My parent unit and I decided to try this place after hearing great reviews about their Bento boxes. We each ordered a Bento box lunch. My P.U. ordered the Salmon and I had the Steak Teriyaki, Awesome! Food was fresh and so good. The service was on it! The restaurant was freshly renovated with new table set-ups. I really enjoyed the tablet menu with the descriptions of the food and vivid pictures. Looking forward to ordering sushi next time.

Staff 10, Ambiance 10, Food 10+++ I've never had an adequate meal here. The food is amazing!!!! Try it!!!!

Tonkatsu ramen

This was my third time visiting Ginger Bistro, but my first visit on a weekend, and the food continues to impress! I had the Tonkotsu pork ramen, and my son had the Godzilla ramen. Pro tip: ask for the special house chili oil to dial in your perfect heat level--it's a game-changer! The ramen wasn't piping hot but was still absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients throughout. I do wish they served the Bento box lunch special on the weekends, but everything else more than made up for it. The restaurant was clean, the servers were attentive, and I absolutely love the music--it adds to the great atmosphere. The pork in the Tonkotsu ramen was so good that I need to figure out how they prepare it! I'll definitely be back for more.

Service was great. The special rolls were really so unique. I've never had them anywhere else. And they were really fresh. The menu had a great variety of dishes. Even some Chinese dishes. Great place!

Tokyo Ramen

Excited to try this place for the ramen! A few things, right when you walk it , it did smell heavily like a nail salon. Maybe because the nail salon is next door but the scent of it circulated the entire restaurant. Not sure if the air vents connect. Other wise, I order the Tokyo ramen and it was delicious. The flavor was amazing and the toppings were great! The only thing is you get 3 slices of meat, wish there was more although you can order extra. The soup is delicious, it did leave me thirsty as the sodium level of the soup was high. My husband ordered the sashimi combo and he said it tasted OK not the best quality fish. The inside seating is decent, lots of seating and booths and high chair for little ones. Service was quick and everyone was friendly.

Amazing food and friendly staff. On spot with any questions about then, and they are the only place in town with an aging fish cooler.

Great service and amazing food! A place we would come for sure when we come back to St Augustine.

The service was good, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The Spicy Beef Ramen was fantastic and I suggest you come it (it has a bite). The decor is simple but very nice.

Must try chill, quality food in the Saint Augustine area. Tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and enjoyed it with the soft boiled egg. Bathrooms were clean, service with a smile. I have yet to try their sushi for next time. Service is amazing, they're very accommodating and the food came out almost immediately. Five stars for me, must try if you're craving some Japanese food

Sashimi Deluxe- 4.5/5 solid fish selection. Clean and fresh.

I have my share of sushi from Mainly the west coast. Ginger offers a pretty decent selection of sashimi and specialty rolls. I really like the lunch offers for a nice budget friendly category. They did had toro...although not the greatest but decent. I I thought the cut was a bit thin to get any of that delicate fatty flavor out. The ramen was pretty decent and great portion and broth was pretty flavorful and smooth. The baos were nice. I would prefer something colorful or pickled to incorporate some tartness with the chashu and fried soft shell crab. Overall customer service was attentive and fish was clean and fresh.

Spicy tuna roll, tuna and avocado roll and sweet potato roll

This is one of our go to sushi places. Service is always consistently good and prompt. The dining room was redone last year and it is spacious. The menu is on a tablet but the server takes your order. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I always get a sweet potato roll and this last one I had was the best yet. They have lunch specials where you can get miso soup or salad and either 2 rolls or 3 rolls. Definitely worth checking out!

Great menu and friendly service. Awesome lunch specials too. Have a great Sake and beer selection. I had two rolls and miso soup with sake and an Asahi it was great. It is run by Chinese people not Japanese but the food tastes authentic.

Sitting at the sushi bar, you can see seating on my right and also behind me which you can't see

What a wonderful experience at Lotus Noodle Bar!…read more We came here on a Thursday evening so it wasn't hard to get a reservation. The restaurant is quite small inside with limited seating, and there is a parking lot with only a few available spaces. The ambiance is nice, a bit upscale but I still felt comfortable in casual clothing. I would imagine it best to come here on a date; it's quiet and has low lighting. The chef is Michelin star trained, and let me tell you this place definitely lives up to that description; he is well on his way to earning that first Michelin star for Lotus Noodle bar. The service was top notch and equivalent to what I would expect at either a Michelin starred or high end restaurant. The wait staff were knowledgeable about all of the items on the menu, each dish was brought out in a timely manner, and the table was cleaned and the silverware replaced with every entree. Not only that but the chef came out to finish each dish himself and explain the meaning and ingredients behind them. He truly is passionate about his craft. Now onto the food. We started off with the Izakaya Crab Salad which had yuzu kosho aioli, blue crab, green apple, mango, daikon radish pickled cucumbers, nori goma, scallion, mint, and ikura caviar. The crab was so fresh it could have been caught that morning! All of the salad's components worked well together as well as standouts on their own. The salad was refreshing, and the ikura caviar bursting with each bite, truly made this an outstanding experience. Rating: 4/5 Next we got the BURRATA-TOMATOES-CITRUS which had heirloom tomatoes, burrata, citrus supremes, shiso, mint chíli oil, okinawa sea salt, and a citrus-truffle infusion. The tomatoes were so fresh, flavorful and juicy. The Buratta was delicious, and the citrus truffle infusion sauce made the whole dish stand out as unique to your normal Buratta with a citrusy creamy taste. They even topped it off with real sliced truffle which is my absolute favorite! Rating: 5/5 Next was the HAMACHI CRUDO which had yuzu tobiko, pickled honeydew, citrus infused evoo, mango, jalapeño, cilantro, and a coconut-chili emulsion. The hamachi was so fresh it just melted in your mouth! The pickled honeydew and coconut chili emulsion made for a great pairing. All of the ingredients combined were wonderful as well and made the dish so fresh and delicious. Rating: 5/5 Next on our list was the A NOT SO TRADITIONAL CAVIAR SERVICE with koji, roasted brown butter furikake potatoes with fried garlic, bonito flakes, and shichimi togarashi crème fraîche with chili oil, chives, and I chose the royal ossetra caviar. I found this to be such a unique caviar service that fit the Japanese/French style of the entire restaurant. The potatoes were soft and yet slightly crispy on the outside with the classic Japanese taste of furikake and bonito flakes. The crème fraiche added a nice creamy balance to the super flavorful potatoes and caviar. Rating: 5/5 Of course given that this was a place also known for their ramen I had to get a bowl despite being super full already (the other dishes are deceptively filling). For this I chose the Truffle Mazeman which had truffle butter, aerated mornay, seasonal truffles and chives. This was the most delicious ramen I've had since I ate in Japan! It combined the delicious flavors of Gruyère and Parmesan but made in the aerated fashion it was super light and foamy but also very rich in flavor. I was also given a generous portion of shaved truffle to go on top! Rating: 5/5 Next time I would love to have dessert! TLDR: This is a standout Japanese/French fusion restaurant by a Michelin star trained chef with a focus on ramen and fresh ingredients. It is definitely eminent of a Michelin starred restaurant with the impeccable service, sustainably changing menu, and innovative dishes which balance both fresh and savory flavors in which its ingredients stand out alone as much as blend incredibly well together. The prices are decent and well suited to this type of establishment, and they are down to earth with not making you feel uncomfortable in casual clothing despite the ambiance and class. Small space and parking is minimal, reservations strongly recommended. I can't wait to come again!

She was game and my husband came as well. I made reservations on Resy for the latest spot available on a Sunday due to not knowing what our plans were. The restaurant called me "offering to come earlier" and it worked for us. We arrived around 7:30pm and the restaurant was not packed. I was surprised at how small the restaurant was but it was cozy. We were greeted and I gave the reservation information and we were led to our table, which was right in front of the kitchen. I love how the kitchen is completely open and you can watch the magic. I browsed the food menu prior to our visit but did not browse the drink menu so I was caught off guard when we were offered to place drink orders. I ordered the Lotus Blossom cocktail due to our server recommending it. I noticed a wine afterwards I wanted to order but didn't have time. We ordered the cucumbers for an appetizer to share. Omg they were soooo good! We scarfed that down quickly. I ordered the Garlic Noodle Mazemen. Hubs and my friend ordered the Spicy Duck Tan Tan and I believe the Sweet Soy Braised Brisket. We all agreed our food was delicious. I feel like mine was too fishy for my taste and I would have preferred bigger pieces of crab instead. My friend and I could not finish so we wrapped ours up to go. Congratulations are in order because they are now in the Michelin Guide! Definitely worth trying and don't forget to make a reservation ahead of time!

Probably the best Thai restaurant in St. Augustine. Not only was the food delicious -- seriously, everything we ordered was amazing -- the service was extraordinary. Jak, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure that we and our dogs were as comfortable as possible while eating outside in the Florida heat. He opened the big umbrella to provide us with shade, brought a bowl of water for our dogs as well as some treats, and even went as far as bringing out a fan to provide us with some breeze. My husband and I were blown away by this service; we've never been to a restaurant were the owner cares so much about the customers. As aforementioned, the food was also incredible. We started off with some curry fish cakes and curry puffs; both were very tasty and came with a sweet peanut sauce with vegetables. For our main dishes, we had the red curry chicken -- very flavorful and deliciously spicy, but not too spicy -- and the drunken duck noodles -- also very flavorful. To finish off our meal, we had the sticky rice mango, which was very yummy. Additionally, we had the mango boba and peach passion fruit boba teas, which were very refreshing in this summer weather. We'll definitely be back whenever we come back to St. Augustine and will recommend it to our friends and family when they visit.

This Publix is located along a main road, and is easy to navigate to. There is a dedicated parking lot, and we had no issue grabbing a spot relatively close to the entrance. Our visit was on a Tuesday morning in July, and there were a good amount of customers at that time. This location is either relatively new, or recently went through a remodel. Everything is clean, shiny, and modern. I was impressed with the design of the space, and how organized and clean the entire store was. In addition to the typical grocery portions of the store, there were several tables inside to enjoy your food from the hot bars or your drinks. Originally, we tried to order our sandwiches on the app, but it was giving us some issues. We went inside to order and it was a pleasant experience. There were a few people in line before us, but we were served in no time. The employees making our sandwiches gave some good recommendations when we asked about their limited time offers. We pursued around the store for a couple minutes before we checked out. Our group grabbed some chips and other grocery items to accompany the sandwiches. I personally headed to the hot bar, which was right next to the deli/sandwich bar. They had cheese curds that are sold by the pound. I personally love cheese curds, so I got about a pound's worth. I really enjoyed my lunch! The cheese curds were plump and very tasty. They have more of a breading instead of a crunchy coating, but still very good. My Turkey Pub Sub was awesome. I love how you can truly customize these any which way you want. I even put some egg on as a topping this time. These are even good the next day, as I got a full size and saved one half for a lunch later that week. I enjoyed getting to visit this Publix for the first time. It is a bright and modern location with a huge selection of everything. The staff were all very nice as well. They had various specials and sales in all of the departments, including for the hot foods and subs. I would recommend stopping here for some groceries, or even a quick lunch, if you find yourself nearby!

Of course you got your standard fare at any convenience store. Beer, energy drinks, sodas, water, candy bars, lottery, cigarettes, etc... but this Hess also features a Blimpie Subs store, a Godfather's Pizza store, and a Dunkin' Donuts. But the fact that they do have all these different options instead of the standard cheapo subs in the fridge, or lukewarm pizza or hot dogs that have been sitting in a heating tray for hours and hours, makes this place a step above most other convenience stores.
