I can't recommend Nino and Quality Pools enough. I've gone thru many pool contractors and have had…read moresome bad experiences. Nino was prompt, professional and a man of his word. Note, he is a perfectionist but in a good way. I wanted to install a pool heater so I can use my pool year round. He immediately told me he wouldn't take the job if he couldn't do it right and fix the configuration of the plumbing which was causing suction issues. He even painted my old plumbing so it would look integrated with the new plumbing. His quote was more than reasonable and very fair given the scope of work. He even came by 2 more times as I had issues with my pool automation and he made some final adjustments and now everything works perfectly. Now I can use my pool all year round! Everything about the experience was top notch and greatly exceeded my expectations.

We could not be happier!…read more We have lived in our house over 30 years. There was a vinyl lined pool when we moved in. We have replaced the liner over the years but finding anyone to work on it has been impossible. We decided to replace it with a gunite liner. We got estimates from three companies, including elite pools. We were very impressed with Alex's knowledge and the manner in which he explained the process. Alex and the people he used were very professional and polite. We were very impressed with the way the work was done. They started with a demolition of the old liner. They then used rebar to frame in the new pool. They filled it with gunite . Alex directed us to a tile shop to select the coping and pool tile. He then brought by samples of the pebble that would be used to line the pool. They installed the tile and coping and then the pebble. Watching the process for the installation of the pebble was interesting. We had no idea what the process involved. Alex and his employees did a great job of cleaning up after they had completed each stage of the project. Alex was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated as things progressed. He even referred us to a pool company to help get the pool up and running when our normal pool service could not be reached. We felt that elite pool provided a good product for the cost. We would not hesitate to refer them to any friends or family.

They were incredibly helpful in walking me through the details and getting everything sorted at the start. The work they did on the pool was also high quality, and I'm very happy with the results of the service itself. The Cons: I'm knocking off one star due to some communication and paperwork delays. There were issues getting the waiver paperwork sent over, and it took longer than expected to receive the final invoice. I was also told I would receive a referral for a repair contractor but never heard back on that front. Overall, they do great work and the first impression was excellent--if the back-office follow-through were a bit faster, it would be a five-star experience!

We've worked with three pool contractors over the course of several years and would have saved…read moreourselves a lot of grief if we had found Hacienda sooner. Verbal communication was great, on the order of minutes to respond to texts over the course of the entire project (i.e. several months and not just until the ink on the contract dries). Unlike most contractors, let alone pool contractors, the contract was exceptionally clear and detailed on what was being done, costs, and TBD items. No surprises or misunderstandings. On time, on budget: obviously, they have multiple projects going on simultaneously, but they are well organized and we never had an issue. On a project of any meaningful size, things happen, but Hacienda actively identifies and addresses them. For example, they noted our booster pump could be lowered to be less conspicuous and fixed it. Side note: they did a really nice job with the pool equipment. PVC was painted to match the manila folder color of the rest of the equipment and it was all well laid out. We've recommended Hacienda several of our neighbors, at least one of whom is now building a pool with them.

I've had a lot of pool people taking care of my pool through the years and Fernando is the best. he is a magician with the chemicals and the balancing and the clarity. I've had my pool for 26 years and haven't had anybody consistently keep it as nice as fernando. He also helps keep all of the equipment up and running. Let's be honest, stuff breaks over time and Fernando has connections for new or good quality used replacement parts and he can handle it. He's not somebody you need to watch over or check behind, he really does take good care of your pool. On top of that, if you need help with other areas like your cement deck needs repairing, or your equipment needs updating, he has the connections to help you get it done. He's also really good with communication. Text, or email or call and he gets right back to you. All I can say is if you value reliable high quality consistent service , he's totally totally worth it. I've had cheaper, but none better. If this referral prompts you to call him, tell him you saw Michael's referral and wanted to check him out. I don't get paid anything but I like to support local small businesses and I want them to know I'm doing what I can for him.

They do good work but their pricing is unrealistic and not in line with any others I have used…read more The will not do an ounce more work than the minimum without billing for it. Beyond base pricing (and chlorine), they bill for most necessary chemicals separately. This happens multiple times a month so expect an extra $35-$70 on your bill. Don't forget required filter cleanings at an exorbitant price. I would look around for a place that won't nickel and dime you. Also, $220 a month for a service (mid level package) that does not even clean leaves from the pool is outrageous.
