When a second leak appeared, they came back and fixed it at no charge, even taking time out of their busy schedule to help us. I'm truly impressed with their professionalism, honesty, and excellent customer service. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted others to know what a great experience I had. Preferred Pool and Spa Repair went above and beyond, and I would absolutely call them again!

Terrible experience. I do not recommend this company…read more Before booking, I explained to Evan that our spa was leaking and the water level was dropping in both the spa and pool. He told me it was likely the check valve, required a $250 deposit, and said they would replace the part during the visit with the deposit applied toward the repair. When they arrived, they had no parts, spent only a few minutes looking at it without testing anything, and said they'd return later that day. They never came back. After I followed up, Evan was rude and said they couldn't repair the leak--based on the same information I had provided before the appointment. I paid the $250 in cash and received no repair, no testing, and no refund despite requesting one. I feel completely scammed out of $250.

I'm giving four stars because the initial service and the actual work were great, though the…read moreadministrative side was a bit of a hurdle. The Pros: The initial communication was fantastic. They were incredibly helpful in walking me through the details and getting everything sorted at the start. The work they did on the pool was also high quality, and I'm very happy with the results of the service itself. The Cons: I'm knocking off one star due to some communication and paperwork delays. There were issues getting the waiver paperwork sent over, and it took longer than expected to receive the final invoice. I was also told I would receive a referral for a repair contractor but never heard back on that front. Overall, they do great work and the first impression was excellent--if the back-office follow-through were a bit faster, it would be a five-star experience!

We talked to a bunch of pool repair companies about resurfacing our pool, but we knew Pristine Pools from years ago when they used to do our weekly pool service, and we really trust Matt, so we picked them. We are thrilled with the results! The deck around the pool and the steps were also falling apart, so we had that demolished and redone at the same time. It was a LOT of work all at once. Matt coordinated everything and his team really went above and beyond. While rewiring the pool and hot tub, he fixed problems with our yard lights. Nice. They even noticed that our backyard gate latch was broken and wasn't closing properly as the workers went in and out and they repaired it so our dog won't escape. Didn't even ask. Just fixed it. Wow. Everything was done with care from start to finish. We highly recommend Pristine Pools.

If they can't fix something simple like their smelly and loud truck I'm not trusting them with my hard earned money to fix my pool. Very ghetto. Even if there were quality was amazing which I doubt, I'd still personally rather spend my money with somebody that keeps everything in tact including their promotional work vehicles, those are the people that you know care about their craft. Things like maintenance are the bare minimum effort. Pay attention to things like that and you'll realize it says a lot. Clearly pristine pools are the kind of people that just take your money... They do good work but their pricing is unrealistic and not in line with any others I have used…read more The will not do an ounce more work than the minimum without billing for it. Beyond base pricing (and chlorine), they bill for most necessary chemicals separately. This happens multiple times a month so expect an extra $35-$70 on your bill. Don't forget required filter cleanings at an exorbitant price. I would look around for a place that won't nickel and dime you. Also, $220 a month for a service (mid level package) that does not even clean leaves from the pool is outrageous.

Holy Smokes, that's one of the lowest electricity bills I think I've ever received. I credit the Pentair Intelliflow and the LED light bulbs and motion sensor switches that I installed in our 3700 square foot house for that low bill. Year-round swimming? Sun Pointe made it so!…read more My pool had no heater and I needed to fix up my portable hot tub electrical. I was fortunate that the solar company that installed my roof solar electric panels and roof solar water panels referred me to Shane. Closing up the pool for the winter? Not anymore. Shane installed a heat pump, gas heater, and pool cover on a reel and I now swim year-round since Fall 2025. For me, a morning daily swim creates an entirely different work day. During the winter, I use the heat pump and pool cover with the lower winter electric rates. During the summer, I use the solar water panels on the roof. The new 400K BTU gas heater is a little more expensive to run than the heat pump, but it is perfect and efficient to heat the pool when needed, quickly and warmer for guests. Previously I had no gas heater at all. I've loved swimming since a kid - I could not be happier. :) I hadn't used a pool cover before, but it saves a lot during cold winter nights for my early morning swims. Sun Pointe installed a great reel. I can easily and quickly pull the cover on my kidney shaped pool, and roll it up, all by myself, in just in few minutes - important for me to swim daily. During the summer, I roll the reel&cover off to the side of the house. An unexpected bonus: I find I use less pool chemicals with the pool cover. Sun Pointe took care of everything and did excellent cleanup at the end of each project. Next I need to replace the 1986 portable hot tub - and I'll be turning to Shane to connect up the replacement. Sun Pointe Shane and his crew: Tyler, Tyler, Dalton, Jimmy and Sun Pointe staff: Shey, Precy, Sherilyn were all amazing. I plan to update this post with pictures of the new pool cover.
