My Sundance Spa Paradise, Thanks Mario for getting me up and running again.
    Jeffrey L.

MARIO LOPEZ is the best damned spa repair professional. I hired another company to repair my spa multiple times and always regret and kick myself when I don't remember that Mario is worth the wait. In one short reasonable session, he was able to assess ACCURATELY the condition of the spa, which is 10 years old and recommend an easy and cheap repair that fixed my temperature issue. Mario is often busy, but well worth the wait.

We have worked with Paradise Valley Spas San Mateo for a year, from design requirements to completed install and installation support, this group has been stellar. The 19DTax Aqua Trainer with the Covana cover are the perfect combination. Our electrician installed the power to the house, and everything works flawlessly right off. Mario is like a wizard who takes on any technology challenge. When the cover had an error that was a new one for this team, he diagnosed and solved on the spot and it works perfectly. The right vendors in this space may be hard to find. It is not trivial to flatten Earth, lay concrete slab, deliver & hoist pool, install Covana cover, and prove it works before departing. Then we build pool decks & house access, have an independent electrician wire the 50w, 40w, and 120 with safe cut-off and intuitive controls and locks... to swim. Having a great product and an experienced team able to deliver it so all the other puzzle pieces can come together is key. Paradise Valley Spas has been excellent throughout. Professional from start to finish.

The guy named Mark has zero customer service skills, zero listening skills( I had to repeat everything twice)and showed me nothing except arrogance while in the store. I would never recommend this place to anyone-once you buy the tub, that's all the help you're going to get. Unfortunately, my 80 year old parents spent $8000 on a hot tub(he tried to insinuate. my parents bought a low end. model) with this company and I really wish they had gone elsewhere. I know my parents had "several" problems and "extra" charges w/ their install upon purchasing & today was another bad experience. People find another place to make your purchase!

Great experience from start to finish! On the sales side, Shari was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She listened to what we wanted and set up a "wet test" at the local showroom in San Mateo. She helped us find the spa we were looking for in exactly the right colors and at a very competitive price. For delivery and setup, the crew did a solid job. Christian, Kevin, Brandon, and Carlos were great. Helpful, considerate, and hard-working. They addressed all my questions and completed the job exactly as promised.

In place & ready for the electrician to hook up.

Very good service although it is a bit pricey and long wait periods for repairs or cleaning.

We purchased a…read moreswimspa from them, but due to contractor difficulties on our end, things went sideways - the spa ended up sitting on top of a concrete pad rather than being sunk into a pit as intended. Once we sorted out a new contractor, Creative Energy -- and in particular Alex (their delivery chief) - rolled up their sleeves and figured out how to move the spa off the pad while we dug the pit, then came back and moved it in once it was ready. None of this was their problem to solve. But it was clear they weren't comfortable leaving a customer in a difficult situation they hadn't caused, and they went well beyond what anyone could reasonably expect to help put things right. That kind of service is rare, and it's exactly why I'd recommend them without hesitation."

Not only are the products themselves incredibly high quality, but the experience felt completely different from everyone else we spoke with. Chris took the time to really understand our situation with young kids, how we planned to use the spa, our space constraints, safety concerns, and overall what would realistically work best for our family. At no point did it feel pushy or salesy. It felt consultative and thoughtful. Even after installation, Chris came by personally and spent over an hour walking us through maintenance, water care, setup, and best practices. That level of service and care is rare. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

We left Crunch after 17 years (well, technically it was Gold's before but you get the point) because I had a female stalker and Crunch wouldn't help me (even with restraining orders). I was wildly unimpressed with their non-assistance. We went to Equinox bc it was supposed to be nicer and it was only a 1 mile walk from our house - fantastic. While it looked nicer, it was not nicer. It's old, outdated and limited. It's stupid expensive. And the hours really, really suck. So after a year, we left Equinox and we were wavering on going back to the Bay Club or joining the Y. Our kids really wanted to work out and the Y was a great option for a family plan. So we joined for them. While testing it out and thinking we might bounce out to the Bay Club, we ended up loving it. They recently upgraded all the equipment to smart equipment and I'm diggin it! I haven't seen these machines since I was at an upscale gym in Houston a couple years ago! I love the price ($185 for all 6 of us, plus it as daycare vs $230/mo at equinox per person and no kids are welcome) I love the normalness of the Y too. I may make great income, but I don't want to be with the stiffs. I want to be where my roots are.

The one or two people that have the cans to enforce the rules are not around often enough. When they try and enforce the 'no telephone calls' members ignore or even yell at the staff with no retaliatory actions against the members. Several members lack any form of manners or common courtesy. They see no problem sitting around on the machines having 30 minute social visits followed by 10 more minutes of them, still on the machine, but staring at their phones (Lady Garlic!). Parents apparently send their teenagers here for free babysitting. Teens do exactly what they do at home: stare at their phones. And they take pictures, also prohibited. Other review comments about the lazy grumpy front desk staff are true as well but not across the board. Furthermore, there are two younger staff members that will initiate a long conversation with members who are on the machines. This sets a bad example. This is an AI generated picture but this is absolutely what you will see here all the time.

I had a hell of a time with both mildew or mold growth in my spa where I did a complete change of water and a deep cleaning along with a chemical cleaning of the jets just two months ago. Yet I was still getting brown flecks that were coming out the Jets and floating around my spa and I had really lost my patience with it. George contacted me back the same day via email with some very useful information and said he could make it out the next day to look things over and come up with a game plan. He said it sounded like it would be a two-day service where he would have to drain the spa and use a commercial jet cleaner one day and let the spa sit overnight, then refill it and super shock the spa the next day before refilling it and balancing all the chemicals. The knowledge he imparted to me about water chemistry that first day was beyond anything I had ever heard before and there were a few different reasons why I was dealing with the issues that I had. He mentioned there were no guarantees this would take care of the problem but he had handled spas worse than mine before and been able to solve their issues. I have been a spa owner for over 30 years but this new spa has been a real challenge and obviously my chemical balancing wasn't preventing the growth in the spa. Two days later my water is crystal clear and my chemical levels are all completely within safety levels. It's refreshing to find someone in their field of expertise who knows what needs to be done and communicates it flawlessly then executes on the plan with stellar results! I was so impressed with his timeliness and service, I decided to hire him for weekly maintenance on my spa so I wouldn't have to worry about whether I was balancing the chemicals correctly anymore or not.
