As a realtor, I was in the process of prepping a client's home for sale. The sellers wanted to use their existing pool service technician to inspect the pool and equipment. His assessment indicated a heater sensor was bad and said he'd order the part. However, after repeated follow up from the client, he failed to follow through. My client was tremendously stressed from the overall poor customer service. I contacted Pure Pool Solutions, whom I've used in the past. My pool heater, Laars LX400N, stopped working with message Hi Lmt Sw. The heater is more than 20 years old. In 15 - 20 mins Gene found out there are nothing wrong with switches, 2 of them, and an electronic controller of the heater is the culprit. You can't buy such controller anymore. And it's a shame you might need to replace the perfectly good heater because lack of the small electronic component. Gene came up with a solution to bypass the controller: he rewired the system to let existing external Jandy board control the heater. That solution saved me a huge expense of buying and installing a new heater. And it was a pleasure to communicate with Victor. He is friendly, responds quickly and precisely. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Pump Master! I am so grateful to have found Victor. Our basin edge pump suddenly stopped working and I was not looking forward to a potential replacement cost, which I anticipated would be alot as most pool equipment typically is. After having bad luck with our current pool company (poor/delayed communication & chasing after them for over a month to get the pump fixed or replaced as needed), I called Victor and he came out the same day. After some troubleshooting, he recommended a part replacement as a first step so that we don't jump to a costly replacement option before we eliminate a potential fix first. The following business day he sent one of his techs who replaced the suspected part and that did the trick - the pump is back to working again! Victor saved us alot of money with a fix instead of a replacement when other companies would jump to a replacement solution instead. We have now switched over to Pump Master as a regular pool maintenance customer, and are happy to have found our long term pool company. Victor is honest and shows integrity.
