Sometimes when restaurants first open the food isn't that good but this wasn't the case for JIN. Not only was the food good to the palate but it was yummy to the eyes too. I finally came in and was plesantly satisfied. Upon entering there was soft music playing, it was warm inside and we were sweetly seated. The kind waiter took our drink orders and was so kind. We ordered 3 miso soups, thai spring rolls, comes with (4) in an order, yam tempura roll, dragon roll, cucumber cream cheese rolls all was $62 for taste, and quality that is Great! We got the crazy dynamite roll and it was literally the best sushi I've ever had in my entire life. I would literally over 3 of them if I could. The sauce on the hibachi was absolutely AMAZING. It's fair to say if I ate here over 2 weeks ago and am still dreaming about the food (especially the green curry sauce) this place is a safe bet! JIN is located just past the main entrance of the outlet mall on the right side of HWY 16. If you like your curry spicy order the green! The sushi and sashimi selections are wonderful too. Wow! Color me surprised at how good this place is. Our family went in for lunch and got some of the specials which included sushi rolls. Food was delicious and the prices were great! We managed to feed a family of 4 for under $50. Very hard to go out to eat nowadays and not spend more than that. Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem! the food was phenomenal if you are looking for a light delicious and flavorful meal you found it. I had the shrimp tempura roll, and the thai garlic steak habachi, it comes with a ginger salad and clear soup. the steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious and had a good kick to it. the clear soup is some of the best I've had and id come back just to get the soup. read more

I'm surprised this place doesn't have that many reviews. I'm guessing is either very new or maybe is the fact the new owners haven't changed the old signage up. The restaurant is located at the shoppes at mill creekplace is nice and clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was really nice. Some plates were amazing others not so much. The gyozas, the house salad and the wonton soup were amazing! Very fresh and super flavorful! The hibachi lunch was really nice too! The steak was tender and really well seasoned. The rice was fresh and good! The pad Thai on the other hand was a little to sweet for my taste but the shrimps were cook perfectly! The sushi was really the downside of the meal. Too much sauce, so you really don't get to enjoy the actual roll because the only thing you are able to taste is the eel sauce and spicy mayo. Do not waste your time or your money here. Worst service and dinner in Saint Augustine. Our friends food was cold. They both ordered cooked dishes. They had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for sometime because the broth and sauce actually separated. When they asked to have it fixed they just threw it in the microwave and brought out the exact same plate and it was still cold. The microwave just made the shrimp unbelievably tough. Our friends wife ordered steak and lobster medium rare. The steak was well done and the lobster was cold just like her husband's plate above. My wife and I just ordered straight up sushi so it is supposed to be cold although they did make it and have it sit behind the bar for about 20 minutes while the other plates were being made. With so many other good sushi places around like the green papaya or wasabi don't waste your money here. read more
