5 stars to my sales person ED MOORE. He was knowledgeable & helpful. He was a factor in my purchase. I will start off saying that I had two unhappy experiences with their competitors. They are poor business people who I do not trust. I was treated rudely by both. I could have had their tub almost immediately but I figured if they will treat me poorly on about a $6000 purchase (they were less than Jacuzzi), what will happen after they have my money & I have a problem? Jacuzzi of course is the name brand. I can trust them. I also trust Ed Moore. We were told that due Covid supply chain issues the wait about be 10-12 months. We waited a little longer. Everyone was polite & responsive. Robert, head of the delivery crew was helpful. We bought the J-315 which is a smaller unit. That is all of the space we had. The purchase was for relaxing sore muscles & not for parties. It was $9000+ when I ordered & $13,000+ today. The manual explains a lot but doesn't explain everything. That is where ED MOORE comes in. I visited him a few times & was a question box. Everything is functioning properly. The jets hit the areas I want them to hit. I know at motels I have found some hot tubs only focus on the lower & mid back & not the shoulders. read more

Notice that they are mostly satisfied customers who have bought spas and had them installed OK. 2-there are a few reviews of their repair business, which is what I needed. I will never contact them again. I have never dealt with a business that charge me before they provided service. They even charged me for labor! Furthermore, they called one or two days before they were expected, and gave no reason for canceling and rescheduling more than a week later. Update: My BullFrog spa cover zipper came open after just two years. Since I had a three year warranty I worked with the service team to get it replaced. Took awhile, but finally just got it. Had a great experience buying a spa here. Started with questions online - they reached out and helped us find a lot of additional info about models, inventory and timing. She also directed us to the Richmond location to check out different models in-person, which was super useful. We were able to handle the entire transaction via email with Philipe so we didn't have to go back and forth to the store locations. There was a small hiccup in delivery timing due to a staff change, but the team followed up with great written communication to get it resolved. Pedro, Brandon and Alex delivered our spa and were awesome! They got it into a tricky area just after some severe rain and had to deal with a lot of mud on slopes. They had the thing in, cover lifter attached and went through all the basics within about an hour or two. We've been enjoying our spa for about 3 weeks now and have been loving it. Really happy we choose to buy from PV - the whole team was really great. read more

When the salesman said that "they don't take credit cards because too many people complained to their banks and got their money back," it gave me pause. Our new spa needed to be cleaned after 6 months of use. We were lucky to have Tony service it. He was very thorough and did a great job! He explained the process while he cleaning it. He filled our water cisterns and other containers so we could use the spa water for our plants. He also provided good tips on how to keep the spa working better. He is very respectful and personable. When my J210 hot tub was delivered and installed, it didn't heat up after 72 hours. Nothing. I could tell the installation team knew there was something wrong immediately... but they said give it some time. The Paradise Valley Spa Team sent an electrician to inspect the unit and he said the model that was delivered had a defect, and although it was supposed to be able to run on 240V hardwired, that he had to switch it back to 120V to make it work. It takes FOREVER to heat up and I can't believe I paid a professional electrician to hardwire a 240V setup when I now have a model that only runs on 120V. Then, I received a bill from their electrician for $96.00... for diagnosing the issue that my model was defective. If anything they should be refunding me the entire Jacuzzi purchase not charging me because they sold me a lemon! read more

I've had my new hot tub for less than three weeks and it is already malfunctioning. They wanted me to wait for 2+ weeks for technician and I complained and they sent somebody out quickly. Paul, the technician was great but now says that he needs a part and it will be two or three weeks! Again unacceptable for a brand new tub. I have bought two hot tubs from Paradise spas is in the past 30 years and had no complaints before. Somehow the company has gone downhill, and I think have overstretched themselves and their employees beyond what they're capable of doing well. Unacceptable on a new tub. Daniel Lithgow is a terrible salesman. He hustled me when we got there, but we already knew we were going to purchase one, and ended up getting one anyway. I ordered my spa in January, with the intention of getting it early april. It is now June and I have not heard from Daniel for weeks about an updated delivery date. I understand supply chain issues, 100%. The problem here is that he most likely knew about the problems but kept overpromising because he wanted to make the sale. It's infuriating to have to chase down the sales rep every few weeks for an update because it's clear he can't be bothered to manage his own orders. He could be proactive and caring but instead just takes day to respond with a non-answer. If the company is experiencing problems, I would have wanted to know upfront at the time of purchase. This place only cares about making their $$ and not much else. Edit to add: I toured other spa shops and they were 100% transparent with the delays-They stated it was a year delay (Creative Energy, go there if you want honest salesman) and while it was dissapointing to hear, I should have gone with the because at least I would have gotten realistic expectations. read more

Before buying, my husband and I read so many horror stories about dealers who abandon their customers once a purchase is made, and it definitely made me nervous to even walk into the show room. As soon as we did though, the staff here was incredibly knowledgeable and nice that I knew if I was going to buy from anyone, it would be these guys. We chatted with Ed several times and he was so patient with us. He made an effort to explain some of the adjustable temperature features that are available so that hot tubbing could be a family activity as I've got a 2 year old who we'd love to have "swim" in the tub with the temp turned way down to safe levels. He even gave us some names of electricians and was very upfront about the current hot tub wait times due to the chip shortages and production delays. We ended up holding off on a tub because the wait times are so long right now that life in a year could look a bit different with the kiddo getting bigger and needs changing and all that. I'm certain that we will eventually get a tub though and when we do, we won't go anywhere else! Thank you Ed and team for being so great. My Jaccuzzi Whirlpool is gushing hot water and there is no way to stop it. After finding Paradise Valley Spas as the closest dealer in Nor Cal on the Jaccuzzi website, I called them at least 10 times and nobody responded. They have a 650 area code phone number. I finally requested a callback. I got a call back from a number from So. Cal (Oxnard) - 820 area code. BTW, I receive a lot of spam calls from this area code. When I finally connected with an individual, the lady said they did not service my model and hung up abruptly. After several more calls, I finally reached a gentleman who seemed more patient and reasonable. His suggestion was to go to the website and find a dealer. It happens that all the local dealers in Nor Call have the same number as the one I called...so it was no use calling the other dealers. Why would I buy a Jacuzzi product ever if nobody can service them? There isn't one technician on Yelp either who can help. read more

Paying 200$ per month for a weekly hot tub servicing, and when I noted to management that my security videos picked up footage of visits where the technician opened the hot tub halfway and dumped some chemicals in and left (as opposed to the list of tasks that's advertised), I was told that those counted as full visits. He was polite, friendly, COVID-safe, and gave me a good tip re keeping critters from hiding under the spa (peppermint oil, they hate it). Apparently not-I had the lid replaced once because all of the handles were ripping and here I am again three years later with all the handles ripping-should have went to Costco -same quality. I bought a J-215 jacuzzi from paradise Valley Spas a year ago. While the purchasing/accounting process was not seamless and there were a couple of issues that came up (like them sending me incorrect ship date and then asking for payment I had already provided), Kumi in Sales was good to initially work with and responsive. I have *loved* my Jacuzzi. My back pain has dissipated a ton since I got it. Just shy of having it a year, it stopped working (FL-1 error code). Within five days, Justin Hawbaker from the Service Department came out and the hot tub was quickly fixed. He was pleasant, communicative, and efficient. The issues with my Jacuzzi seemed to be some glitchy error so I'm a little concerned that something like that is likely to happen again. If it does I'll be likely to have to pay a service fee but for now at least I'm back to hot tubbing. I will update this review if the hot tub has further issues. For now, I definitely recommend Paradise Valley Spas. read more

We've just passed our 2 week mark of owning a brand-new Sundance Spa from Paradise Valley Spas. Everything about our experience has been phenomenal. Randy Metz, our sales rep in San Rafael was very friendly & informative, without giving pressure. Ability to have a Wet Test with Randy pointing out tub differences was key in our final choice. After getting our hot tub, I was nervous about taking care of it (too much/little chemicals, etc.). Paradise Valley eased my mind by offering a free Demo Day consult with one of their techs. Jody Krivohlavek was a fantastic fountain of knowledge/tips. It was great to hear best use tips that the manuals don't mention. Also taught me a bunch about proper water maintenance. Two years ago. I bought a Bullfrog Stihl hot tub from Paradise Valley. Beautiful tub. I love it. The problem is that Bullfrog tubs have a control panel that is sensitive to water but not water-tight, so we've had 3 failures in 2 years. Every time, we wait weeks/months for a replacement. Paradise Valley won't stock the replacement part, even though they know the part is tweaky, and once they get the part, they have trouble getting the parts to the repair person. I was to have a repair TODAY after waiting 3.5 weeks, but they cancelled TODAY because the part is still in their warehouse. I have to wait another week for them to retrieve the part and get it to the right person? Really? I offered to go pick up the part, but that was unacceptable to them. So I spent tens of thousands of dollars on an outdoor spa that sits there, hot and costing me money, but I can't use it. And no one at PV offices cares at all. I feel like it isn't that hard to do this a bit better. read more

I'm embarrassed to say it was 100% operator error (someone changed the language of our panel, then locked it). He even stayed on the phone with me while I added the chemicals to balance the water and while I tested the water several times. I had been hesitant to buy a jacuzzi for personal financial reasons. I would cruise in there on and off over the last 2 years eyeing the j315. Pat treated me the same every time I went in and was very attentive every time. I finally purchased the j315 in April 2019. My Jacuzzis birthday. It's basically my first born child, i love the jacuzzi that much. In addition, even after I bought the jacuzzi, pat has been super helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable about helping me with any questions I had about my spa water. The installation, delivery, and everything in between was all smooth, on time, and professional. Pat even sent me follow up emails and offered answer any questions about the maintenance of the hot tub water. Working with this business has been such a hot and cold experience, it's quite unfortunate and incredibly frustrating. We had a great experience in-store when we were shopping for the hot tub (surprise surprise) and even put a $500 deposit down on a hot tub during our first visit after having such a positive experience with Christian. After that, it's been a bit of a shit show. As of right now, it's been almost 3 weeks since we've given them a 25% deposit (couple thousands of dollars) and we can't seem to get a straight answer on whether or not our hot tub is even ordered, let alone an actual expected delivery date. Between the sales people at the store and their customer service over the phone, they keep telling me "someone will call you back" and then they don't. So frustrating. I had been considering buying a hot tub for years and finally decided to do the research and make the rounds of some of the local show rooms in the bay area. After Being disappointed with my experiences at several other show rooms due to pushy hard selling salesmen, I Was about to give up on my dream of purchasing a hot tub when I walked into Paradise Valley spas in Richmond and salesman Dan turned everything around for me! There was no "man-splaining", hard selling tactics, just friendly, comfortable, approachable conversation. Dan answered all my questions and talked to me for over an hour that first visit. He clearly explained the pros and cons of all the different brands they sold and sizes and options that were available to me and helped me pick out the hot tub spa of my dreams that would be both practical and affordable but with the right types of jets and water treatment options. I left after that first visit to consider my options and budgets and decide on which spa to purchase. Three weeks later Dan sent me an email warning me about a scheduled manufacturer price increase on the model I had picked out, not as a hard sell tactic, but to give me the Heads up and option To purchase in time to avoid the price increase! Working with Dan (the last day before the price increase deadline) he spent hours with me on the phone sending me text videos of different color and model options, helping me nail down my choices and to finally put a deposit down on a hot tub in time to avoid the price increase and guarantee delivery by late April! It was an incredibly easy and positive experience working with Dan at PV Spas without any upsell tactics and Pressure to buy. The other salesman at PV Spas (a shout out to Ed!) were also very friendly and helpful without seeming overly aggressive. I can't wait for my spa to be delivered and hope things are just as easy during the install process but feel well prepared since Dan gave me contact information connecting me with electricians and contractors to prep my home for installation in time for the Spa to be delivered! Their service center is terrible, I will never buy from them or use their service again. My spa waterfall needed service, other than that the spa worked just fine. They sent over a tech, and charged me $96, to let me know that the part was not under warranty. Right after the tech left, the tub started leaking significantly, to the point that the spa was no longer usable. The tech came back and fixed the leak, the next day they charged my CC another $96 without my consent using my saved CC info. Prior to the tech arriving a 2nd time I told them I would not pay the $96 since he was the one that cause the leak. I asked them to reverse the charge since it was the tech that broke my spa, they refused. I am now out $192 and the water fall is still broken. read more
