So glad I found this spa company! We first called them because we needed a new hot tub cover. Bill sent me a few photos of the color choices and I was able to pick the right one for our tub. They came out and measured and when the cover arrived, Bill and Sean were here to install and remove the old one. Next, I realized I needed some help with the water/chemical balancing. Sean came right back out, drained and cleaned the spa. He then spent some time with me to help me learn how to better manage the chemicals. I was overusing the chemicals! Now I know how much and when to use. He even wrote the guidelines right on my chemical containers so I don't have to go look things up! My tub has never looked more clear and clean. I will definitely call Debbie next time I need anything for my spa. Give these guys a call if you need help! read more

We have been in the market for a spa for a little while now, and stopped by Sensible Spas to see what they had. I'm so glad we did. Debbie was super helpful in picking the right spa. They delivered it the day after it arrived at their shop. Mike, Kenny and Sean delivered and installed the tub, and made sure it was set up perfectly, that we knew where all the controls were, and how to maintain it. Amazing team of people. Super enjoyable experience. read more

Third time I've bought a tub from Bill. Every one of them ran for years without any problem. First two were used, left the first at my last house, bought another used for the new house. Had a cattle dog that chewed thru the power cord and destroyed the lid, then found ratty made a home in it while it sat. Just bought a brand new tub, had it delivered this morning (Saturday) Bill and his wife went over and beyond making sure by Sunday night I'd be soaking in my new tub, especially since I bought it Friday afternoon. read more

We had an awesome experience with Debbie and Bill. Debbie helped me pick the right spa for our needs. From the purchase to the delivery, everything went smooth. Being able to soak in the hot tub each evening is living the dream! I am sleeping better. My skin feels smoother, and my body aches have lessened. I highly recommend Hot tub living! read more

This was our families first Spa purchase - we went with a Caldera Spa (Marino). Bill was amazing - we truly appreciated his attention to detail and taking the time to answer our questions before, during and after the installation. We are also very appreciative of Bill's referral to Mario (an electrician) who did our electrical work - very professional, thorough and reliable. Our family has literally been in the spa every day since it's been in. If we had to do it over we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Sensible Spas read more

I was referred by a friend because Sensible Spa was the best. They did not disappoint. I must admit I had a bit of sticker shock, but Sean was so laid back and reassuring. Smart guy - he convinced my wife and I was pretty much done at that point. Debbie sealed the deal with a few rubber duckies - we now have all our ducks in a row! Delivery was fast - less than a week. Bill and the crew did an amazing job of getting rid of my 20 year old hot tub and were able to wire everything up perfectly. The Caldera Spa is so amazing and beautiful! Unfortunately we had a bum controller screen which they replaced asap. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended! read more

Overdue review for a great experience. We can only say great things about how Sensible Spas has taken care of us. We went to the showroom in Livermore and shared our budget and needs and customer service was great. They accommodated exactly what we were looking for with extensive knowledge, and even offered next day delivery. We did not have the power set up for the tub, and they suggested getting the hot tub in place before electrician for the best installation, which made sense. When they delivered the tub (white glove delivery, not just curbside... exact placement, fill, etc.) they evaluated the power plan and were able to suggest an alternative electrician that came out the same day and saved us a fortune! So... if you want that same Costco / Home Depot hot tub for a whole lot less with the VIP treatment, do not hesitate to check out Sensible Spas... they will take care of you! read more

Our family was looking for a spa for our home in Livermore. We found Sensible Spas on Southfront Rd in Livermore right off the freeway. Bill, Debbie and Sean were incredibly knowledgable and helpful. We had visited other showrooms and went to the county fair last summer searching for a hot tub. No one had the selection or availability that Sensible had. Bill and Kevin delivered it to our backyard, set up the electrical and filled it in no time. Then Bill stayed with us to show us how to operate the pumps, etc. They included all the chemicals we would need and made sure the water was balanced properly before leaving. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SENSIBLE SPAS TO ANYONE IN THE BAY AREA LOOKING FOR A HOT TUB. read more

Easy process, enjoyable experience. Delivery and set up within 2 days of purchase. Good follow up as well. read more

Made an appointment to check out spas on a Friday, bought one that day had it installed the next Monday. No other spa company in area could have come close to this time line. Owner came out to my house and stayed late ensuring correct install and set up. Then went over everything about spa with me to ensure everything worked correct. The prices are comparable with any company around but a much more personal feeling with company. read more

When our old hot tub broke, we looked in the Bay area for a new company. Of those we found, we tried Sensible Spas first since it was closest to our Fremont address. Debbie was on-site and showed us several models, explaining the differences. We found one we liked, she set up the delivery and we didn't bother to check out any other businesses. The crew who delivered and installed our new tub was great. Everything was installed exactly as we wanted; they fully explained the details of how to run it. We strongly recommend Sensible Spas in Livermore! read more

After shopping around for more than a year, I recently purchased a Caldera Vanto through Sensible Spas. Really you need look no further if you are in the market for a new spa. Sensible Spas not only has great inventory right now, they have a fantastic team. Everyone from my rep Sean to the electrician Mario were absolutely top notch. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and just so easy to work with. If I could give these folks a billion stars as a rating, I would. I am delighted with my purchase and the team at Sensible Spas made the buying process a pleasure. read more

I was looking for a spa and initially I thought about buying from Costco. I saw Craigslist ad for sensible spas and after a few emails went by their showroom to see what they had. I found them to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Checked out a few spas and got some prices. After more research I decided to purchase a 4 person Aquaterra spa. I did the purchase over email and the delivery was fast. They installed and setup the spa. There was an issue that occurred during shipping and they were prepared and able to fix it right on the spot. You wont get that kind of service from Costco. Super happy with purchase and setup. read more

Bought a Costco return from this dealer. He delivered the hot tub, his guys muscled my old piece of crap Dimension 1 spa (second one in 5 years to self destruct) out of my back yard, then brought in the new spa into my back yard, set it in place. The owner then sat down and converted the standard 110 hook up to 220. Filled it up, turned it on, and it works like a charm. For 1/5 of the cost, I have a spa that has water in it set to the same temperature as my $10,000 POS, and I can't tell the difference! Dealer/owner could not have been nicer, and his crew was great. read more

I have been contemplating a spa for quite some time (a year +)...and finally decided to get it! I looked online and wanted to ensure I found someone that 1) was local, 2) someone I trusted from meeting, not just a "car salesman" and 3) if possible, locally family owned and operated. Was on the email list and saw that Sensible Spas was at at Home Show. Decided to go take a look...and was sold the moment I met the owners. Picked a spa, set a date and installed two days later. Payment arrangements were easy, delivery crew team was helpful and worked with me on location and boom...I had a spa! Thank you Sensible Spa Team!!! read more

We got our spa here in 2009, and have loved it every minute since. We've replaced the cover periodically, and they will even deliver and carry off the old one. We've also replaced some jets economically and easily. A few times house calls have been necessary, and this is always professional and timely. Great place! If we ever need a replacement, we'll go to Sensible Spas. read more

We were looking for our fourth spa and found Sensible Spas from Facebook. This company really cares about their customers and want them to be happy with their purchase. Bill and Debbie delivered the spa on time with no issues at all. Bill wired it right up and explained how to use it. Sean the salesman was very courtious and answered all of our questions. When you have previously owned three other spas you know what you are looking for at a reasonable price and this is the place to visit if you are looking for great spas and really great deals. We love our new SPA and would purhcase another one in a heartbeat from this company! Steve and Audrey Rourke read more

I am giving 5 stars but this was 10 star experience! Needed to replace my 20+ year old hot tub. Called Sensible Spa was told they had 1 spa left (Hatana H750B). Decided I needed to jump on that, met Sean at the Livermore location. He explained all the functions of the spa, warranty, install, etc. Although I wasn't a fan of the color, I decided to go for it. THREE days later I am relaxing in my new spa. Yes folks, three days from start to finish, purchased on a Saturday, installed by Tuesday morning! AND they hauled away our old spa. We are loving the new spa, especially the neck and shoulder massage. The color is growing on me!!!! read more

I cannot say enough nice things about Bill and the team at Sensible Spas! Great experience all around - just buy from him and save yourself the time from shopping/haggling elsewhere! An A+ client experience! Additionally, Mario from Astra General Electric did the electrical install and was wonderful to work with. Prompt, professional, up and running in no time. Clean install with a professional crew - highly recommend the team with Bill and Mario for your next hot tub!!! read more

I've been a customer of Sensible Spas for almost 10 years. They did an amazing job installing it and they've provided excellent service over the years. They recently came out for a small problem and fixed it right away. I am so pleased with their service and with my spa. I use it every day, so I was beyond happy when the problem was resolved so quickly. Choosing them to purchase my spa was one of my best decisions!! read more

Bill provides the whole package. He helped service our existing spa, and when it died, he helped us choose the spa that was right for us - even taking us to another client's house to see the model he recommended (she was thrilled to show off her new spa). He didn't oversell or upsell us. He arranged for installation - took care of everything. And then when we need service, Bill is incredibly responsive, collaborative and funny. I look forward to spa cleanings to chat with Bill about the goings-on in the world. He deserves the highest recommendation. read more

The selection and prices of spas was appealing. Called about the spa I was interested in and was told that model was arriving the following day. Went down to have a look, was helped by Sean who went over the main points. Purchased on the spot. Delivery was prompt and on time. Sean went through the maintenance requirements at our home, and when they left the spa was installed and operating. Excellent experience. Highly recommend. Greg read more

I've had my spa from Sensible Spas, just over a month. Everything has been great. There's a reason this company has all 5 star reviews. He does a great job. Between selling the new spa, removal of my old spa, delivering the new one, and setup; Bill has made it a breeze. He's always answered the phone when I've had a question. Honestly, can't say enough great things about my experience with Sensible Spas. You bet your butt, I'm gonna recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a spa. read more

We researched spas for a couple years and then found Sensible Spas. We chose to finally purchase here because of the hard working and friendly husband and wife team. Bill and Debbie supplied a lot of info with very little pressure. They have an electrician they work with and that saved us more research. His price was very reasonable and quality work! We appreciated the fast delivery and set up so that we could be enjoying and relaxing within days! Thank you Bill and Debbie for the personal customer service you provide to your customers! read more

Sensible Spas - Our new spa addition from Sensible Spas - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Livermore, California

We had been trying to find a spa for a few months-everyone was back ordered for 9-11 months. We called Sensible Spas and they said if we wanted something specific, that was the timeline, but if we were open to what they had "extra" on each truck, we might be in luck. Well, we got lucky! We went down when they opened just after a truck delivery-purchased a spa on the spot and it was installed 2 days later! Sean, Bill and Mario the electrician they work with were all terrific! So friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for better service. We are loving our spa-so relaxing during this stay at home time. Thanks Bill and Sean! read more

I had a good experience with the team at Sensible Spas. I feel I got a pretty decent deal and the spa I purchased fits exactly perfect on my patio. I appreciate the follow up post sale from Debbie as well. I would recommend Sensible Spas for sure. read more

Great communication, timeliness and service from start to finish. Don't waste your time shopping anywhere else! I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service of Debbie and Bill. My husband and I purchased the Niagara Spa and could not be happier. Beautiful quality. It's very comfortable and perfect for entertaining. We each have a seat that we love, but I rotate to each to hit all the jets! This spa actually makes me want to workout so I can go in after! I highly recommend Sensible Spas. We shopped around just to be certain, but when it comes to customer service, quality product, and a reasonable price no one can compete. Thank you Debbie and Bill!! read more

A friend recommended Sensible Spas and I'm so grateful she did. From picking out a model to delivery and start up Sensible Spas has been wonderful. There is no pressure when you shop, they are great at answering questions, and follow through completely. I was waiting for a concrete patio to be poured and picked out a spa a few weeks before I would be ready for delivery. They called me a week before my estimated ready time, scheduled delivery and were right on time. They set up the spa in my backyard and answered all my questions. I had considered going with an inflatable spa online, I'm so glad I didn't. Sensible spas is the way to go. With backyard delivery and set up, service, and the same or lower price than Costco or Home Depot, Sensible Spas just makes sense! I recommend them to all my friends. I have had 220V spas but didn't want the hassel of 220V installation. I purchased an Aquaterra Plug and Play Spa. It works great, great jets, a waterfall, and so far I haven't had any problems with the spa retaining heat when I run the jets. It came with a cover and steps and was at full 104 degrees the morning after delivery. Best purchase ever! read more

Such a great buying experience! We were able to get our hot tub delivered the same day we purchased it. I know people are going Really, you're giving a review based on only purchasing a hot tub cover. Let me tell you, when you have a hot tub that comes with a house, purchasing a new cover is no easy matter. We were selling our house and really needed a new one, so we were on a time crunch. The normal spa places don't sell them unless you have their model but Bill at Sensible Spas assisted us in getting a new cover, at a reasonable cost, in a timely manner. We couldn't have been happier. read more

Bill and the whole gang at sensible Spas are awesome got our first spa from him and he delivered it for free and is also going to come back out and show us how to do the chemicals in our spa. We bought a scratch and dent Costco Aquaterra spa from Sensible Spas. We couldn't tell anything that was wrong with it. The owner Bill even helped tie up the loose ends with the electrical to ensure we had a good start. Been about a month now and it's been all smooth. read more
