The reason we chose Sensible Spas is because of the husband and wife team. You can easily tell that they are both hard working business owners. All of the other places were sales people, some like car sales people, but none of them were business owners. As a small business owner myself, I recognize when business owners take pride in what they do, and work hard in life. Seeing that was again the reason for our decision to buy from Sensible Spas, which I have to add was located the furthest from where I live. Lastly, I didn't expect them to deliver the very next day! All of the other places were telling me a week or 2. I was in my new tub within 48 hours of purchase! Thanks Guys!! read more

If you're in the market for a spa, do yourself a favor and go straight to Sensible Spas! When our family vacay got cancelled due to COVID, and there was no "reschedule date" in sight, we decided to look for a hot tub to bring a little bit of the relaxation from vacation to our home. We looked for months for a reasonably-priced hot tub- but websites like Wayfair and even Costco were citing 8-12 week delivery times and other hot tub retailers weren't even returning phone calls. Then I came across sensible spas. Called on a Monday inquiring about the kind of spa we wanted. The man said they'd be getting a shipment on Friday. Made an appointment to look at their stock and purchased on Friday, had an incredible, relaxing, gorgeous spa in our backyard on Wednesday. Sensible Spas handled everything- delivery, set up, training us newbies on how to care for a hot tub, and even made an incredible recommendation for a licensed electrician (Mario!) to install the line for us on the same day as set up. I only wish I had found Sensible Spas sooner! Many thanks to Bill, Debbie and the whole crew for an incredible experience. read more

When my family and I decided to purchase a spa for our home, we were a bit overwhelmed as to what type of spa to purchase. We reached out to several different locations. In the end, we found Bill and Debbie with Sensible Spas. What a wonderful experience they made our new purchase. Bill asked us some very relevant questions about what we were looking for and made several recommendations. After visiting his store, meeting Debbie (who is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly) and being able to inspect the spas they recommended first-hand, we made our decision. They quickly made arrangements for our spa's delivery. Bill and his team (who were super friendly and amazingly professional) not only delivered the spa but also completely set it up. They dragged it to the back yard, put it all together, installed the cover and lift, cleaned it thoroughly, filled it up with water and provided detailed instructions as to how to maintain it. Sean was especially detailed in this regard and made notes for us to follow--something I valued highly when it came to turning it on and "caring for it" myself. After they left, I found out my electrician wouldn't be able to make it for weeks to run the power for us. I contacted Bill and he recommended an electrician. They showed up a matter of days later. The electrical work was done fantastically with attention to detail to be as little an "eyesore" as possible. They were also much cheaper than my previous electrician. I can't begin to recommend Sensible Spas enough! Fantastic team! Great people!! Wonderful Spa Selections!!! They went WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND. They have our gratitude and appreciation. My family and I are enjoying our spa VERY MUCH. Thank you Bill and Debbie and the entire crew for helping us with this wonderful experience. read more

Best place to buy a spa! We did a lot of research, both in person and online, and Sensible Spas was easiest the best choice. We went in with a certain budget and Bill offered us several choices - below, at, and slightly over. We were very impressed and ended up getting the perfect one, and the price (including tax, delivery, removal of our old tub) came in under budget. We have a difficult yard to navigate with a hill and narrow pathway, but Sean and Kenny managed it on their own, and the entire process took about an hour and a half. Great staff and customer service. We very highly recommend Sensible Spas! read more

What a great experience with this team. Sean gave us all the Spa information we needed to narrow our search, and then the whole team kept us in the loop as to when deliveries and availabilities would be there. We got really lucky with our hot tub, something fell through and it became available. Just get your name on the buyers list and they make it pretty easy to get the hot tub you want. Delivery/product: The delivery was crazy fast, we actually bought it and had it delivered same day. From the time they pulled up to having the spa running it was probably only an hour, and most of that time was water fill up time. We absolutely love the spa. We got 4/5 seater, small but perfect for 2-4 adults. Been in it almost every day. Thank you! read more

My girlfriend and I drove our car right into their lot wanting to just check out their inventory and get an idea of the size and expense this investment was going to cost us . Deborah and Michael were an enciclopedia of knowledge regarding jacuzzis. I asked a lot of questions and both were incredibly knowledgeable and nice to me and my girlfriend while we were visiting their shop . We bought a jacuzzi that very same day. Debbie , the owner gave us the best customer service ever ! She's easy to talk to , great attitude , courteous and fun . We're very happy with the jacuzzi we purchased. We are recommending Sensible Spas to our family and friends . read more

I love my hot tub! Deliver was a breeze for this team. They definitely know what they are doing

After our usual spa repair service was no longer available to us, I checked-out local area spa repair services via Yelp, and found Bill of Sensible Spas. I called him about an error code and apparently-failed circulation pump on our 9-year-old spa, and he answered immediately. After hearing what the issue was, he told me that he could come out that same afternoon! Bill arrived as promised, and verified the pump failure. He had to order the new pump, but was back out only a week later and had it fixed in minutes! Bill was very friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing, and provided us with great, professional service in a hurry! Because of Bill, he will now be our "go to" guy, whenever we have an issue with our spa! Thanks, Bill! read more

We had a wonderful experience purchasing a spa from Sean at Sensible Spas. Mario, the electrician, coordinated all the electrical work along with the spa delivery. All electrical and spa installation work was done within 3hrs! We highly recommend them! Thx, Paul and Becky read more

I have had spas for over 35 years. I purchased my last spa from Sensible Spas. The sales experience and service was excellent and by far the best of my several spa purchases over the years. They did everything they said they would do and more. In error I told Bill my spa pad was wired to accommodate the new spa. When he delivered the new spa it could not be installed due to the wiring problem. Normally I would have had to hire someone to correct the wiring and then reschedule the installation. However Bill went to Home Depot, got the needed parts and got the spa set up properly. I was truly amazed that he would take time out of his busy delivery schedule to get my spa up and running. Going forward, Sensible Spas is the only Spa dealer I will do business with. read more

We have own a spa for the last 30 years so we knew what we wanted. It was easy to set up the appointment to view the spas in inventory. Debbie was wonderful to work with. The delivery was super smooth. We asked them to remove our old spa and deliver our new one. The whole experience was as smooth as it could be. The guys set up and explained any details important to the particular spa we had purchased. Would absolutely recommend this business. read more

I purchased my spa from Sensible Spas in 2016. Its a odd shaped Aquaterra that has been used nearly every day. This year it needed a new cover. One call to Debbie and it was on order and a short time later it was in stock and ready for pick up. Bill and Debbie are great. I high recommend Sensible Spas. They offer great deals and excellent service. What more do you need? read more

I cant say enough about how great our experience was with sensible spas in Livermore. Their selection is great and they have tubs to fit every need. Their staff is so knowledgeable and really helped us pick the perfect fit for us... they didn't even think it was odd when I asked them to hop into one of the tubs so I could see how the space felt with 3 adults. Purchase and delivery was easy!!! They set up an appointment to come haul our old dinosaur of a tub away and install our new one...and we didn't have to wait forever- we bought on Friday and installed on Monday! Their prices and service are so good... but beware, if you own a dinosaur tub like we did, and go in looking for just a cover, you will not be able to resist coming home with a whole new tub for a great deal!! Thanks Bill and Debbie! Our muscles appreciate you! :) read more

Owner is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The spa we purchased works well and looks great!

We purchased a hot tub from Sensable spas in 2013. It was delivered and and set up for us. All questions were answered. A year or so after or almost daily use we had a problem with the circuit board. I called Sensable spas and I figured it would cost $200-300 to fix. To my surprise they brought out a replacement board and installed for no charge! They really stood behind their product. read more

I've purchased 2 spas from sensible spas in the last 8 years (2nd one because I moved). Debbie, Bill, and Sean have been amazing, providing expert advice in helping me choose the best spa, recommendations on maintenance and always extremely fast delivery. Recently, my spa cover was damaged, due to supply chain issues, the replacement was backordered by my spa service guy for close to 6 months. I called Sensible Spas for help, Debbie and Bill worked their magic and had a replacement for me in less than 8 weeks (I still haven't heard from the other company about my backordered cover). Sean came over, installed the cover, cleaned the tub and my family is now enjoying our Caldera Spa again. For all your spa needs, I highly recommend Sensible Spas. read more

The main guy in charge(can't remember his name) does not have good customer service and I honestly would not give them your business. Find a trustworthy spot to get your spa needs other than sensible spas. read more

We could not be more pleased with our Sensible Spa experience. The sales room was safe. The salesman (Shawn) was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Sensible Spa helped us coordinate with an electrician to get our home set up. The process was exceptional! The delivery day went like clockwork. The electrician showed up and worked for a couple of hours and then the new hot tub showed up. Shawn once again knocked it out of the park by explaining the "do's and don't" and we felt confident we knew how to work the hot tub. We use the new spa almost nightly. The owner Debbie checked on us a couple of weeks after the purchase to make sure we were happy and if we had any questions. It has been a dream come true all thanks to Sensible Spas! DZ read more

I purchased my spa on a Tuesday and received it on Friday! Sean, was attentive, polite, patient and very, very informative. On the morning of delivery Sean and a whole team of professionals were there. With great care they removed my gate, electricians installed the proper power source and safety equipment. A team of men removed my old portable spa, rolled the new spa in, set it up, filled it with water and attached the cover and step and put my gate back. After it was all set up and the team left Sean stayed after, waiting for all the chemicals to take affect and the water to begin to warm up. While we waited Sean showed me how to properly care for the spa including allowing me to video tape him giving instructions so I wouldn't forget. This was truly white glove treatment! Very professional! That was 6 months ago! I absolutely love my spa. Have had no problems with it and it has enhanced my life tremendously. Great for aching bones, arthritis, and a before bedtime soak. Yes, get your spa. You deserve it! I highly recommend this company. read more

I just got a hot tub from Sensible Spas. They were great! Totally listened to me on the first call and suggested the perfect tub. The delivery and install was done perfectly with care and precision. Once again, Bill and Kenny from Sensible Spas put the 'awesome' in 'awesome sauce'! This is what terrific small business operations looks like! Polite, responsive, FAST....Kenny was here within an hour of my discovery of a leak. And these guys were NOT going to give up until they found the problem. Other places would have likely said, "Eh, it's a little leak, you can still use it". Nope! These guys did me right! Seriously impressed with the service, and Kenny was an absolute joy to talk to while we dumped/filled the tub. Extremely well done, guys.....HUGE shout out to y'all! read more

After shopping around, we decided on Sensible Spas. Debbie was incredibly welcoming and took her time to show me the different spas. After listening to my wants and budget, she showed me a hot tub that checked all the boxes and then some! We couldn't be happier. Purchased a used spa, and a month after use I realized that (all 4) speakers were leaking rust into the spa. I don't even use the speakers and they aren't even hooked up . But when orange corrosion is leaking into my spa (and my kids use it) I asked what they could do. I originally just asked that they replace the speakers-mainly to put something in the holes that weren't CORRODING , or maybe a couple hundred bucks back. After some back and forth this is what they thought would be appropriate. They want me to give them a good review FIRST, and then they give me the refund. I'm not ok with bribery by any means. Much more behind this conversation and they first said " we will not give you $ back". I would be cautious of this place. read more

Asked for quotes for cleaning, basically said they were too busy and the call ended. They were also rude via email. There was another place in San Jose where they were so kind and patient, even told me about some videos To watch on YouTube cause we were too far away for them to help us. Luckily, we figured it out ourselves. Don't contact these people, rude and waste of time read more

Was in need of a spa cover after 7 years and lucky for me they had one in stock that fit perfectly. Easy to install and no more weigh lifting to open the cover to use the hot tub. Very excellent personal service! read more

Don't call this company if you actually want service and common courtesy. I was told that I wouldn't be able to fit into the schedule until *maybe 2+weeks* from now, and that I was calling at the worst possible time, Friday at 1:30 in the afternoon. Strangely, most businesses are eager to serve clients whose spas they have themselves installed, but not Bill. After he hung up on me, I found multiple other options without the attitude and unprofessionalism. read more
