Average chain food but they do have that salad bar. This place is a somewhat healthier choice than most other chain restaurants depending on what you order. If you're going to come here you need to try the salad bar. It's nothing extraordinary but does the job and everything is very fresh. Oddly, they didn't have cucumbers on my visit, instead offering zucchini. No idea if this was usual or they happened to be out. Otherwise, the sirloin I ordered was tasty and the zucchini was okay but a bit bland. Service was very friendly and I'd return here if I wanted a Ruby Tuesday meal. read more

I must say Ruby Tuesdays have moved up with their servers. I recently visited the I95 location in Saint Augustine and what a pleasure it was. My server Kelly was Ahhh mazing!!! Not only was she attentive and friendly, she was knowledgeable about her menu. After recommending the salmon, which I absolutely loved, she offered desserts , which I've rarely had done there in the past. We will definitely be coming back to see her and the great food. It was a quiet afternoon, in between lunch and dinner when my mom and I went to the Ruby's in St. Augustine. The food was fresh fresh fresh- even the bacon was crispy. We had the Asiago Chicken and it was the best we've ever had. The servers were attentive and so kind- especially Mark, who couldn't do enough for us. They treated us like VIPs, and noticed they treated everyone with the same respect and appreciation for our business. What great food and service! read more

We were on our way home from vacation in Hilton Head - with our dog - when we got a nail in our tire in Saint Augustine. Had to stop fast. Found the Discount Tire store and asked them for a patch. It was Saturday and they were busy. Going to be two hours plus, they said. What to do with the dog? The tire guys suggested the Ruby Tuesday next door, which has a patio. Did I mention it was 92 with a heat index of 108? They could have been rude and turned us away with our big shaggy dog. They could have said no pets, find somewhere else to go. Instead, they allowed us to sit on their patio and they invited us to open the umbrellas, and moved the table over so it would be under the awning, and brought our half-dead-from-the-heat black lab some cold water in a bowl. Kept our waters filled, brought us hot tasty food, and kept checking on us with genuine kindness. They were absolutely the nicest people ever and some of the best service I've had. So we stop by the Pt location because we didn't want any fast food and it was right along the highway. When we got in there people would looking around, suspect. We finally found out that the service was pretty damn slow Pt most of the workers were nice and understanding of the situation. After several hours of shopping at the St.Augustine outlet mall we (5 ladies) decided we wanted lunch THEN the issue of where to go!?!? We decided Ruby Tuesday there near the outlet and I am glad we did! I like fresh salad bars...yes it is nice to have a great salad prepared for you but rarely is it a great salad, usually it is just o.k. For lunch I got the salad bar ($8.95) and made myself a great salad...mixed greens/spinach, cucumbers, sweet grape tomatoes, red onions, black olives, fresh broccoli, black beans, ham cubes, shredded cheese, roasted broccoli, banana peppers (yes, they need bigger plates) topped lightly with light Ranch dressing! A few pieces of garlic pita squares and I was a happy camper! One friend got the sirloin steak meal and though she rarely finishes a meal... she had a clean plate! The others followed suit and got the salad bar too probably one of the reasons was the salad man was SO conscientious in keeping all the options filled and cleaned! My husband and I stopped in for a light lunch on our way to a campground in st Augustine. We were sat after a few minutes of standing at the podium and continued to sit and wait for anyone to acknowledge us. After about 20 minutes, our order was taken. We got up and got our salad and continued to wait for our drinks. 1 appetizer came out and when were almost done with our salad, out comes the other (still no drinks). So we asked again for our drinks and brought right away. Now, we sit and sit, nobody asked if everything was alright or needed ANYTHING as I sit with an empty glass for a long time. Finally a waitress flys by putting our check on the table (we needed Togo boxes) and we continue to sit and wait for her to come back. ..."Crickets". I leave and go outside my husband continues to wait to be acknowledged so he can get a Togo box and PAY! .... "Crickets". He had to literally get up and go to the podium and yell "does anyone want my money"!? He said 3 girls jumped up to cash him out with no apology from anyone or offer to make things right! All around us customers where getting great service , we've never been treated so poorly! They were SLOW I should add and just standing around talking amongst themselves. Absolutely disgusting. No menus for the kids then the food came out at different times. We had to ask for silverware. When they brought my daughters grapes out they was nasty and you could see how nasty they was with it all coming on the white plate. No offer to replace the grapes with something else or anything. Just said " those grapes came from the bottom of the bag & I'll just take those and get them off your bill" When I opened the silverware there was food all over them, got a different set that one had food and trash on them as well and waitress seen it as well then asked if I would rather togo plastic ware.. The bartender, her name is April, was absolutely AMAZING. They were very busy, it was a mostly full bar with probably 17 out of 20 seats taken, most customers eating food and eating, AND she was pouring all the drinks for the entire restaurant which was mostly full as well. PLUS, she was taking care of a steady stream of take-out customers as this location is near several hotels. She was like a tornado tearing through there taking care of everyone, yet she was still friendly and provided great service. She was unbelievably patient with the idiot customer who was sitting next to me who couldn't figure out what to order and what comes with what despite her repeated very-clear menu explanations. She is probably the best bartender I have ever seen. The restaurant was very nice and clean inside, and the food was very good. The outdoor patio looked very inviting, but it was a rainy evening. I ordered the Double Decker Chicken. The only complaint is that there should be more of the parm. cream sauce and less of the shaved Asiago cheese. I've had this dish at numerous Ruby Tuesday restaurants and the ratio of ingredients is not consistent across locations. read more

I don't know what's happening to this place, but my past two visits have not been good at all. This last visit I ordered the cheddar and bacon minis with the salad bar combo. The fries were so salty I could barely eat them. I asked for honey mustard sauce and it took my whole meal to get it. I was done by the time the server brought it. I wasn't checked in on at all until the end of my meal. I was asked at the end if I wanted more to drink (drink was empty almost all meal). The server was at least pleasant, just not attentive at all. My previous visit, I ordered the lump crab cakes and salad bar (total $12.99) and the 2 crab cakes were COMBINED the size of my palm. So small. Not worth $13 at all. I asked if that was the true size and the waitress immediately became snarky with me and said I'll get the manager. The manager brought me two more crab cakes saying they were small for the price, yes. The waitress was terrible to me after that. They've also reduced their menu offerings, cut prices, and redecorated from a nice looking location to a not as nice space. I don't know what's going on but it's not good. Ruby Tuesdays feels like a healthy choice, even if I then decide to eat like shit when I get there. When my husband and I travel, we try not to do fast food. We hit Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday often because they are quick, but real food. You can't beat a Ruby Tuesday salad bar. The cheesy biscuits are yummy, and they have a great real menu for when you want to treat yourself for not eating fast food by starting with the spinach dip appetizer. read more

Food is always fresh here, and the service is always great when I stop by. I really love the salad bar for the assortment of ingredients. Edamame, beets, diced eggs, and green peas seem to be staples. I also enjoy the new veggie trios here as well. We went for a late lunch on a Sunday. As expected, it was not busy so we were served right the way. The food was ok but too salty for my taste. I had signed up for the reward program a while back so we got a free apetizer. The server was nice and the restaurant was clean. They are running a burger and fries special for around $7, that was grest, but my daughters mac and cheese kids meal didn't come with a side so she asked for a side of grilled zucchini. Our server was much more interested in flirting with the bartender than in actually serving us. She stopped by to get our orders and to get the check at the end of the meal, and that was about it. I had an empty beverage glass for the majority of the meal. The food was mediocre at best. Even the salad bar was disappointing. I always look forward to their croutons because they're firm on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. There's nothing like their croutons. These were just stale. I was coming from Jacksonville back home to St. Augustine and placed a to go order when I was approx. 25 min away. I ordered two cheeseburgers, one with only pickle and the other with pickle and lettuce both cooked medium. Pretty easy right???? Well when I arrived at the restaurant I went to the bar to wait on the food that had been ordered. When I walked in there was a cluster of waitresses standing by the drink station at the to go entrance all texting real young high school age. When I sat at the bar I couldn't help but notice the cook in the back drinking a beer while my food was being cooked. The fries were waiting in a bowl outside the order window of the kitchen out in the open and the waitresses filled the order (not cooked to order so they are hot and fresh.) When I got home my order was totally wrong. Nothing was made the way I ordered it. No ketchup, napkins, silverware ect....Fries were stale and ice cold. If you can get past the dim lights and weird smell, the place is okay. But marginally okay. The chips were stale, well at least half of them. The spinach dip was good, but the typical micro way kind. The pretzel was awesome and so were the mozzarella sticks. The marinara was mediocre. It's almost like ruby Tuesday has enough money to be great, but they don't want to invest in greatness. So let's sell the cheapest and best we can get. The drinks were good! This place has redeeming qualities but falls short. Mainly the smell. This is the third one in Florida I've been to, and they all have the musty wet smell. It is enough to make me want to leave, but I was so hungry and traveling all day that I saw it through. God willing I am not sick tomorrow. If I am not, this place will get another star. Restaurant owner, please invest more into the atmosphere. Look, sound, feel(smell) goes a long way. read more
