Had THE best experience on a Sunday morning. Drea was our server and bartender and was incredible! I had THE best ginger mimosa and my avocado toast was so delicious! We sat outside and it was such a vibe. read more

No reservation on a Saturday, but they squeezed us in, seated within 10 mins. Our server Giovanni was very informative, attentive, personable, and made the experience wonderful. Ordered the aguachile( GOOD), pork belly(BOMB), and Filet Mignon cooked to a perfect MR. Recommend all 3 dishes, will be back to try the rest. Oh and ask Gio to try his favorite red wine .. so good! read more

Food was amazing! I forgot to take any pictures but I'm sure others have posted and taste will not disappoint the visual. I loved the pork belly appetizer best, but I'd say everything we tried was great. The service was very attentive, but not overly so; didn't interrupt the conversations. The vibe is very clean with an open layout so it feels comfortable and spacious. Would recommend for a small dinner for 2 or a big group. read more

First time here on Valentine's Day. Sat at the bar as soon as we walked in. Great selection of bourbons and spirits. Food was amazing. Got the Parker rolls, black truffle Mac n cheese, and butternut squash hummus. All 3 were amazing. Staff was awesome and very attentive and friendly. 10/10 recommend for date nights. read more

The appetizers (parker rolls, mac and shrooms, pork belly) were amazing! The spicy tuna on crispy rice unfortunately was not a personal favorite. The entree steaks were good! The service was efficient and the food came out quickly. The ambiance is very upscale, clean, spacious. read more

Food is always great. I've been here for brunch and dinner several times and they are consistent. The service is on point, very knowledgeable, and friendly. I also love the space much better than Joeys next door. Overall great atmosphere, food and service. read more

Food, service and ambience I LOVE. Will be back with family and friends. Cheyenne is an amazing Bartender. Best espresso martini I've ever had. read more

EXCELLENT! This restaurant is an absolute go-to, perfectly striking the balance between tradition and international. The dishes are refined, with novel twists, high-quality, and meticulously plated. Service was attentive and professional. No reason to wait for Saint & Second to find their footing - they are ready to launch! Sharing pictures: two openers (gochujang pork belly wraps and Mediterranean trio); two mains - Wedge Salad (we opted for no blue cheese) and the haddock (tartar was herb-filled, delish!). Dessert was a double-crust peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, warmed caramel sauce, and (!) hazelnuts. Scoot over Sylvia's! This one hits! Hats off to the chef and staff. And, thank you to the Saint & Second staff for the blind invitation to join your soft opening. We are already planning a family event here! read more

Had the best happy hour experience with Aaron today, sitting at the bar. He was so kind and happy, will be back for sure!!! Pro-tip- get the salmon tacos read more

Very friendly, ambiance was warm and relaxing, food is definitely overpriced. The twist on the burger made it hard to eat but they were super nice to redo the burger when we asked . The waiters were very accommodating. Recommend for a nice evening read more

Went in for lunch, service was good and kept coming by to see if we needed anything, food was just ok my friend had the fish and chips but didn't finish it, I think it wasn't great as she picked at it. I had the steak sandwich which was just ok but for the price should have been great. read more

Came for Thanksgiving and was sat right away, also the food was great. Oysters were so fresh, sweet and ordered two dozens. Only gripe was the server seemed new. Sounded nervous which was fine but couldn't describe dishes when asked. Also wasn't very attentive and I had to go to the bar twice to order more drinks. read more

This review is for a dinner we had on September 28. We had been looking forward to this place opening as we frequent many restaurants in the south bay. We arrived promptly and were seated, but then sat there for 20 mins without being approached by anyone. We finally asked the bartender (who seemed to be the only person working and was great in getting our drink order) if there was anyone working this section and she said the managers were having a meeting with the wait staff and she'd tell them customers were waiting. 15 minutes later they finally released the staff and our server, who was was very nice but didn't really seem to know the menu (so the meeting wasn't about that). After that the 2 managers stood on the floor chatting with employees and generally slowing things down. We expected a "sorry about that" but nothing. The food was and menu was very good. We had heard great things about the Long Beach location so hopefully they can get the management some very much needed hospitality training they need in this location. Eddie V's did an exemplary job when they opened in nearby El Segundo so perhaps Saints and Seconds could get some consulting pointers. PS the sommelier was very good. read more

A great competitor to Joey's... this place has ambience, the environment was perfectly matched with strong, healthy drinks, and delicious food, and the topper was the service.. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the Manhattan Beach area and looking for good vibes.. read more

I truly would not recommend dining here. Unfortunately, it is incredibly over priced and bland. I was SO excited to try saint & second as an MB local and it was so disappointing. Everything we ordered was average at best and seriously lacking in flavor and salt. Not worth the $$$ read more

Our second visit. Honestly food was okay. But service was wonderful. Thank you Janise!

Everything was incredible, from the decor, to the service, the drinks, the food, to the overall ambience. five stars every day all day!!

I'm very shocked that my food was not good today I had the French onion soup (delightful as always) and the fish & chips, with house made tarter & ketchup, I ask for malt vinegar on the side, now this dish is usually sooo good especially the tarter sauce & im particular. It's usually like a tarragon & umami flavor, but today, today! I think I shocked my server bcus I asked "is their chopped up boiled egg yokes?" She goes to the kitchen comes back "yes, are you allergic?" I replied "no, I could tell, the tarter taste like egg salad today and when I looked a lil closer I could see the egg" she apologized, of course it's not her fault. But come on, ugh. Then the fish, had NO seasoning whatsoever, they could of put some salt on the fish before the batter fry, because once the batter falls off the fish and I have to eat it plain, it's gross. My meal today was $44.50 basically, and the best thing was my ice cold water. My server, she was nice, but she wasn't attentive enough, nor did she spark any type of convo, just lacked customer service. No type of "how's your day going? You know we do have happy hour if interested although your about half hour early... have you been to the restaurant before? No? Here's some suggestions... oh you have been, what did you enjoy? Something similar you may like based on that dish is.... Like servers lack connection with guest and then complain about tips. It's so easy to do. And come back and check on your guest when food isn't in their mouth so you can be engaged with their response. My food was terrible and had the server came back I may of could have given a turn around review but it was too late for my food to be fixed because I needed to leave. read more

What a wonderful experience. We brought our mother here to celebrate Mother's Day. They were packed but from the moment we walked in John's attitude was very kind. He realized we wanted to celebrate our mom and reassured us a table would be available. We then got Hanna as our waitress and she was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our mom was very happy. Thank you John and Hannah for an excellent experience. read more

Finally opened! My girls and I went here for lunch. Such a beautiful place, loved sitting outside. The bar is gorgeous. I had their ribeye steak sandwich for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. It was filling so I took half of it home with me. The service was great. Took a bit for the food to come out but wasn't too bad. Definitely want to go book and have some drinks. read more

Honestly, it was meh. Probably wont be back. It was a busy Friday night. Hostess was very nice and able to squeeze us in for a table of two when another Res canceled. Very much appreciated the extra effort there. Service was good. Attentive. The food was left something to be desired. It looked great, but didn't taste that great. Calamari was cold. I should have returned it, but didn't really think about it until we had picked through a third of the dish. Onion soup looked amazing, but lacked flavor in the broth. Underwhelming. My son's steak was supposed to be medium rare, it was fully rare. He asked why it was so chewy. Just wasn't cooked enough. It was fully red from edge to edge. My pork chop was probably the best dish we had, but if I'm being honest, it was good, not great. Everything looked amazing, but none of it tasted as good as it looked. Ambience and location are great. It's a fun little area. Just wish they could deliver on the food. Too many better options in Manhattan Village. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place out for date night and we were not disappointed! 10/10 from the ambiance, to the food and drinks, to the service, everything was all around fantastic. Our server Brooke was absolutely amazing and made the night such a great experience. I'm a very indecisive person and Brooke was super sweet, helpful and professional navigating us through the menu. She recommended the filet and the lobster risotto and both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered drinks and oysters which were also fantastic. Can't recommend enough and we'll definitely be back! read more

I visited saint and second for my first time ever last week and had such a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, the hosts were such warm greeters. I took a seat at the bar and was served immediately. The bar team really seemed to work well together and have fun doing it. Janise made me one of the most delicious Paloma's I've ever had. I even made some new friends at the bar well enjoying my cocktails. Will definitely be back! read more

Ambiance was great Food and service were absolutely awful. Crabcakes had literally no crabmeat, branzino was way overcooked and after dinner hit drinks came 10 minutes apart. This place needs some leadership and a good chef ! Save your money and go to other walkable options nearby that are established and a whole lot better ! A one star rating is generous read more

Michael Santiago's service was excellent. The food was great. Ray the bartender was also fantastic. Will come again!

The outside looks great. Unless you like fancy places that "elevate" traditional meals by turning them around completely. I ordered the lasagna; It tasted like chewed up mush, had no meat, instead mushroom sprinkled here and there, why insert a vegetarian option but still charge high.. And the top was all burnt but i guess i liked the crunch. Definitely wish i could go back in time and not order this. The sauce / burrata cheese at the bottom of the plate covered the disappointment of the main piece. Also the food took like 25 mins to come read more

I had high hopes after seeing all of the good reviews. Came here Saturday for my birthday and was not impressed. The food menu was very small, which surprised me. I ordered the lobster risotto and it arrived to the table room temp. Our waiter kept calling us "friend" so many times that it became annoying and disingenuous. Even though I specified it was my birthday when making the reservation, there was no dessert offered. I was expecting this as I knew the restaurant offered a bday dessert based on Yelp reviews and pics. I didn't say anything until the bill had been paid and I was leaving. The GM was kind enough to apologize and offer a dessert on the house next time. I'm not a food snob, but considering the price of the meal, I expected better quality. 2 meals, 1 appetizer, 1 non-alcoholic drink, and 1 cocktail came to a little over $150 before tip. What was supposed to be a special occasion was not. Won't be coming back. read more

We had a wonderful dining experience, made even more memorable thanks to Michael Santiago. Although he wasn't our assigned server, Michael went out of his way to assist us throughout our meal. From checking in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, to helping with a special request when our server was tied up, his attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out I don't usually write reviews but I had to ask his name so that I show my appreciation. read more

Great food and amazing service. We got the pork belly, steak and fries, wedge salad, and salmon. All were delicious. We asked for our steak to be cooked a little more and they gave us a new steak, took it off the bill, and gave us a free dessert.
