Sean was great. Very responsive and honest. He fixed my tub in a jiffy. I would definitely recommend him for service calls.

Berkeley Heat - Installed Fireplace Insert

Over the moon service!…read more We recently purchased and installed a gas fireplace insert through Berkeley Heat, and it was a smooth, flawless transaction from start to finish. The very first day we walked into their showroom close to closing time, Nick went above and beyond by staying late to walk us through the different models. He was incredibly patient and worked diligently to keep everything within our budget. The installer, Moises, and his team were absolutely amazing. They were highly professional, and the finished fireplace looks incredibly sleek! What truly blew us away, though, was their integrity. After the initial installation, Moises didn't feel 100% satisfied with how one element sat. Instead of just leaving it, he took the initiative to come back out and spend another four hours correcting it to perfection. That tells you exactly what kind of team you are dealing with here. If something isn't completely right, they have the conscience and professionalism to come back and make it perfect. They won't just leave you high and dry to rush off to the next job. I would highly recommend Berkeley Heat to anyone. Great prices, a quality product, and unmatched customer service!

Short version: they connected me to their preferred installer, sold me a Regency unit bigger than…read morewhat another vendor was willing to install, and the final result is beautiful and effective. Longer version: I actually started out working with another store (Penguin in San Jose) who did a truly spectacular job replacing an old wood burning fireplace with a Mendota gas insert, in another house. The other store was willing to give me a bid for our house in SF. Due to the existing natural stone opening being small vertically, they would only propose installing a Regency Gi25LE which is a beautiful insert but also super tiny. To get an idea what it looked like, I visited Berkeley Heat in person, and to my surprise they told me they could install the significantly larger Gi29LE by having their installer cut open the existing natural stone surround and modifying the existing zero clearance firebox. There was some back and forth with their installer; I also wanted to do this with permit and decided to have my own electrician do the electrical, and my own plumber install the gas line with a permit. (Their installer was not familiar with permitting in SF.) It took a couple months all told - and I had to do the follow-ups by phone to ensure we stayed on schedule - but the final result is fantastic. See photos I am adding.

I don't usually write reviews unless I've had either a really bad experience or an exceptionally…read moregood one, and I definitely wanted to give RH Tubs some credit here. I bought a cedar tub from them a little over a year ago, and honestly, they've been great to work with from the beginning. They were helpful, responsive, and actually cared about making sure I was happy with the purchase -- which, unfortunately, feels like a pretty rare thing these days, especially here in the Bay Area. The tub did eventually develop a small leak. They came out and sealed it, but over time the issue kept coming back. We spent the better part of the last year trying to figure out where the water was going, and they even sent technicians out multiple times to troubleshoot it. After a couple of attempts, we still couldn't figure out exactly what was causing the problem. This is the part that really impressed me: instead of making excuses or telling me that my warranty was over, they basically said, "Let's just replace it." They charged me $0 to remove the old cedar tub and install a brand-new one. Yes, RH Tubs is more expensive than some of the other options out there, but after this experience, I honestly think it's worth paying for the quality and, more importantly, the customer service. I'm really glad I went with a local Bay Area company instead of trying to save some money buying a cheaper tub from somewhere else. Really appreciate how they handled the whole situation. I'd absolutely recommend RH Tubs to anyone considering a cedar hot tub.

I haven't bought anything from them yet, but I have to say that their customer support and…read morepre-sales consultation has been just stellar! Hoping to get a tub, love it, and turn this into a five start review! Benny was super helpful while I am trying how to figure out what it is we want to put in our bathroom remodel. Thanks so much!!

5 stars to my sales person ED MOORE. He was knowledgeable & helpful. He was a factor in my…read morepurchase. I will start off saying that I had two unhappy experiences with their competitors. They are poor business people who I do not trust. I was treated rudely by both. I could have had their tub almost immediately but I figured if they will treat me poorly on about a $6000 purchase (they were less than Jacuzzi), what will happen after they have my money & I have a problem? Jacuzzi of course is the name brand. I can trust them. I also trust Ed Moore. We were told that due Covid supply chain issues the wait about be 10-12 months. We waited a little longer. Everyone was polite & responsive. Robert, head of the delivery crew was helpful. We bought the J-315 which is a smaller unit. That is all of the space we had. The purchase was for relaxing sore muscles & not for parties. It was $9000+ when I ordered & $13,000+ today. The manual explains a lot but doesn't explain everything. That is where ED MOORE comes in. I visited him a few times & was a question box. Everything is functioning properly. The jets hit the areas I want them to hit. I know at motels I have found some hot tubs only focus on the lower & mid back & not the shoulders.

The experience was great until something went wrong. Then, crickets…read more We were happy with the sales and installation process. However, in less than two years, the spa cover started deteriorating quickly. I don't think it's going to last through the summer. Customer service asked for a photo of the warranty tag on the cover. There is no tag and no evidence there ever was one. During several calls and emails, customer service insisted the cover manufacturer would not honor the warranty without the tag. An attorney I spoke to said this is illegal: I have the original receipt and Paradise does, of course, have a record of the sale, both of which should be enough to prove the sale. After I insisted, customer service ghosted me. I'm probably going to have to take them to small claims court.

The" soft tub" is awesome, it is light weight goes every where and plugs right in but the jets are just for filtering the water for the most part. 2009 bought a "Hot Springs" they make a very nice tub as well but I didn't like the jets, not enough presser, some times hard to balance the water and design of the jets don't come close the sundance. If you want a tub that is easy to operate as far as ,keeping water clean and balanced and has the jets--that will rock your world buy a "Sundance" The jets hit the right part of your body ,you can adjust them from soft to blow you out of the water, presser. Which is what I like. John was a very helpful in finding the best fit for my husband and I. Yes, you must have 220 which might not work for everyone but it is well worth it. I'm going in the tub for the third time today . Service so far has been great! ( if it's a problem I will write about it.) Delivery was prefect and they had a long haul with four sweet guys.
