Alex helped us with new pebble surface selection and color, and orchestrated the different teams to demo, re-tile the spa, and finally spread the new pebble surface. We could not be happier! We have lived in our house over 30 years. There was a vinyl lined pool when we moved in. We have replaced the liner over the years but finding anyone to work on it has been impossible. We decided to replace it with a gunite liner. We got estimates from three companies, including elite pools. We were very impressed with Alex's knowledge and the manner in which he explained the process. Alex and the people he used were very professional and polite. We were very impressed with the way the work was done. They started with a demolition of the old liner. They then used rebar to frame in the new pool. They filled it with gunite . Alex directed us to a tile shop to select the coping and pool tile. He then brought by samples of the pebble that would be used to line the pool. They installed the tile and coping and then the pebble. Watching the process for the installation of the pebble was interesting. We had no idea what the process involved. Alex and his employees did a great job of cleaning up after they had completed each stage of the project. Alex was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated as things progressed. He even referred us to a pool company to help get the pool up and running when our normal pool service could not be reached. We felt that elite pool provided a good product for the cost. When I asked them to complete my pool or sue, they asked me for $20,000 and then disappeared. I was Devasted. I did not know what to do. I had already paid thay contractor a total of $60,000. After 25 years, we just has our pool plaster replaced with pebble based plaster. The outcome was gorgeous. Alex did a great job communicating and making sure we were totally satisfied with the outcome. Alex was super helpful going back and forth bringing samples and and selecting final design to communicating timing on demo and resurface. I contacted 4 contractors, only 3 responded. I had each one come over for a site visit to see our circa 1970s inground pool. I had rust spots beginning to migrate onto the old finish, and some other minor stains. I had each contractor give me a price with detailed costs break-downs. Alex was the only contractor to give me that detail along with a description of the work schedule. Alex was informative of all materials to be used in the new finish. His price wasn't the cheapest, but with his extensive attention to detail I felt comfortable awarding his company the contract. Any time I texted him, he was quick to reply. His foreman was always here with his crew and kept me informed of the work schedule. He has an amazing crew that was professional, protective of the surrounding areas, cleaned up after each visit and hard working. At this time of review, the pool is full, start-up chemicals are well under way, and I'm swimming again. A quality job done within reasonable time frame. From Start to Finish, Elite Pools has been a wonderful company to work with. I reached out to Elite pools, because of their high rating on yelp, to get a bid on resurfacing and re tiling my pool. This is the third time I have used Yelp when looking for service and each time I have been thrilled with the highly rated companies I have picked. Elite pools came just as advertised. To start with, the owner of the company, who goes by Aleks, got back to me within about 15 minutes of my request for a quote. He told me he was on a job site but would stop by that evening and take a look at my project. He came by, took some measurements, made some great suggestions and then sent me a bid the next day. I had gotten one other bid which was comparable but the person did it over the phone which made me a little uncomfortable. Based on Aleks quick service and great bid, I decided to go with his company. As his company was booked six weeks out, my job didn't start immediately. That said, we kept in contact and when his guys started the project, I knew I hired the right people. All of his workers were super friendly and didn't need anything from me other than an open gate so they could come in and do the work. Aleks kept me updated on the project and from start to finish, they were done in 6 days. I was looking to have a new pool heater installed, so Alex came out and explained my options and sent me what I thought was a very reasonable estimate. The installation was dependent on the gas line running out to my pool being operable, so he sent his team back out to my house twice to check the gas line, which unfortunately turned out to not be functional.
