Martin and TC are truly the best - on all levels! Had a somewhat urgent spa situation that we needed help with. As first time pool owners we have really appreciated the excellent customer service from TC, Tyler and Carlos. After an initial chat on phone TC came over to look at our pool and gave me a run down on how things operate and what to look out for. We signed up for the weekly pool service and Carlos has been great coming every week and keeping everything on track with the pool and helping me with my various questions. These guys are truly superb. Our two pool pumps (running our hot tub) both stopped working. Both were only one year old. After a cursory examination, the company that provides us with weekly maintenance of our hot tub told us they needed to be replaced and quoted a cost of more than $3K per pump. I contacted a few companies to get a second opinion, but most of them either wouldn't help or didn't respond. Peninsula Pool & Spa responded to my enquiry immediately and from that point onwards I was in expert hands. TC contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and successfully made the case to them that the pumps should not have failed and should be replaced under warranty. This took quite a bit of work on TC's part. I doubt there are many other companies out there that would have put in this kind of effort for a new client. An even smaller number of such companies would have been successful in arranging a warranty replacement. Ultimately, Tyler showed up with two new pumps and quickly got them installed and functional. The pumps remain fully functional two months on. TC didn't have to go to bat for me the way he did. He saved me thousands of dollars. He updated me frequently about what he was doing. I don't think I have ever experienced this level of effective customer service and support anywhere else. I highly recommend Peninsula Pool & Spa. Cory to the pool rescue! Cory has been taking great care of our pool and spa for over a year. The water stays pristine, and crystal clear. Plus he uses just the right amount chemicals so it's effective but doesn't have that chlorine stink that sticks to your skin. Then we had a pool emergency- we power-washed our deck and TONS of dirt got into the pool. My daughters's bday pool-party was scheduled for later in the week. So I have been trying to do all my maintenance on my pool myself and when I went to start warming the pool up for the summer, I found my heater was not working. I called TC and explained my problem to him and he said that he would order me a heater, but suggested that I swap out filter cartridges as that might solve the problem. TC got me a discount on the cartridges and I got them installed. Lo and behold, his fix solved my issue and I now have a crystal clear, 80 degree pool and a couple of happy kids splashing around. TC saved me at least $4000, did not try to up-sell me (in fact did the opposite), dropped by to see the problem himself, and did not charge me for any of his time or advice. And he refused to let me pay any restocking fees for the heater that he ordered for me, and saved me a ton of dough on the stuff I needed to fix the system myself. I can endorse this company wholeheartedly and with no reservations. This is a company that can be trusted 100% and you can be assured that they will do the right thing for their customers. I was finally able to open my pool after this long cold and wet winter. When I did I was having erratic issues with my pool pump. I called Peninsula Pool & Spa and got in touch with TC. He helped me troubleshoot over the phone. He took his time to explain why I needed to replace my filter and then helped me find a part that was allowing air to get into the suction line of my pump. I have less than a week to replace the heater for this event. I have called two other companies, including Leslie's, who told me that it would take 2-3 weeks to have the heater ordered, delivered, and installed - I called TC and explained my situation, and he told me that he would talk to his team and make sure the heater is in stock.
