L to R: 62. Crunchy Tuna Roll, S25. Ichiban Roll, S23. Sunset Boulevard roll.

The food and service here are amazing!! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, especially with how fresh and delicious the food is. I read reviews before coming and it's true--the miso soup is phenom. We shared three rolls and a hot sake. Pictures are the crunchy spicy tuna, the ichiban, and the sunset boulevard (mango on top). Don't read the negative reviews, they're totally off base here. I will be back soon!

Stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the St. Augustine area. Food and service were both good.

Food was good, service was horrible! I came in to place a to-go order. The woman who took my order and charged me was not friendly at all. She was rushing me, it was my first time in, I ordered 4 chicken teriyaki and then she said "Okay that's it". She rung up my bill and handed me the receipt. When I said I was ordering more she seemed upset that she had to ring me up again, Nonetheless I ordered another lunch beef terriyaki, two pot sticker orders , and three soy wrapped sushi : (1) cucumber (1) avocado (1) sweet potato my total was $85.93 Price wasn't terribly bad, but the service was poor and didn't match up with what customer service should be. I know for a fact I will not be back.

The best place for sushi rolls in St. Augustine. Have been a regular here for a while now! They have the best miso soup. We usually get their miso soup, white zin, kirin, hot sake, gyoza and shumai both fried. The rolls, we got the Yuki roll, Baymeadows, Mayo Roll and Yellowtail Nagiri. The service is great, quick and friendly. The ambiance is decent.

Fresh. Fast. Nice people here. Clean and neat. Great menu too. They have sake and beers available too.

Service and food was very good! Menu provided at table with pencil to circle items to order. Several people came in to pick up their food to go. My water was filled several times & the service was attentive. I'll be back.

Surprising find next to Publix! We had a great dinner here! We will definitely be back!

Excellent sushi! Great service and prices too! Located in a strip mall next to Publix ,very convenient right off of State Road 16. I have been twice now and have no complaints other than maybe the air conditioner was set too cold and when the waitress didn't come back fast enough but I understand there's a small staff here. We had the rainbow roll, the crazy roll, spicy tuna roll, the Alaskan, the American dream and the bamboo roll just to name some! All delicious! Definitely will be back for more

Rice Roll with a Hint of Meat (aka DRAGON ROLL)

We were so excited to eat here as it looked like sushi was their specialty. Maybe our expectations were too high. ‍ I see some of the other reviewers photos and that is not at all what our food looked like when we brought it home. Most of the rolls were small. I agree with others, the food is mediocre. The Volcano Roll specified "baked conch, krab, mayo on top". There is def no conch. It looks like shredded imitation crab slightly toasted with a spicy sauce drizzled over it. The Dragon Roll ...... listed as "tuna, salmon, white fish, krab, cream cheese, fish eggs". That was the only fried roll we ordered and it was a major let down. The ratio of rice to the other ingredients that were supposed to be in the roll...ridiculous. Also a complete lack of batter on the outside. On a good note... both the miso soup and clear soup were amazing! Unless we're craving soup, we will be venturing elsewhere.

Fast service! Mediocre food, was pretty good but not over the top. Quick service and great miso soup.

We started with the crab Rangoon and fried shumai, both perfectly crisp, fresh, and full of flavor without being greasy or heavy. Every bite was well-balanced and clearly made to order. The highlight of the meal was the Baitong Lobster. It was beautifully cooked, tender, and infused with rich flavor that made it the standout dish of the night. Easily one of the best seafood dishes we had during our trip. Overall, the quality, presentation, and execution across every dish were excellent. This is a place that delivers consistently strong food and is well worth a visit when in St. Augustine.

If you're into Thai food, this place is worth finding. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable, nothing over the top but it felt welcoming the moment you walked in. Our waiter was genuinely helpful -- not in a rehearsed way, just actually attentive and knew the menu well. That alone goes a long way. We ordered the thai fried rice and pad see ew, both were really good. The flavors were on point and the portions were solid for the price. Nothing on the menu felt overpriced, which is refreshing. We also grabbed a few appetizers and they held their own, but the rock shrimp absolutely stole the show. That was probably the highlight of the whole meal -- really well done. If you're passing through or live in the area and haven't been, it's worth checking out. Not flashy, just good food at a fair price with people who actually seem to care. That's all you really need.

I had maybe the most bibimbap of my life here, and that includes contenders from a number of restaurants in the Atlanta area. It was truly perfect. $8 for adding tofu (maybe 1/4 block lmao) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen financially, but hey it's a tourist area and it was absolutely made with skill & care, so I wasn't even mad. Seriously, I wanted to hug whoever cooked it. It is so worth it. Everyone else at my table was thrilled with what they got - burrata sandwiches and a fish sandwich. Not a good beer selection, it's very cocktail focused. Not my thing but yeah I will absolutely be back anytime I am in this wonderful city. This is not one to skip

I wanted to love Forgotten Tonic because the menu looked unique, but unfortunately this was one of…read morethe most disappointing dining experiences we've had in St. Augustine. First, the seating. The tables are unusually tall, making us feel like little kids trying to sit at the adults' table. It wasn't comfortable for anyone in our group. Then there were the lights. They continuously blinked above our table, and it was so distracting that we asked to move. Unfortunately, the second table had the same issue. I know St. Augustine is famous for its ghosts, but I wasn't expecting them to be playing with the lights at 7:00 p.m. while the sun was still shining! The biggest frustration was ordering. We were told menu items could be modified, but after placing our order the server kept returning one item at a time to tell us they actually couldn't make the requested changes. It would have been much better to know that before ordering. The pickle appetizer was another disappointment. Based on the description, I expected a pickle-forward appetizer. Instead, it was mostly kimchi, pickled onions, and other pickled vegetables with only five slices of actual pickles. I honestly don't have the words to describe how disappointing that dish was. I was also excited to try the tzatziki green beans, but the crisp pickled green beans tasted more like fermented green sticks than an enjoyable side dish. The baked Brie arrived with what I initially thought was melted cheese inside the croissant, but it turned out to be undercooked raw dough. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had just taken a bite of raw dough. I actually started feeling sick before we even left the restaurant. My younger son ordered the house root beer, which tasted extremely watered down. He also had the pasta with added grilled chicken, but the chicken was dark meat, overly shiny, and completely unappetizing to him. I ordered the non-alcoholic Velvet Slippers mocktail. One sip was enough--I honestly can't find the words to describe how unpleasant it tasted. My friend ordered the steak sandwich and requested the peppers be left off. After ordering, she was told they couldn't accommodate that request, so she had to pick the peppers off herself and still didn't enjoy the sandwich. My older son ordered the lamb sirloin. Even though lamb is often served medium-rare, this was so rare it looked like it was still bleating. We paid our bill before dessert because my stomach was already upset. I ended up making one last stop in the restroom before catching up with my family, who were already halfway down the street, ready to forget Forgotten Tonic. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. Between the uncomfortable seating, blinking lights, inability to accommodate simple modifications, disappointing food, and getting sick before leaving the restaurant, we won't be returning.
