge and soooo good!! There were made with fresh blueberries you could tell they weren't frozen. I had the smashed avocado benny and added plant based chorizo. It was the bomb!! They also had some really good red and green hot sauce. And I should have mentioned this first but they have an extensive cocktail menu with at least 3 different kinds of Bloody Mary's!! Yum!!!! I was very satisfied and will definitely be back. A nice brunch spot tucked in downtown Phoenix. Very spacious with up stairs seating Music playing in the background. Not to loud just enough to be heard and your date not to scream. Everything about Snooze was fabulous and top tier!! The wonderful bright interior is so welcoming and fresh! The seating is comfortable and accommodating to large and small groups! The staff, servers were amazing and made the experience even better! The food is the star of the show! We ordered the pancake flight, the crab and asparagus omelette, the French toast and the classic breakfast. Everything was made perfectly, tasty with full on flavor and everything complimented each other. I also had an expresso Martini which was one of the best! I had my first bad experience with Snooze today. Usually I love this place, but today really left a bad imprint on me. I have really bad food anxiety and a sensitive stomach due to medical reasons. Today I was served moldy fruit on top of my pancakes. I thought they looked a little off, but I didn't notice the mold until I was a few bites in. They rushed me a new plate, but my anxiety was piqued and it was hard for me to eat. I thought a manager would come out to address the fact that there was mold on my plate, but no one came and it wasn't even removed from the bill. Fast forward to later, my stomach is hurting and I'm afraid it's from the moldy fruit. I feel like things that make people sick should be better handled and I'm very disappointed that it made it to the table. I don't think we will be going back again. :( read more

Decided to eat here on our last morning in town and were so glad they opened so early. We arrived at 715 and this place is like a retro vibe. Signs all sound introduce you to some seasonal and most popular menu items. There is so much to choose from. We were greeted promptly and the server was very friendly and attentive. We opted for some fancy pancakes and some breakfast items like eggs and hash made in various ways. I visited Snooze for the first time with a friend for brunch! It was the perfect little brunch place. The food is AMAZING. I got the hot cocoa pancakes (I love sugar) and they were so good. There was a marshmallow on top that was melted and acted as a sort of butter. The hot cocoa that came with it was actually a thick syrup! Absolutely delicious. My only critique would be that the peppermint flakes were a little hard to chew, but if you want some festive holiday food I'd highly recommend these pancakes! They weren't overly sweet either. We sat down and noted there were plenty of servers So we sat and sat and sat for about 15 minutes finally when the host walked by we asked him if there was an available waitress he said "oh yes, I'll go get them". A new customer came in and was seated and several more minutes passed by and the waitress approached the Newly seared customers table and no one still came to even take a coffee order from us . Decided to stop in before catching my flight back to California. It has an old 50/60s vibe for decor. It's not a super larger space but it's well spaced. The service was quick and the staff was nice. The waitress and my wife shared a moment over nails and angel numbers (lol). The food was great. My wife loved her shrimp and grits. We split some French toast. It was really good. Not too sweet. We have two under two (years old) so whenever we go out to eat, it's either a really good experience or bad. Usually bad. But our server Destiny is really sweet! Her service is memorable, especially with getting the kids' meals going first so they were calm when it was our turn to eat. The hostess (didn't get her name but she had colored hair and glasses) let us sit outside and was very helpful finding a place for our stroller wagon. Reasonably priced + the server was great at providing recommendations! I'm reviewing this specific location because I went there yesterday and parking was kind of a hassle. There is a parking garage behind this location but it's hard to get into, there is also parking lot a few doors down that is $20 for a few hours. I would recommend parking behind the building in the parking lot. The parking is free and it's just a short walk to the restaurant that's on the corner! read more

Except I'm a little salty they took the Salmon Benedict off the menu awhile ago cause that Benedict was better than any they currently have, and very popular. So if yall were thinking about bringing it back, this is your sign (; This downtown location gets busy quick, so definitely hop on the Yelp waitlist so you can get a spot. They just launched their summer menu so I had the delicious rejuvenate pressed juice which was so yummy and refreshing. I love so many things on their menu so it was life changing to find out you can get a half order of the OMG French toast so you can get multiple items and still have room. I always get the Benny duo with the Bella Benny, and smashed avocado. Both are so good, and helpful to have the duo for those of us that like our options. I will say these people who work here are consistent with their food. While I was waiting for my order to go, our server asked if we wanted some drinks while we wait. That's good service. Monte Cristo- This is so good! It's an open face bread pudding like consistency brioche bread almost like a french toast style that melts in your mouth goodness. It's an upscale bits of ham, cheese, bacon and a sunny side up fried egg on top. It comes with a strawberry spring salad with raspberry vinaigrette. But wait!!!
