He did not strike me as a salesperson. His quote wasn't the lowest, but was very reasonable. He listened to us and came up with a beautiful design for our backyard. He built a beautiful pool and jacuzzi along with the concrete work that had to be done. All the work was completed on time. They appear to be organized and professional from their website, but I won't ever personally find out because after two phone calls to the owner, I have never heard from them. I don't know why they couldn't just let me know they were uninterested. This seems a bit unprofessional. read more

From the start I felt uncomfortable with their contract.A lot of items were missing such as who is responsible for different items.As times went by for every steps Jeremy the owner 's response was this is not part of the contract, because on purpose he leaves those items out of contract to get you later.The other problem was they would not even show up for inspections all they care for is to get the money from you and promise a quality job with no results. My pool's plumbing is so close to the ground level that I can not even place sprinkler systems around them. Please be aware that your job is not going to be completed if you question or complain about their low quality of service.I am in process of reporting them for negligence and terrible quality of work to contractor's licensing board. read more

I can't review the work because we didn't use this company but I can review my initial contact and poor customer service. We had Jeremy come out to bid our pool project. He was on time to the appointment and took all the measurements. Told me he would get back to me with a quote and if I didn't hear from him to give him a call. I immediately, thought to myself I am not calling you to remind you to get me a quote. I don't feel I should follow up with someone who is supposed to be a professional business owner. I had a feeling I would never hear from him and my feeling was right. Never got a call or email back with a quote. I guess he's doing quite well in the pool business and can pick and choose which projects he wants to take on. We have chosen someone else to build our dream pool! read more

This company redid my pool some years ago (new plaster and coping, for many tens of thousands of dollars), and hiring them was one of the biggest remodeling mistakes I have ever made. The plaster has cracked in several places, and that began soon after they finished the work. The wall between pool and spa began cracking immediately, because they changed the spillway in a way that restricted the flow and increased pressure against the wall. When I pointed out the crack to the job manager, the crew just patched the grout between the gapping waterline tiles and called that a repair. That wall crack has continued to grow and is almost to the bottom of the wall now. I need to have the entire pool redone. The coping they installed was crudely done, and the mortar between pieces spanning the skimmers failed and had to be redone. The crew and job manager were disrespectful throughout the job. The crew stole all of the copper plumbing (over a hundred pounds of copper) that was set aside near my pool, having been replaced because the older filter and heater filter setup were destroyed when the Diablo crew turned the system on for the first time...because they had not cleared the plaster debris from the pipes. Just a nightmare from start to finish. Stay away from these folks! read more

Great company, great service. The bottom of my pool had a green tint to it from previous contractors that stained my pool deck. I tried 2 different pool companies and they could not get the stain out. I called Diablo Oasis and spoke to Jeremy. He recommended I drain and acid wash the pool. We researched for quite awhile before choosing a pool contractor. It's a very hard decision when you know nothing about building a pool. We were diligent when we went out and looked at the work of Diablo Oasis's and the work of other companies and their references. We were not disappointed and decided to go with Diablo Oasis Pools. We were very happy with the professionalism and communication we had while going through the building process. There were many details that we changed in our design while working with Jeremy and his crew. They were accommodating and helpful. Our Pool is complete and I can't say enough wonderful things about Diablo Oasis. They were punctual, knowledgeable and did an amazing job. We had five estimates for our pool remodel and Jeremy came in last. Very poor approach to bidding, superficial and not competitive.

Jeremy, was outstanding throughout the entire pool and hardscape project. He even provided consultations when we had questions or concerns post project. He was not overpriced like many of the other pool vendors and there were no surprises. We are 1 year post go-live with our pool and we went with the salt system (which I highly recommend) and have had very little chemical costs because of it. read more

Is there an option for ZERO stars? When researching pool companies, I should have chosen differently. If you are even considering this company, please reconsider. You have tons of better options. The problems began early. Their bulldozer broke pipes in my front yard and I was told it was my responsibility to fix them. There was an issue with my gate not working, which they also left to me to fix. They left my plants to die on the side of the yard. The problems continued. I was not consulted on which product would be used for the back wall. When the wall was halfway installed, I saw it and did not like it. I was told it would be at my cost to remove the work they had already done. Of course I left the product they used on (to avoid more fees and being wasteful), so now I'm stuck with what was arbitrarily picked for me. Then they did not install enough concrete for the pool equipment. Once they realized their mistake, they added plain gray concrete, not the colored and stamped that I paid for and have in the rest of the yard. It looks ridiculous. I was told it would be fixed, but it never was. Then the problems with the equipment started. I have paid twice to fix the pool sweep, which I was told was out of warranty for those types of repairs. Now the remote control is broken and it is also up to me to pay for a new one. This winter my pool and spa heater began turning on without warning, so I paid to heat them in the dead of winter. That was a fun bill to get. The remote receiver was never afixed to a wall like I have since been told by another company that it should have been. This company told me it would cost $900 to fix these and more problems due to faulty installation and bad products. Please learn from my mistake and do not give this company your business. I wish I never had. read more
