The property itself is strange and eerily looking, I'm guessing by it looks like it may have been a DQ in its past life, if it weren't for the signage and beautiful canopy over the pump isles it would look abandoned. The credit card reader and receipt dispenser worked which allowed me to exercise the self-service option without going inside - the pump latch was missing so I used my wallet to lock the nozzle during the fueling process and it worked perfect. I was in and out of here in a jiffy - I'd stop again and I recommend it especially if you don't need anything but fuel, I'll deduct a star because of the faulty latch but that shouldn't be part of your decision tree...

The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. The real stars, though, are the food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely worth the hype--fresh, tender, smoky, and piled high. Don't leave without grabbing some of their fresh jerky, either. With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to find a favorite. And then there are the bathrooms. I know it sounds strange to rave about a restroom, but Buc-ee's truly deserves the recognition. They are, without question, the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever used while traveling. That alone makes Buc-ee's a must-stop on any road trip. Even with the crowds, the employees are friendly, the checkout lines move incredibly fast, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Whether you're stopping for gas, grabbing a meal, stocking up on snacks, or just stretching your legs, Buc-ee's has turned a routine pit stop into a destination. These EV charging stations are actually covered which I appreciate. They are similar to the Travelers of America stops where you can also get something to eat and can shop for whatever you might need. Their gas of choices BP. They take Visa as their main form of payment now, and the customer service desk is always helpful with returns or questions. The only downside is that sometimes you find something you really like, go back a month later, and it's gone. Inventory can be a little inconsistent, but usually there's a similar product to try.
