Loved the atmosphere of this bar, very upscale feeling even though it's attached to a hotel. We stopped here for drinks before dinner just after a performance we saw downtown. While the bar tender was attentive, it took him a while to approach us. With so many performances happening in the theaters close to this establishment, they just need to beef up the wait staff if possible. read more

I was staying at the hotel attached to the restaurant and the concierge highly suggested the place for dinner. It was ok. Service was less than adequate. We were seated in some chairs that my dinning companion couldn't handle because of his back problems. When we asked to move we kept getting nasty looks from the host. Our server wasn't really helpful or nice. I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese which was really good, especially with the green chilies which added a nice kick. My dinning companion had the fish and chips. I tried a bite and was left with the impression that some chef decided they wanted to do an upscale version of macdonalds fish o filet. So not really worth it. So basically if you're staying at the hotel and you want Mac and cheese it's a good choice. Otherwise, don't bother. read more

Please, if you do not like working with the public- then don't. Do not be a server if you cannot provide even the slightest bit of friendliness. Had the pleasure of experiencing Adam's on Xmas day - had reservations and was seated at our table that had one setting and a plate even though there was 4 of us. Waited to get the other settings to be provided- never happened even as appetizers arrived. We had to grab from another table- btw wasn't busy so no excuse. Then she brought us our 2 appetizers but one was wrong. We just said we ordered the pesto pizza - as she walked away she muttered- no you didn't you ordered this. She spilled dip in the middle of our table, rather than wipe it she just placed an appetizer on top of it. Had to ask for refills on drinks - we clearly bothered her by coming in and eating at her place of work. And the food is the equivalent of an Applebees with the price tag of a nicer restaurant . No alcohol. A burger, a burrito bowl, steak and pasta- $172- if you decide to go- avoid the server with long, black hair, bangs, doc martens, red lipstick and a bored expression. Have been here once before when visiting Phoenix. Very decent food. I had the carne asada tacos which came with black beans and elote corn. It was very good. Of course had a glass of nice red wine. My partner had the vegetable rice soup and fish and chips. It was good also. The service was decent and it was busy. The ambiance is good. Outdoor and indoor seating. This place has a lot of potential but they struggle to deliver on busy days. The ambience is great and waiters are friendly but the wait for food and drinks is a bit much even during weekdays. The drinks we ordered didn't come with the garnish they were supposed to have. The food was yummy and on its own would be a 4/5. Dessert is my favorite part of every meal but there's was very lacking. Cheesecake was served in a cup and was super gooey and gross. Staying at the Hyatt this was very convenient due to the weather being 114°. I didn't have to leave in the heat. Breakfast is free and they offer gluten-free options. I expected $20 for a salad because it was a steak salad, and even though every place setting is set with a bread and butter plate, they don't actually have bread and butter / rolls. No roll to go with the salad. And then I got a dinky margarita. It was terrible. It was ABSOLUTELY horrible, and THAT cost $14. NO COCKTAIL SHOULD COST $14. No wonder the price isn't on the menu. This place was fabulous. I was staying at the Hyatt Place on my way through Phoenix and Adams Table was the perfect dinner after just coming off of a 6+ hour drive. I hadn't eaten all day and just wanted a solid to-go order to bring up to my room. It was super easy to order at the bar, the staff was incredibly friendly, and my order was ready in only like 10 minutes. The food was also phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and order the brussel sprouts and the classic burger (w/ bacon, if you're feeling frisky). It was delicious. 100/10 would recommend. read more

It had been a long work week and a few of us decided on a Friday happy hour and dinner. We wanted to try this place instead of hitting up one of our usual spots. It was perfect! The atmosphere was on point, the steak frites was terrific, and our bartender, Maddy, was serving up some fantastic cocktails! I had an old fashion and an espresso martini-- stretch from my standard Bacardi & Diet Coke. But let me tell you.. the espresso martini - *chef's kiss*. Maddy crushed it! Her drinks were top notch and she was awesome to chat with. Take a page from our book, step out of your typical happy hour spots, visit Adam's Table, and be sure to ask Maddy for an espresso martini. Don't try to go to this place before an event at the theater! We had reservations, we're running a bit late, tried to call and could not reach by phone. When we got there, we're told there was no problem and were seated. Waited over 30 minutes before we went and asked for service. The hostess actually took our order....another 15 minutes and still not even our drinks. No "we are sorry", no "we will be with you as soon as we can" not even any eye contact or any acknowledgment whatsoever. Horrible service no mater what their circumstances and terrible management. We will not EVER be back! We had popcorn, corn dogs and canned wine for dinner at the venue, but at least they had great service! read more

Went last night with a group of friends. The waiter was very personable but was very slow and when we paid it took 20 minutes to get our checks back. We almost missed our comedy show. FOOD WAS BELOW AVERAGE. My salmon was way over cooked and no flavor. My girlfriends steak was all fat and way overcooked. Not able to ask for specific cook temperatures. All drinks took forever and it was not busy at all. Way overpriced for the quality of the food. We are very dissatisfied with everything overall and people at the bar were beyond drunk and obnoxious. Delicious! A coworker and I just left from having lunch there and it was wonderful! I had the Impossible Bolognese and she had the Rigatoni Vodka pasta. Both were perfectly al dente and came with a delicious slice of toasted Noble Bread. Our server Dwayne was excellent. Perfectly poised, knowledgeable, and efficient. Came here for snacks and drinks before a show. Food was okay. Atmosphere felt like you were in a hotel restaurant (because it is). Food service was very slow to come out. Server was lovely. Food portions for the price were pretty small and nothing spectacular. We really wanted to like this place based on the popular reviews but again the food was just okay. The fries were meh. The chicken bites were good enough. Salad was underwhelming. Deviled eggs... you get 1 each flavor (half of an egg) SO the trio is really just that. The 24 hour bacon everyone liked. Shishito peppers were good. The presentation for the specialty cocktails was nothing. Not even served in a fancy glass.... $100+ for 4 drinks and some appetizers and we left hungry and again for lack of a better word.... underwhelmed. Server was very nice. There was only one bartender working for the whole restaurant and kitchen was very slow getting food out and we ordered simple fast things. I think its a hard pass from us on the future. The 24 hour bacon was worth the hype. The charcuterie board was also very festive and creatively displayed. The short rib was a little dry. For the price the service was terrible. We were there for about 15 minutes before a server came to bring us water and another 10 for our drink order. We ordered a bottle of the middle of the road bubbles and it took them about 15 more minutes to pop it for us. The food was slow to come out and the drinks were slow to come out also . I don't know if maybe our server was new but it wasn't busy in the establishment. We probably will not return. read more

"OK," just like the yelp star rating says. Made a reservation, though it's really not the kind of a place that needs reservations - even when we arrived it wasn't as busy as opentable implied; also didn't realize it's attached to the hotel, but that didn't make much of a difference either way. We sat outside, but I can't say I recommend that as the passersby were RIGHT there and there were several obnoxious people trying to Valet and parallel park; there are also cactus planters that are INSIDE the seating area, and hard to avoid if you try to move around. Our server was okay, but not very friendly, and it took a long time for her to get our drinks to us and take our food order, but the food did come out incredibly quickly. Got the chicken club and it was okay (are we seeing a pattern here?), but the patty was not very big and the side of fries was very small with an even smaller portion of ketchup. Somehow two drinks and two sandwiches came out to an outrageous $70 before tip and at least one of the drink's prices cost more than was listed on the menu, so I don't know if that could have been the same thing for the other things we ordered. If you want a quick bite and don't want to do endless research for a Phoenix restaurant, this place is okay (last usage), but for me, I would have rather saved the money and cooked at home. read more

The happy hour Brussels sprouts and chicken bites was incredible. So much so we asked to speak with The Chef. Chef Shawn came out and explained how to make at home. If you have a show planned I would advise you to avoid this restaurant. We ordered an appetizer after receiving the appetizer it took 20-30 minutes before the waitress returned to get our mea order. Once our meal order was placed, we waited and waited and waited.. We Eventually had to ask the waitress how much longer until our food would arrive because we had a concert scheduled at 8pm and waited an hour by this point. She said it would be another 10minutes. We requested our check and decided to wait the 10minutes for dinner. Figured we would pay for our meal before it even arrived to avoid waiting for a check after the meal. Once the meal arrived it was subpar and disappointing Appetizer: Crispy Brussels sprouts, not crispy but oily. Fried calamari, soggy however the sauce was tasty. Zona bowl, subpar, chicken wrap not worth ordering, bland, no sauce in the wrap, just chicken and shredded iceberg. Rigatoni vodka pasta was the best out of the meals, however my guest said the chicken tasted more like a frozen chicken breast would vs fresh, so the chicken was pushed to the side. A drink or two here before a show would be all I would stop in for. Overpriced $$ for slow service and subpar food. If you want to risk rushing or being late to your downtown venue this would be the place to stop. read more

Pork belly gets five stars plus and is amazing. All other food we tried has been very good and deserves 4 stars. We have visited twice in the last month and service was excellent on both occasions. The reason I am only giving 3 is due to management needing an attitude adjustment. On both visits we encountered minor issues that were rather odd. On the first visit we noticed all our beverages were $1 more than the menu price. When I mentioned it to the server she said she would have the manager check on it. I am guessing she did as the manager brought the check to our table but just slammed it down and walked away. Of course there was no adjustment to the bill. On the 2nd trip we asked to split the bill and I could immediately see a look of horror on our servers face. He said "I don't think they will, but I will ask". I told him no worries but he asked anyway. He returned with a full bill and said they can not split. I don't ever recall any restaurant that would not split the check. Easy fixes to these issues would change my mind about returning again. read more

I had tix to a show at the Orpheum and wanted to have a nice dinner beforehand. Adams Table is across the street, very convenient, so I made a 5:45 reservation before my 7:30 showtime. I read some reviews which said the service was poor, etc., but as I was unable to get reservations anywhere else, I went with it. Oh dear, the reviews were true. I was seated right in front of the bar but it took over a half hour to get a drink. When I ordered the drink I also ordered my salad dinner. 40 minutes after ordering, and after several pleading exchanges with my very nice waiter, both drink and salad were delivered. I gulped and scarfed, got the check while still eating, and barely made the show! Noise level was deafening. read more

I came in with my boyfriend last night on valentines day and when I say I was let down..that is an understatement. our servers name was Lacey and she came over and we put in drinks. not once did she check on us again until I flagged her down after 35 minutes. We put our food order in with a man named Anthony who was the only positive thing about our experience. he kept us updated on our food order and got us more drinks. Lacey checked on the tables beside us a couple times but never us. She acted like maybe she was embarrassed and therefore did not come back over ever again. I have been a server for over 5 years and have never left a yelp review..i will for this. We stopped into Adams Table before attending a concert at Orpheum. It was great that it is right across the street from the Orpheum, made it convenient. The atmosphere is nice, is not over the top but it's comfortable & the patio is nice during good weather! The staff is super friendly.. the food we had was tasty and the cocktail was on point. The only hiccup we had was dessert. I had seen on their IG page this delicious pic of a Tipsy Banana treat! It was part of the reason for going! Banana mousse , gramcracker crumb, topped with salted caramel, and Woodford reserve.... Yum, RIGHT?! .. well we had to take the desert to go; because the kitchen was backed up, and dessert took too long to come out. But when we went to eat it, there was no salted caramel. Fantastic location to eat if you are seeing a show at the Orpheum Theater across the street. Service was good, staff were friendly. The food is mediocre at best. My Adams Table salad was ok, nothing special, and the added salmon was tiny. Adding the salmon, the salad cost $20 for a small salad and a little thin piece of salmon. My husband ordered a steak salad medium rare and it came out well done. At that point, he just ate it because we had been waiting about 40 minutes to get our food. The smore's dessert was good, nothing special. Appreciate the menu being clear on what is gluten free and what is not. I would not make a special trip to Adams Table, but its the most convenient option to the theatre. read more
