Terrible experience. I do not recommend this company…read more Before booking, I explained to Evan that our spa was leaking and the water level was dropping in both the spa and pool. He told me it was likely the check valve, required a $250 deposit, and said they would replace the part during the visit with the deposit applied toward the repair. When they arrived, they had no parts, spent only a few minutes looking at it without testing anything, and said they'd return later that day. They never came back. After I followed up, Evan was rude and said they couldn't repair the leak--based on the same information I had provided before the appointment. I paid the $250 in cash and received no repair, no testing, and no refund despite requesting one. I feel completely scammed out of $250.

We've worked with three pool contractors over the course of several years and would have saved…read moreourselves a lot of grief if we had found Hacienda sooner. Verbal communication was great, on the order of minutes to respond to texts over the course of the entire project (i.e. several months and not just until the ink on the contract dries). Unlike most contractors, let alone pool contractors, the contract was exceptionally clear and detailed on what was being done, costs, and TBD items. No surprises or misunderstandings. On time, on budget: obviously, they have multiple projects going on simultaneously, but they are well organized and we never had an issue. On a project of any meaningful size, things happen, but Hacienda actively identifies and addresses them. For example, they noted our booster pump could be lowered to be less conspicuous and fixed it. Side note: they did a really nice job with the pool equipment. PVC was painted to match the manila folder color of the rest of the equipment and it was all well laid out. We've recommended Hacienda several of our neighbors, at least one of whom is now building a pool with them.

We talked to a bunch of pool repair companies about resurfacing our pool, but we knew Pristine Pools from years ago when they used to do our weekly pool service, and we really trust Matt, so we picked them. We are thrilled with the results! The deck around the pool and the steps were also falling apart, so we had that demolished and redone at the same time. It was a LOT of work all at once. Matt coordinated everything and his team really went above and beyond. While rewiring the pool and hot tub, he fixed problems with our yard lights. Nice. They even noticed that our backyard gate latch was broken and wasn't closing properly as the workers went in and out and they repaired it so our dog won't escape. Didn't even ask. Just fixed it. Wow. Everything was done with care from start to finish. We highly recommend Pristine Pools.

Year-round swimming? Sun Pointe made it so!…read more My pool had no heater and I needed to fix up my portable hot tub electrical. I was fortunate that the solar company that installed my roof solar electric panels and roof solar water panels referred me to Shane. Closing up the pool for the winter? Not anymore. Shane installed a heat pump, gas heater, and pool cover on a reel and I now swim year-round since Fall 2025. For me, a morning daily swim creates an entirely different work day. During the winter, I use the heat pump and pool cover with the lower winter electric rates. During the summer, I use the solar water panels on the roof. The new 400K BTU gas heater is a little more expensive to run than the heat pump, but it is perfect and efficient to heat the pool when needed, quickly and warmer for guests. Previously I had no gas heater at all. I've loved swimming since a kid - I could not be happier. :) I hadn't used a pool cover before, but it saves a lot during cold winter nights for my early morning swims. Sun Pointe installed a great reel. I can easily and quickly pull the cover on my kidney shaped pool, and roll it up, all by myself, in just in few minutes - important for me to swim daily. During the summer, I roll the reel&cover off to the side of the house. An unexpected bonus: I find I use less pool chemicals with the pool cover. Sun Pointe took care of everything and did excellent cleanup at the end of each project. Next I need to replace the 1986 portable hot tub - and I'll be turning to Shane to connect up the replacement. Sun Pointe Shane and his crew: Tyler, Tyler, Dalton, Jimmy and Sun Pointe staff: Shey, Precy, Sherilyn were all amazing. I plan to update this post with pictures of the new pool cover.
