We were looking fora pool company to help us maintain our pool and I was very impressed with the reviews and ratings of Pool Whip. We hired them on April 2020. Everything was great, friendly staff, and communicative. Wes, the owner even asked us if we could give a Yelp review on May 2020, but I think it's too premature. I think it's better to wait maybe after a year or so. There was even a price increased during that time which we don't mind. On August 2021, we got noticed from Pool Whip by email informing that they "cannot acquire enough chemicals daily to maintain your (our) pool" and they will discontinued providing the pool service to us as of September 2021. Shocked but we understand. So we started looking for another company and in process we learn by asking companies if they have issue inquiring chemicals. ALL of them stated they don't have any issues inquiring chemicals. Makes me wonder why Pool Whip why they have issues getting chemicals. We think that we had a great relationship with the company and no issues. I don't know. I'm disappointed that they can't provide the service and I'm questioning about not "getting enough chemicals." After receiving a quote for $8,000, I decided it'd be best to check with my home warranty provider. Sure enough, half of the equipment that he suggested to replace didn't need to be replaced at all. Additionally, he said he would come weekly in the beginning of the month and after reviewing the cameras around the house, I verified that he had not been weekly at all.
