This downtown Phoenix restaurant was empty when we stopped in for lunch, which is to be expected--downtown on a Saturday is usually dead until the evening. There is patio seating, and it would be a great patio to watch people on a day with cooler weather. The decor was nice--a colorful desert mural, a long bar, and interesting light fixtures that looked like black waffles. We skipped cocktails and just grabbed lunch - green chili and bacon mac and cheese and fish tacos. First of all, the portions were quite large. We expected three street tacos, but these were Big tacos. The mac and cheese was good, with a very nice cheese pull. But those tacos dash dash fantastic! I can't say enough about how good those tacos were. The house needs also was also very good. If you're downtown and I'm looking for a place to eat, this is a good choice. It's actually located in a hotel, although I couldn't tell you which hotel. With a group of 11 this service was reasonably good. My chicken burger was very good but frustrating that when I asked for a substitute to fry's, a Caesar salad with suggested but then they charge $5 for it. The barbecue chicken flatbread was okay, but the chicken on it was very dry. And since it was a group of mortar than six, we were charged a 20% service charge, well at least some of us were. Very inconsistent and I almost got the feeling they added the service charge to me and not others because I asked about the $5 salad. If it was not across the street from the Orpheum we wouldn't have gone in the first place, and will not be going back. read more

Got the burger and to say it fell short is most likely an understatement. No flavor probably and this is just my thought, a frozen patty certainly didn't taste fresh, certainly not worth the price. Where's Adam?? AKWARD, weird, confusing, bizarre. Those are the 4 words that come to mind. We stumbled across Adam's table trying to find a pre concert dinner place. Foolishly, we saw Hyatt..assumed some corporate standard. Holy grail of a classic example of corporate failure. It looked inviting. NOT busy at all. Our bartender "Dulce" is what our receipt said...slugged around clearly high as a kite or on something more. (I would bet the ladder) Who in their right mind put Lurch at the forefront of their establishment? Clearly the same disinterested manager that can't see their employees are miserable. At least they worked. I work in the industry, so I hate writing reviews like this. It enrages me when more qualified and motivated servers get put on the back burner to put someone who clearly can give a flying kite up front. It was PAINFUL watching this poorly ran 3 ring circus. It's disheartening with this economy watching a complete management failure. I only gave two stars because the facility was clean. And the staff that actually cared and were working were present and professional. Our fish and chips were way undercooked. I tried to get our bartenders attention. We stopped at Adams Table for dinner before heading to a concert at The Van Buren--it's super convenient since it's right at the bottom of the Hyatt and within walking distance. The service was great and the food came out quickly, which was perfect for our plans. I tried the Berry Cooler, which wasn't really my thing, but the Hibiscus-Colada was amazing and super refreshing. My daughter got the kids' chicken nuggets and fries--the fries were awesome, but the nuggets didn't have much flavor. The fish and chips were delicious and crispy, and the elote shrimp was definitely a hit. The Summer Chop salad was just okay, but overall, we had a good experience. I came here for dinner while I was in town. It's located in the Hyatt Place Hotel but they have indoor/outdoor seating and really nice decor with a bar and tv. I ordered a mocktail which was delicious and the rigatoni a la vodka with added grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was good and the vodka sauce was really tasty, but there wasn't enough of it. The grilled chicken was a huge breast, sliced, but it was very heavily seasoned. I was surprised. More sauce would have been great to mask the heaviness of the seasoning and make the pasta not seem so dry, but when I mentioned it to my server he didn't offer to try to get me more sauce. He just said he would let the kitchen know. That was disappointing. He was very polite and attentive so I still gave him a good tip, but I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I could have. read more

Adams Table is a restaurant with good food in a convenient location. It is located in downtown Phoenix. The restaurant is in Hyatt Place. But has an outdoor dining area. They have slider doors which opens it to the rest of the restaurant. There is plenty of seating available at tables. But you can also sit at the spacious bar. It has TVs if you feel like watching a game. The food was excellent. We ate the Thanksgiving dinner plate. It was twenty eight dollars for turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, medley of roasted vegetables, and gravy. It was a lot of food. Everything was delicious and well seasoned! The drinks were ok. We each ordered a drink off the cocktail menu. They looked beautiful. I wish I could have tasted the alcohol more in my martini. The service was not the greatest that evening. Maybe it was because it was Thanksgiving eve. But our server was not attentive to our table. We had to ask for water refills more than once. She only checked on us herself when we finished our food and to ask if we wanted dessert. She was happy to talk the bartender about what time she was getting off multiple times and when the restaurant closed for the evening. I wanted to love this place because the reviews were so good, but it's mediocre at best. My aperol spritz was just ok. I ordered the rigatoni a la vodka with shrimp. It wasn't busy but somehow it took forever for the food to come out. The pasta was lukewarm and the shrimp was hot. If i wasn't so hungry i would have said something. Our server, Lacey was no where to be found. I asked for a taste of the rose and she brought out a full glass. Thankfully it was delicious. The butterscotch trifle was ok, not great. The drinks are perfection, I had to go back to eat their burrito bowl, which is divine because it's both healthy and ambrosia -- so yummy!!! The vegetables are "seasonal" and I went in October and last week in February 2026 and zero complaints about any of the perfectly balanced elements. Their french fries are delicious, the right crisp. I've sat on the patio both times and enjoyed people watching. I've seen many other people get a burger, and they're huge, so most people get the to-go box and take about half home. The meal was PHENOMENAL! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and paired well with the fresh, crunchy grilled asparagus. Interesting, cozy yet spacious and wide open, modern yet moderately unique and unobtrusive. Recently, on a date night before attending a theatre show, my wife and I reserved to visit Adams Table for an early pre-show dinner near the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix just a six-minute walk away. It was our first visit, and it was a perfect, comfortable early evening as dusk was beginning to quietly envelope the city on a beautifully balmy afternoon. We were lucky to get outdoor seating, having arrived just before the crowds and as passersby on their way to their fun and frolic evening. This neighborhood resto-bar presents contemporary style cocktails and some very decent wine offerings. I had their Passiontini which was very, very good. My wife enjoyed a fine Ferrari Pinot Grigio. And for an appetizer we decided on the Crispy Calamari, thickly cut like thick French fries - juicy and tender, with a mild enjoyable flaky coating yet on the seasoning was somewhat on the bland side. My wife's main was an incredibly designed presentation of a flatbread pizza called the Cup and Char Pepperoni with basil, enhanced by red sauce, Mozzarella and just the right amount of honey, was a pretty good dish. I went for the Steak Frites - of which the good sized 10oz steak was a perfectly marinated and excellently prepared medium rare, which was accompanied with their Jade Pesto (which was unsavory and considerably oily) placed upon really well prepared and tasty French Fries. My only problem here was too, too much salt sprinkled over the fries. Also, as we enjoyed dinner there was a constant annoyance of cars driving in an out the hotel's valet slots situated directly in front of the outdoor seating - with both yelling, loud talking and constant honking made the otherwise serene and cozy dinner not so much. We completed our meal with a tasty and well put together rendition of a Brownie Sundae - very, very good. At the end of dinner and dessert, being in the mood for a cappuccino, or latte, or coffee - I was directed to the Starbucks in the Hotel lobby area. Now that's a no-no! Their advertising of "desert chic food, inspired by a desert past experience was unfortunately a bit underwhelming and flat. Especially when you consider it is per se a hotel restaurant. After seeing a show at Arizona Financial theater, we stopped into Adam's table for some late night bites. The restaurant is attached to the Hilton Garden Inn and has a full bar with some specialty drinks. I ordered the burrito bowl, which was surprisingly amazing! Stopped in to partake in Happy Hour before attending a birthday party that was being hosted in the hotel. The ambiance of the place is very nice. However, we ran into several issues. I'm no complainer so the establishment was not made aware. First issue we encountered was the dirty table. It had syrup between the glass and table cloth. When I leaned in to speak with my husband, not knowing, syrup was all over my blouse and I was literally stuck to the table. Another issue was, we were handed our cocktails with no straws. When we asked for straws, the waitress proceeded to grab two straws with her bare hands. Even outside of a pandemic, that was not okay. When she approached the table and tried to stick them in our drinks, I politely asked her to go back to the bar and grab two straws utilizing a napkin. She obliged. The drinks were very pretty but tasted awful and I mean awful. Again, my husband and I do not complain so we drank them. More like chugged them by alternating it with water. As we drank the drinks, we laughed so hard because it reminded us of when you're little and don't like something on your plate, you eat it really fast. The food was very delicious! The fries were the best fries I've ever had. However, I was not a fan of either dipping sauce. The chicken bites were really good, but, the batter didn't stay on the chicken. The last issue was the stomach pains the next day with extreme diarrhea. (TMI, I know). I immediately knew we had food poisoning. The fries that come with the sandwiches bring me back to childhood, when going to the store to get Jo-Jos. We also had an app it was the 24hr bacon, it came with a peanut butter and jelly. We got a nice breeze and the outdoor ambiance feeling, but stayed cool with air conditioning at the same time. We stopped by for Happy Hour on a Friday. Initially, at 5:30 it wasn't busy at all. But there was a show at the Orpheum that night, so around 6:30 it got pretty busy. After a couple beers, we ordered the Desert Hot Bites and the Parm fries off the HH menu. The chicken was very tender and the chipotle sauce was excellent. But the bites were just warm, not spicy at all and the batter fell off. The fries were excellent. After a bit, we tried to order the Brussel sprouts but they were out. So we ordered the calamari. It too wasn't hot. It tasted good but nothing special at all. There was only one bartender so the service was spotty after it got busy. It's in a hotel and looks like a hotel bar. We had a 6-person reservation for lunch on a Thursday afternoon at 2:00 pm. We changed it to 8 people the day before, and were so surprised to find a totally empty restaurant when we arrived. We were even more surprised after we met our great server, Dwayne, and tried our food. Everybody's food was great, and Dwayne was very accommodating to everybody's specific orders, including me as a vegan! Several items are marked vegetarian and gluten free, and the kitchen is very accommodating to leaving items off by request. Everybody had a great time and we will likely be back! read more

Adams Table is adjacent to the check-in front desk at the Hyatt Place in downtown Phoenix. It's essentially a hotel restaurant and I'd give it 5 of 5 on the food & drinks and 3 of 5 on the service hence the 4 star rating. The location is perfect for anyone needing to be close to the stadium or convention center. They had this killer bruschetta that was awwww so tasty. It's a full bar so you can get your cocktails, wine and/or a beer from the tap. The dining area has these large retractable sliding glass doors that open up to the outdoor seating,. If you can try to get a table by these doors as it's kinda fun to sip, dine and people watch as folks hustle up and down Adams Street. Parking can be kinda crazy but here's a tip for you, there are a ton of parking meters all around downtown PHX and the city uses an app called ParkMobile. It's cheap and easy to use. It warns you 15 mins before your time is about to expire so you can add more time right from your phone. Meters are enforced from 8a-10p Monday through Sunday so get yourself enough time to make it till 10p and avoid paying the $50 overnight parking fee if you are staying at the hotel. As for the service it really wasn't bad by any means but I just can't stand when the server asks me every 2-3 minutes if I need anything. It was a little much for me. I guess I'd rather have them ask too much than too little but honestly every couple of minutes throughout the meal of asking do you need anything else while my glass is full and I'm chewing my food made me feel like I needed to hurry up and get out of there. Suggestion: observe and if it appears someone needs something check in with them otherwise let them be for 10 minutes or so. If eye contact is made then head over to offer your service. But overall l liked the placed and would totally return and enjoy the scene again! read more

We are staying at the hotel and did take out. I had the steak salad and he had the club sandwich. My steak was cooked correctly, the salad was fresh. His club was righteous, the layers were thin and salty and crispy. The fries were crunchy and tasty as well. But the day before, I went with my husband to try it out and I'm glad we did. The flatbread pizza appetizer, with its honey sauce, was incredible, but it ended there. The avocado toast was inedible (also, it was missing avocado -- it seemed to be an avocado-ish spread), and the rigatoni was bland. The brownie sundae was covered in so much whip cream you could barely taste anything else, and the monkey business mousse was just OK. And yet, with those dishes and two Diet Pepsis, our bill was well over $100 -- I left hungry. We went to POMO Pizza instead and that was delicious. read more

When my food came out it had a strong fishy/seafood odor. I tasted it and my lettuce tasted like fish. The odor was strong enough that the people eating with me could smell it. They took it back to the kitchen and there was no apology or discount applied to the tab. To be fair I didn't ask for a discount but the level of disinterest was rather surprising.
