We have had this company service our spa that we purchased from them. They have a very large turn over of staff. They promise to give notice when coming out and fail to do so. In the last six months they have had more than 3 personnel changes. Today the technician stayed 3 minutes and failed to do anything. I briefly called down to the tech and he laughed and said he took care of it. When we contacted Elizabeth of the office she said it was not true. We have it the tech on camera). I have had very little contact with the techs as they never let us know when they are coming as promised. Save yourself the time and energy and seek another qualified company! We have had our Metro since 2006 and it has been a gem. Over all these years we had only needed to replace the control pad ,power cord and the cover. The first 2 were still covered under warranty and the cover was weathered. Since then, Jose has been out twice. Once to replace a faulty valve and then to replace the pumps. Jose was so professional and completely knowledgeable and informative about what our options were and because of that we decided to not throw in the towel and keep our spa going! Thank you! I purchased a new Chelsee 780 spa in late 2023. Didn't get a chance to power it until early the next year so it wasn't in use for a month. After initial test run I noticed that a water was seeping out one side near the bottom. On closer inspection I could see the basin upon which the unit sits had filled up with water an inch deep and there are no weep holes to allow water to escape. This basin is about 2" deep plastic box and lined with untreated lumber which is now soaked. Others online have commented that rain water enters the sides and collects so this is a design flaw. Not a comforting feeling sitting on 240 volts of electricity. In addition three of the jets popped out during the initial test and when I tried to get them back in they just wouldn't stay. Seems others also find this problem with the clips and recommend heating and bending the tabs. I didn't read that step in the owner's manual. If you spend thousands of dollars on something you expect some sort of quality. Edit - after contacting our sales guy the company got their act together and sent repair teams and remedied the leak and the panel - a disconnected jet air hose that made out of the factory. After a lot of research and visits to multiple area dealers we decided to purchase a tub from Paradise Valley Spas. This is our first tub and I must say that the sales portion of our experience was very informative, low pressure, and our sales rep Dan was really great. He was knowledgeable and helped us make our tub selection a breeze. Regrettably this is where our experience went bad. After paying our deposit we patiently waited for their Customer Service team to schedule a site visit. After waiting a few weeks we finally heard from them and started the process of documenting our hot tub pad and delivery route. Our contact for this was Will in their Burlingame office. Will was very friendly but is, as he put it, very overwhelmed and behind due to a short staff. Will did not return calls or emails for a couple of weeks, at which point we threatened to cancel our order. At that point we contacted our sales rep to let him know what was going on. After several phone calls and emails Will finally got back to us and processed payment for the tub. The order took almost six weeks to fulfill, which was expected. When the time came to schedule delivery, Will was good about contacting my spouse to setup the delivery, but failed to confirm the delivery time as promised. This is unfortunately par for the course for Customer Service right now. They are difficult to reach, do not follow through on promises, and the whole team at Paradise Valley Spas pointed fingers at each other instead of coming together to problem solve. Our delivery did go well but the guys could definitely use some people skills. They were not friendly at all but they did do what they set out to. They placed the tub where is was meant to be and did a very good job with the handling of the tub, so I can't knock them there. My spouse wanted me to give a one start review, but I added a second star since Dan did such a great job educating us during the initial purchase. We will have to work with this dealer for the life of our tub so my hope is that things improve. If you plan on working with Paradise Valley just be prepared to do a LOT of follow up work to get your order processed. read more

When I called initially, I have to say, I was not met with the best customer service. I felt I was cut off when talking to her and she was abrupt when speaking to me. Luckily I got Justin again for maintenance. When I first met Justin he showed me what I need to do to keep my spa in top top shape. He wasn't wrong! I'm a brand new customer and recently purchased a Sundance Montclair. The sales process was informative and relatively smooth. The installation was extremely sloppy: despite clear communication that my electrician would need to access the cabinet to run the electrical conduit, the install team failed to tell us that after cover install, it would be impossible to re-install the corner piece of the cabinet. That prompted service ticket#1: removal of cover assembly and reinstallation of the corner piece. Issue #2 was an error signal which confused the service technician. Issue #3: the filter was easily over-tightened and stripped the housing- something the service technician told me he is seeing more and more frequently and should be communicated to the customer. Issue #4 the LEDs are failing. Service ticket #2 (for filter and lights) took 2 weeks to get an appointment confirmation, then waited a month for the service- called to confirm and was informed I had been automatically "unscheduled" due to a technical glitch. I now have zero faith that Paradise can reliably take care of their customers. read more

I'm not one to write Yelp reviews. I prefer to be direct and talk to people at establishments. That said, if something is very off I also think it's important for other potential customers to know. If you read the recent 4 and 5 star reviews most of them are about the service technicians. Based on other reviews I would assume they're phenomenal but I haven't had any experience myself. My experience is purely with the sales and customer service team. So far this experience has been awful after signing the contract (classic negative experience). I specifically told the person that sold me the spa that I'm going to them instead of Costco because of the negative reviews on Costco's customer service. In hindsight maybe I, and you, should have gone to them instead. I have to follow up the Paradise Valley team for updates rather than the other way around. If you decide to purchase from Paradise Valley, be prepared for little to no communication and constant delays. At least with Costco your spa will cost 1/3 of the price. Quote below from an e-mail back on February 3rd. Still waiting for our spa and still waiting for an update from the PVS team - after one of their reps committed to a follow up no later than close of business today. "David, your estimated ship date is 01/13. It takes 8 to 12 days to receive from Sundance. Once we receive we will be reaching out to you to get final payment. Then we will set up a delivery date.Right now, we are looking around the middle of February to the end of February to get your Hot Tub in the backyard." read more

What started out as a great experience purchasing our spa from Paradise Valley in Concord has turned into a nightmare. We purchased a spa that connects to a 120V outlet (and yes, that's what the contract says). They sent the proper power cord. The power worked to the spa and the controller came on but it wouldn't turn on the pump, etc. Turns out, they shipped a controller IN the spa that's 240V and told us it was our problem to convert the spa controller to 120V. Yes, the controller that's put in the spa by the factory. What?! Apparently, it's a problem with the factory shipping all spas that way. And now they tell us we have to pay an electrician (a special one that can convert spas) because Paradise Valley Spas doesn't do this? And they won't reimburse us. Unbelievable. read more

Our Jacuzzi J355 is approx 10 yrs old and Justin Hawbaker has always serviced it when needed. The heat sensor recently went out, and even though I had to wait a week for the repair to be done, Justin was here with a big smile on his face and ready to tackle the job. He was training a new tech, Phil, who was also very pleasant! In 30 min, they had the repair fixed. I know I can count on them to repair the tub & charge me a reasonable price. I had a refresh done for my spa and ended up being a complete disaster. I came home about 30 mins after the paradise employee finished to checkout my spa and it was a mess. The pillows were completely destroyed and barely hanging on, a loose jet was sitting at the bottom, my filter nets were left on my deck and my bromine floater was missing. I spoke to multiple Paradise representatives including Adrianna and Lina; both who would not take responsibility for the damage done to my spa. Essentially saying those items were "wear & tear" and they needed to be changed anyway. Even though I sent pictures a few days before of everything in tact and in good condition. I spoke to Daniel the gentlemen who did the refresh and he said he would get me new pillows for the inconvenience and fix the other issues. I called to confirm with Lina and she said she would call me back in the morning to verify. That never happen, just another email blaming me for the damage items. So now I'm left with a Damaged Spa and the worst customer service experience I ever had with any company. Stay away. I provided before and after pictures so you can see for yourself. read more

We received our new spa on Monday and had it hooked up by our electrician on Thursday. Filled it and kept getting an error. Called the service department and they were able to get a service person out the next day. It was a minor issue and quickly resolved. Jose was professional and explained everything very thoroughly. We purchased a floor model spa from these guys earlier this year. The sales guy gave us a thousand dollars off the price, plus a free cover and steps. When the spa arrived, it still had residual water in it, and the waterfall spout had scale stains on it. After we filled it, we noticed it had a leak. We didn't receive our chemical spa until last week. The spa tech who was scheduled to give us our demo has still not called us nearly 2 hours after he was supposed to. These guys basically sold us a leaky used spa for close to full price. Meanwhile, we're paying for all the water that's leaking out of it. Weak! Never let them talk you in the buying a floor/display tub in hopes of getting your hot tub delivered faster. What you might get is an old display unit that had water in it for years, that leaks from multiple place, has broken lights,, has water corrosion, and requires new multiple new parts. We have had to have a repair person out here at least 10 times in the last year to repair our "new" tub. it cost way too much for what we thought was going to be a new hot tub. We were shopping for a replacement hot tub. After a bad experience at another establishment, we were not expecting anything different. Dan DeBow, greeted us and listened to our wants/needs. He guided us around showing us the hot tubs that would fit our needs. We chose one but decided to talk it over at lunch. During lunch, we changed our minds. Upon our return, we asked Dan to show us alternative hot tubs. We found another one that we liked and Dan was so understanding and didn't even mind writing up a new contract. I purchased my Spa from Paradise Valley Spa a few years ago. Generally, I was very happy with their Customer Service/Sales Reps within the Showroom. The problem I had was with my Denali Spa, since it has had problems over the years. One major problem that occurred required the entire spa to be replaced, and months waiting for that new new spa to arrive. Now recently, the pump went out after 3 years ( A cost of $800 to fix). What people never tell you is once you own the the spa, what the actual cost will be to fix any issues that will occur. Things will always need to be repaired, but you hope the cost of labor and parts are fair and reasonable. In my experience the cost of repair and parts to fix this spa by Paradise are high. I had hoped that I could continue to have a relationship with Paradise Valley Spa and be an advocate for their spas, but unfortunately it has been a difficult and expensive process to work directly with this company. I truly wish this wasn't the case as I love to support local companies and wanted this to be a good experience. My main compliant with Paradise Valley Spas it that they kept changing their delivery date. We ordered the spa in December of 2021 with scheduled delivery date of April. We received our spa in August of 2022. I understand that a lot of things are backordered right now but the changing dates were a problem. Steve, our salesperson said it was the manufacturer that kept changing the dates. Paradise Valley was unwilling to compensate me for the long wait and changing delivery dates. Okay they did give me some extra chemicals for the hot tub worth about thirty four dollars. The delivery team did and excellent job and were easy to work with. Kudos to them. Jose came out and showed us how to work the tub and keep the water nice. He also did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and gave some good tips.
