We switched to this pool service company after months of a less-stellar company. Within two days, our pool was back to its sparkling self. The owner, manager, and techs have been very responsible and professional. I ditched my last company when my pool was green and I asked the owner if a filter cleaning would help- he replied, "should WE clean the filter?" I called around to originally get a quote for a pool service. I spoke with Brad His quote was high. I found another company, and then later he lowered his price, but I had already committed to going with the other company. The company I went with did recommend him for shutting down our pool solar because they don't do that service. I initially texted him and he said he could help me. But when I pressed him for prices, he would never respond. I must've texted him three or maybe four times and could never get an answer. I don't understand such poor customer service. We recently bought a new house and did not keep up with the pool maintenance while we were preparing to move in (our bad), resulting in our pool becoming a vibrant green. My husband reached out to Summit and met with Brad. Brad seemed very knowledgeable, and walked my husband through the system and the work that would need to be done on the pool. He said they would start doing the deep clean the following Monday, but nobody ever showed. My husband called three times and left messages twice and e-mailed, but no one ever got back to him. It was extremely disappointing that they dropped the ball like this given that Brad himself said we needed to get the work done as soon as possible, and the pool did get noticeably worse while we were trying to figure out what was going on with Summit. We ended up having to go to someone else, who luckily was able to start quickly before the pool could get any worse. read more

We have been receiving service from Summit Pool & Spa for several years. For the first 6 months we received good and reliable service. After that, it would be employees that were at our house for literally minutes at each appointment. We had our billing on an auto pay through our bank. One day, we received an email saying we owed Summit over $1,200. We asked Brad to show us how that is possible, and after several months, Brad said he thought it was closer to $750. This was due to Bill pay checks that were sent to Summit, but they were not being cashed in time. We paid the $750. During this time, the service continued as usual, which was not great. Throughout the last 6 months of service, I spoke with several of Summits' employees and got a behind the scenes look on how the business was being run by Brad. The information I got was not good. Total lack of organization, many customers not happy, billing issues with many clients, mail not being opened. Overall, terrible communication. In fact, we would receive a weekly email with our pool & spa conditions. It was pretty obvious it was just a copy and paste each week. Things just weren't true in the report, like saying they emptied the pool sweep when the pool sweep wasn't even in the pool for several months, due to a pool sweep motor issue. Lastly, just this week, in the middle of August 2023, we noticed the pool wasn't looking so good. We checked our "status" report emails and noticed the last email from Summit was 07/26/2023. We reached out to Brad to find out what was going on. 4 days later, we received an email from Brad saying they are no longer serving the area we live in. Again, communication is horrible. read more

Summit Pool & Spa is a fantastic local company. They are incredibly responsive and take care in their work. They have learned all about salt spas in order to manage the intricacies of maintaining a salt spa and do it extremely well. They send reports with all of the chemical levels, always clean the cover and put on UV protectant, are friendly, and knowledgeable. They recommend that I purchase products rather than overcharging me by buying them and selling them with a markup, and they are always looking out to make sure the parts are pristine. There are some rusting jets in the tub and they have been working with us to help get them replaced and prevent any further damage by adjusting chemical levels. I can't say enough great things about how detail oriented and helpful these guys are! read more

Unfortunately, the first time they were going to come by, no one showed up. We called, and they said someone will definitely come by tomorrow. Again nobody did and finally the owner came by on the third day to do our first service. Then a Bait and Switch happened unfortunately. They quoted us one price. For the first month, they charged up more because they said that our pool hadn't been maintained in a while which we completely agreed with but they only told us that at the end of the month rather than be straightforward and tell us the beginning. He explain that next month, the bill was going to be what we agreed on. Well, the next month happened and yet again, they wanted to charge us 1.5x the original quote. This is really unfortunate because the service was great. They would come by and after the visit, they would take a picture of the pool and tell us what what they did and how much chemicals they added to the pool. read more
