We are very happy with All Clear Pools. When we have a problem and call the office they show up right away to solve the problem. They also always show up to clean our pool. Everyone we have spoken with over the years has been friendly and very accommodating. read more

We used them for many years, and they did not value our business at all. No communication. Never told us what needed attention. Didn't even respond when I gave them a 30 day notice. They just stopped coming. read more

I finally left this service. Here is an example why: I contacted them at the beginning of the week to have my pool heater checked out. We agreed they would send someone before the end of the week, and that person would call or text in advance. Nothing, so I called them, but their office had closed. I left a message. No call back following my message, and no call to let me know they would not be sending someone out (at $135 by the way, just to send). The following Monday, someone just shows up. I was in a Zoom meeting at the time, so I had to send him on his way. Then, the more I thought about their service over the years, or lack of it, and their steadily increasing monthly costs, and the recent example of just blowing me off, the more I thought I will just go somewhere else. Cancelled my service with All Clear, and have never heard another word from them, no apology, no attempt to keep me as a customer after screwing me over. read more

Well the sad truth is I had no idea or any exp with owning a pool. I do believe my pool is green now because they said they were adding wrong chemicals and I had no idea nor did they inform me of a problem. Long story short they don't do what they say, their techs don't do as they are hired, nobody takes accountability and they bill the heck out of you when you don't even know it. I say get another pool Svc because I have! read more

We've been using All Clear for 10 years. Very reliable and very good at communication. Always happy with their service.

Even after changing the pump with all clear pool and spas, the new company we hired, had to clean the filter that was totally yellow. It was apparently never done before. The pool turned green. Not expensive but too minimal, rude service and we were always responsible for what happened to our pool. But when you don't know, you expect to have some advices. What we didn't have. read more

I contacted All Clear Pools in January based on a friends recommendation since I felt our current pool service was getting too expensive. Talked to Marie who said Renee would contact me. A couple days later I found someone in my backyard checking chemicals. He said he was from All Clear Pool and the chemicals were in order (which they should be since we have weekly service). Told him I wanted to start in Feb as current service would be terminated at the end of the month. Never heard anything. Called office again and was told Renee would call. Received an email from the company stating we had a broken valve which would cost $100 to repair. Also wanted $300 to deep clean the pool!! I emailed back no problem with valve repair but did take issue with the deep clean and sent him the weekly report from my current company stating the pool was clean and chemicals at correct levels. Never received a response. Needless to say, going with another company. Also wondering if there really is someone there named Renee. read more

This company has been taking care of our pool and equipment for 16 years. They respond quickly when there is an issue- for example two nights ago I turned on my spa. Ten minutes later I look outside to see water everywhere spewing out of my equipment area and the spa is EMPTY ! I call All Clear and leave a voice message- they are out at my house the next morning at 8 or 8:30. I am glad I can depend on this company. read more

I've known Klaus and All Clear Pools for over 20 years. I worked for All Clear Pools at one point and ended up with my own pool business specializing in koi ponds, swimming pools and water features. Klaus has always been supportive of anyone else in the pool business and twice while I was unable to service my accounts because of medical issues Klaus and his crew stepped in and covered for me while I recuperated. Ongoing, All Clear Pools has been my go to company for difficult repair jobs and routine equipment replacements.... always charging myself and my clients a fair price for work done. Klaus is a no nonsense kind of guy and not everyone appreciates that personality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All Clear Pools to anyone with a swimming pool or water feature and will continue to depend on All Clear Pools for outstanding pool service and equipment repairs. read more

I was very disappointed that this company refused to come out to teach me how to turn my pool on. I only live half a mile away and i would have paid for the consult.. plus I tip very well. ...more than frustrating! read more

We put in our Swimming Pool about 10 years ago. " All Clear Pools " has been servicing our pool from the beginning. Jose has been our guy maintaining the pool for the last couple of years. He does a great job. He is reliable, professional & always keeps our water looking perfect. He does a beautiful job. read more

If I could give less than one star. I would. Had an issue with my pool/spa heater for over a month. Contacted the company about it, problem is not fixed still. And if you try to leave a message or email them, you will most definitely not get a response. Most recently, I spoke to the owner of the company about the services I am getting. if you like being lied to and your time being wasted and accused by the owner of the business then this is the place to go. After the conversation, they told me to find a new company to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this business to even my worst enemy. What a joke. read more

This review is specifically for John who works there. He is great to work with explains what he is doing and how to use your equipment. Only does the service/repairs that are needed. Did 4 stars because others there aren't as good as John. So I would specifically ask for John if you need service/repairs to your pool. Gary Y read more

I just wanted to pass along my sincere thanks for some amazing service that I just received from you. I have been a customer for about 30 years and have always been happy with your service. Last week I called about buying a new pool sweep that would not spray water out of my pool. I was ready to pay $365.00 for a particular machine but was informed by a service guy (? cant remember his name) that after checking my records, told me that there was an "attachment" that could be added to my Polaris machine. That part was under $50.00 and he came out the next day to install it. It worked pretty well but there was still a bit of spray coming out of the tail. I called and asked if it could be adjusted and was informed that there was an adjustment and that the regular service guy could adjust it on my regular day. That was done and everything is working perfectly. I am in a service providing business myself and just wanted to take the time to express my gratitude for your honesty, service and responsiveness. You don't see that enough today. I'm sure you will have the info on who this gentleman was, so please pass along my thanks to him for outstanding customer service and please say hello to Klaus for me as well. All Clear Pools & Spas has taken care of our pool for over 5 years. There have been only a few time when we felt the pool was not as clean as it should be. We called to complain and they immediately sent someone out and took care of it. We have three dogs that swim constantly so the issue was probably not even the fault of All Clear Pools. I have recommended them to friends and never heard any complaints! read more

We purchased our pool equipment from All Clear Pools, and we loyally used their cleaning service for 4 years. Tech spent 3 to 5 minutes "cleaning" our pool. They kept sending different techs who were poorly trained. The pool developed a bad mold problem, which should not happen if correctly balanced chemicals are used. The supervisor at All Clear told us we would have to hire someone else to clean the mold. When we questioned this, he told us to find a new pool service company, and so we did. We now have a fantastic company. They spend at least 20 minutes cleaning, and they cleaned up the mold mess left by All Clear at no extra charge. You would be wise to check other companies. Our pool is now spotless. read more

For weeks now I have tried to have them set the controls to rout the solar heated water into the pool. They say they did it - and yet it is NOT set and they refused to correct it. read more

All Clear is a sham of a company. We have a brand new pool and they can't seem to balance the phosphates or the PH levels. They blame it on the construction being done behind our house for causing the problems, but they knew we had dust problems from the beginning and never took preventive measures. Our pool has gone through significant staining while on there watch. I warn you now, do not use All Clear Pools.Their laziness has cost deeply. read more

After many years of service I finally gave up and fired All Clear Pools and Spas. Their service tech would show up and spend more time BS'ing on his cell phone in his truck than he spent servicing our pool. He would not clean the surface of leaves or properly sweep the pool. We had mold problems. They did nothing to cure the problem. I would call to complain and the response was condescending and rude. We found another pool servicing company that does fantastic work. I suspect it's because the owner does all the work himself. He answers all my questions and promptly takes care of any issues I might have. You can't beat an owner operated pool service company. read more

All Clear is a welcome relief from the many pool service companies that I have dealt with in the Lamorinda area. Their technicians actually know something about swimming pool and spa equipment. I needed a replacement salt generator installed. This was no problem for All Clear and I didn't get the runaround about "we only install equipment that we supply". Super attention to service detail like calling when the job was complete and working. Very pleased with this provider. read more
