I would like to highly recommend Nino and Quality Pools. They installed a pool heater for us recently. They kept every appointment, was super reliable with scheduling and ultimately delivered a top quality install at very competitive prices. I especially liked how hands on Nino was, going over things and explaining everything we needed to do in order to make it right. Again, highly recommended! read more

I can't recommend Nino and Quality Pools enough. I've gone thru many pool contractors and have had some bad experiences. Nino was prompt, professional and a man of his word. Note, he is a perfectionist but in a good way. I wanted to install a pool heater so I can use my pool year round. He immediately told me he wouldn't take the job if he couldn't do it right and fix the configuration of the plumbing which was causing suction issues. He even painted my old plumbing so it would look integrated with the new plumbing. His quote was more than reasonable and very fair given the scope of work. He even came by 2 more times as I had issues with my pool automation and he made some final adjustments and now everything works perfectly. Now I can use my pool all year round! Everything about the experience was top notch and greatly exceeded my expectations. read more

We are so grateful that Nino took on our emergency situation we had with our pool skimmer that got damaged during the concrete demo. He was a little nervous to take it on because we have a vinyl liner pool, but because he seen our situation and knew we needed help asap, he did not hesitate. He got on the phone with his connections and found us a new skimmer that happened to be in concord. He left and returned within an hour with the new skimmer. Right there the trust was solid. For him to purchase it without us giving him money was awesome. Nino filled us in on how everything was going to go and the new skimmer and water lines are fixed and back up. We so appreciate Quality Pool & Construction & highly recommended "Nino"!. Alex & Shawnna Novoa read more

Beyond Grateful - These Guys Are Pool Perfectionists! After a nightmare experience with a previous pool contractor, we were left with serious issues--steel showing through the pool shell, a poorly constructed wall between the spa and main pool that was far too narrow, no autofill, and a general sense of disappointment. Enter Chris, Nino, and their extraordinary crew--and everything changed. From day one, they approached our project with a level of professionalism, precision, and pride that you just don't see often. They corrected every single deficiency from the previous job and turned our backyard into the beautiful oasis we originally dreamed of. Their attention to detail is unmatched. They rebuilt the problematic areas with care and craftsmanship, finished the pool with a stunning pebble-type surface, and then installed gorgeous white limestone all around the pool deck--which they thoughtfully sealed to preserve its beauty. The final result is nothing short of spectacular. Watching them work was like watching a well-oiled machine. These are not just contractors--they're artists and perfectionists who genuinely care about the outcome. And they're reasonably priced..Very fair! If you're looking for a pool contractor who will do the job right the first time--or even fix someone else's mess--Chris and Nino are the team to call. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They gave us a pool we absolutely love, and peace of mind we didn't think was possible after our earlier experience. This is one of those rare moments when 5 stars just don't feel like enough. read more

So about a year ago i contracted with Quality Pool and Construction to install a heater for my pool because I was burning out on my Peloton and wanted to swim year round. Nino coordinated with the electric pool cover contractor. That all went faster than a steep ski run. This year's project was the installation of a spa and the construction of an outdoor shower with its own tankless hot water heater. I will attempt to attach a photo. You be the judge... read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We recently hired Nino at Quality Pool to install a heater for our existing inground pool, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Nino demonstrated a true can-do attitude, tackling every request with professionalism, skill, and efficiency. He completed the work quickly, at a reasonable price, and with meticulous attention to detail. For example, Nino noticed that our general contractor had accidentally buried the pool's electrical light junction box, a serious issue that could have caused major problems later. This is exactly why it's so important to hire a skilled pool contractor who knows what to look for and can prevent costly mistakes. What sets Nino apart is that he takes the time to explain and educate you on why certain things need to be done a certain way. This transparency and guidance are incredibly helpful and make you truly trust his process. He also demonstrates great professionalism and integrity, he doesn't have cash flow issues where he's constantly hounding you for payment. Nino completed the entire job first, then asked for payment at the end, which was refreshing and builds confidence in his work. On top of all that, he went above and beyond: accommodating our schedule by waiting for me to return to town, and even assisting with a PG&E gas meter load request that our general contractor wasn't willing to handle. The project was completed thoroughly, efficiently, and with a level of care that truly exceeded our expectations. If you want a experienced pool contractor who is reliable, has a 'can do attitude' and genuinely committed to doing the job right, while also educating you along the way and showing professionalism you can trust, Nino at Quality Pool is absolutely the one to call. read more

We interviewed multiple pool companies over a three-year period before deciding to work with Nino's team -- and we're so glad we did! I wanted a local company with plenty of experience and the ability to respond quickly if any issues came up. Nino's team was fantastic to work with from start to finish. We did a full pool remodel that included removing the old deck, replacing all the plumbing, resurfacing with pebble plaster, and installing new equipment. Nino was patient with all our questions and offered great recommendations throughout the process. He was always responsive whenever we reached out, which really gave us peace of mind. The project stayed on schedule, and Nino's crew coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors (hardscape and landscape) to make sure everything came together smoothly. We absolutely love our new pool and couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Nino came out to the house to discuss our pool remodel and to give us an estimate. He was on time for our appointment. He answered all of our questions and gave us a couple of different options for remodeling our pool. He was very professional. He gave us an estimate within a couple of days of his visit and followed up to see if we had questions or wanted to move forward with his service. I recommend talking to him to see if he can provide you the service you need. read more

We talked to quite a few pool contractors and choose Quality pool to resurface our pool as well as replace the skimmer and waterline tile. The project was done right, on time and we are very happy with the results. We choose Adam's micro pebble finish as the incremental cost of pebble over plaster was minimal, and Quality offered a 15 year warranty on the pebble finish. In fact, Quality used Adams Pool Solutions to shoot the pebble. All questions were quickly answered over the phone, text or in person by either Chris or Nino. Also, no payment advances were asked upfront. They only asked for payments after completing each section of work. We were also undecided on the pebble color, and Quality gave us time until the day before shooting the pebble to make our final decision. If you are looking for a pool contractor that will get the job done right, on time, and at a fair price then Quality Pool is the way to go. read more

Nino is awesome. We just did a major renovation on our new home, and Quality Pool was by far the most efficient team we worked with. They work quickly, and they are very responsive after the work is done. Whenever I have a question or an issue with my pool, Nino gets back to me right away and helps me troubleshoot. Quality Pool will take care of you during the project and after the project too. Our new pool looks great. read more

We are very pleased with Quality Pool & Construction (QP&C) and their fantastic team during our recent pool remodel. We looked at three different bids and liked all the contractors and their experience. But, QP&C stood above the others for a variety of things including they self-perform all phases except the plaster, which was sub-contracted to a very reputable company. Nino (QP&C owner) described his crews' capabilities and shared previous projects and answered all our questions. Nino is a very straight shooter and we appreciate that. Nino was very helpful with recommendations and with changes we incorporated. Deb was our first contact and did a great job describing the entire process and the different options with our project. Chris was our Project Manager and did an awesome job working with us coordinating all phases and keeping us informed throughout the project. Chris was totally on top of the project and a pleasure to work with. Also, a huge shout out to Juan, who did a great job with the coping, tile and pavers. I would highly recommend Quality Pool & Construction. read more

I highly recommend Quality Pool & Construction. They are great to work with and do an excellent job. They did a major pool update for us about 5 years ago. Our pool is now done! We had four quotes for our remodel and chose Quality Pools. It really did not come down to price it came down to the representation of honesty and responsiveness. Alex was our contact for our job and he was great. Every question we posed prior to choosing our contractor he was quick to answer. He quoted a price and delivered on every point. If you texted him or called him he was prompt to answer and respond. Our pool was completed in the time frame he quoted and exactly what we envisioned. We wanted to resurface our pool, remove the fiber optic spa, and rebuild the spa. After searching around, we found Quality Pools in the fall of 2023. Nino from Quality Pools guided us through the entire process, outlining the steps, answering all our questions, and providing a very reasonable quote. He also helped us select the perfect pebble color and matched the waterline tile beautifully. The entire process went smoothly and efficiently, and the work was completed on time. Nino truly went above and beyond when the pool had been shut off for the renovations, but the day before my kids' friends were scheduled to arrive and wanted to swim. I called Nino around 8 p.m. asking how to turn the pool back on, and he kindly came to my home to get the spa up and running. Our project with Quality Pool & Construction spanned over two years, as the pool resurfacing was part of a much larger project.  Their crews were efficient and all work was done with outstanding quality. Nino and Alex were both involved at different points in the project and provided outstanding guidance and support throughout.  Alex even came to our house on Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend since we were having our first event in the pool and the heater had stopped working - this wasn't something they worked on at all but he was able to help out and get it running again!  Overall I highly recommend these guys.  They know their stuff, take great pride in their work and were a pleasure to work with. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. We started our pool renovation July 13th 2022. All was going to plan until the project manager Nino shared the concrete surrounding the pool was uneven and did not line up well with the coping. Lori then referred a vendor (Soane Vave aka Esaul) and that is when our problems started piling up. Lori shared he was highly recommended and encouraged us to utilize him as all construction would be halted until the concrete was addressed. Lori reiterated that she was confident in his work based on prior jobs. We didn't have any reason to believe Quality Pool would steer us in the wrong direction. Throughout the concrete work, we needed to raise numerous quality issues that resulted in did, multiple delays. First, Esaul and his team damaged the coping that was just put in by Quality Pools. They also broke an irrigation line during the concrete demolition. Esaul and Lori were insistent that the damage was negligible and that the leak we were seeing was normal condensation. Both were pressuring us to move forward with pouring the concrete over the broken pipe. Thankfully, we pushed back as we saw the puddle of water accumulate each day. After several attempts to escalate to Quality Pools, Nino finally came to assess the issue and confirmed Esaul did, in fact, damage the irrigation lines for the sprinklers. At this point, we lost confidence in Quality Pool and Esaul's ability to fix the issue and were prepared to have an alternative vendor fix the damage. LOR and Esaul continued to dissuade us from using an alternative vendor and pushed to allow Esaul to rectify the issue. He took responsibility for the error and reassured me that the work would be under warranty for 3 years. He committed to redoing/fixing the concrete if we had any future issues. Unfortunately, we needed to call out several issues with his attempts to fix the leak as well as the concrete pour. The work needed to be closely monitored by US and Nino. As the customer, we are not pool/concrete experts yet we had to raise so many issues that we would've assumed the project manager would have been monitoring. For example, after the first pass of the concrete work, there were numerous cracks and our project manager never called this out- we had to in order to get it redone. And of course, the re-work wasn't prioritized so delays continued. By February, we shared that we saw the concrete shift and the concrete come up on the perimeter of the pool. We requested that they come back to assess the issues. We shared that we urgently needed to install the safety pool fencing (we have dogs and a young child at home) but that the concrete needed to be fixed beforehand. Unfortunately, it felt like Lori and Esaul gave us the runaround on how soon it could be resolved. They continue to say they will come to resolve the issue, but continue to no show to scheduled follow ups. As a family with a young child, we need to prioritize pool safety and will probably need to get the safety fencing installed twice if they even bother to fix their work in the first place. When we shared our concerns, Esaul stated that it wasn't his responsibility because we needed more drainage in the backyard. Why was this not mentioned at the start of the work then? It is our opinion that we had a bad experience with Quality Pools because we trusted the referral they provided and their guidance on continuing to work with the vendor when we expressed concerns about the concrete work. Furthermore, when we reached out to share our experience with Quality Pool, there was an unwillingness to acknowledge that they held some responsibility for providing the poor recommendation to us. I ask that you think twice before utilizing this company as they clearly have gaps in responsiveness and resolution when things go wrong. I have concerns related to their business integrity. Reach out if you'd like further details on this project before committing to this company. We do not want others to have the same poor experience for such a large investment in their pools. Included pictures of their work after only 3 months. read more

Quality Pool and Construction recently helped me with a pool renovation, and I had to write a review about how amazing their work was. After their first day of work, I could tell that they were a very good team, the quality of their work was incredible, and they explained to me how to take care of the new additions, which was very helpful for my maintenance now. I AM A PICKY CONSUMER WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS AND RECOMMEND QUALITY POOL WITH NO HESITATION!!! For context I am a homeowner, including houses with pools for over 3 decades and so I'm well versed in contractors including pools. Having said this, Quality Pools has been by far one of the best contractors I have worked with. This includes a full house remodel, backyard and landscaping and pool remodels and builds. Unlike many other contractors, they actually are responsive in a timely manner, show up when they say they will, flexible in working with clients and you will not just be a number to them. They truly are a family where team work is prioritized including their customers satisfaction. Due to the rainy reason there were delays on our part because we couldn't get the backyard paving situation done until the rain had stopped. Nino and Alex would touch base with us but never pressure us on our delay in the backyard construction and once we were done, almost a year later, they were prompt in getting back to work and there was no price increases on the estimate even though we were the reason for the delay. I read all the reviews and I do have to point out that the one star review didn't seem fair to Quality Pool. We all give recommendations, both companies and individuals, and most times the referrals go smoothly. But sometimes the referrals don't work out but that's on the other company who does the work because we all can recommend someone but we can't force them to do anything. Once we as consumers hire someone (whether recommended or not), it's still on us to vet that company and if they don't do satisfactory work we should hold them responsible and not the folks who did the referral. It's like blind dates. If my best friend referred a guy to meet and we met and it didn't go well it's not my BFF fault.... It's between me and that guy. Again, I have extremely high expectations on whatever company I work with and I am a direct, straight shooter who strongly believes in ownership and accountability who doesn't mince words. And having said that, I evaluate companies fairly for their job rather than just blame them if another company doesn't do a satisfactory job. Also when we did have issues with another contractor (not affiliated with Quality Pool), both Alex and Nino were quick to try and help us by contacting and working with the other contractor in order to get things figured out and move forward. So back to Quality pools, they had great communication, follow through, honest, a treat to work with and an outstanding job in giving us a pool and had the fairest price without the nickel and diming compared to the other dozen companies we also got an estimate from. Even now after they completed their job, if we have any questions etc they go the extra mile to respond and help us even though there is no need to. Thank you Alex and Nino read more
