I have not dined at a Ruby Tuesdays in years. We were driving home from Palm Coast and stopped at the location in St Augustine FL on SR16 near I95. We ordered the Nacho appetizer and both of us had the salad bar. Everthing was fresh and delicious. Our server Darren was great very friendly and attentive. They hit it on all marks. Glad to see that this location was doing so well and they survived the pandemic and labor shortages. Will definitely return when in the area again. read more

Our server Kat was amazing and worked really well with our large 8-person group. The food was also great with everybody being fully satisfied with their meal in a timely manner. Kat went the extra mile with their service, being diligent, kind, and fun through our meal. This is one of the few restaurants that are near our home so it is our go to place for a last minute dinner. They are always very efficient with what we order Togo. We love to add on the salad bar and load up with all the amazing 36 ingredients. I love that they have both raw and roasted broccoli. They also have the best croutons. My husband's favorite is to get the half rack of ribs. they have 4 different bbq sauces to choose from. I personally like to get the chicken or salmon to put of a loaded salad. Recently I went for Sunday lunch with my family and Austin was our server. He was attentive and very helpful making sure that I got all the lemons for my water I wanted. My wife and I are presently trying to finish up our below average lunch. We live in the area and have enjoyed the location at the Avenues mall many times. I have always enjoyed eating there and was hoping for the same here at the Hyw 16 location. Very disappointed. The place was overstaffed, and slow for a Saturday lunchtime. The salad bar was a mess, nothing looked fresh. Restrooms were dirty. Counted up to nine employees in the dining room at one time, three cleaning one table, the rest just BSing. Only eight tables were occupied. I could go on and on, but it's obvious no one has trained these people. So, I have not been to a Ruby Tuesday in as long as I can remember. I was surprised by this casual dinning experience. First, the price. Seems to me the prices are more than reasonable two entrees with tip and we left for just under $40. I had the bacon cheeseburger asked for medium rare and the cook was perfect. Juicy and good just like a burger should, and they didn't butter the bun to death either. My wife ordered the bourbon chicken with double grilled zucchini. Chicken was perfect. Moist and tender and not over flavored. Only complaint was they forgot that she substituted an extra order of zucchini for the rice pilaf. Or waitress Kaitlin quickly fixed it. I tried the rice and man was it salty!! I won't hold it against them, just be warned. Service was very good and I will happily return. read more

Driving back from Thanksgiving break we stopped off I-95 for a quick meal at Ruby Tuesday's in the St. Augustine area. I wasn't really looking forward to it but was pleasantly surprised. The Garden salad bar had a lot of variety and seemed well maintained. Salmon was fine, ribs were o.k, and service was prompt and friendly. The quality of food per the price point was a good deal. 3 stars means A-OK and that's what is was. Food could have been hotter, floor and tables could have been cleaner, restrooms could have been more refreshed..... It's not a place I'd go as a destination but I'd be happy to stop by Ruby Tuesday's again when needing a break from the highway. read more

A good salad bar craving can be satisfied at a Ruby Tuesday. I'm not too crazy about their entrees, but when I'm feeling a bit peckish for a salad and maybe a nosh then this is my go-to. To be completely honest it's always a friend who suggests we visit here so it's never on my radar unless suggested. This St. Augustine location is quite frequented by locals and travelers as it's off the interstate and tucked behind some hotels on a side road. Getting to it from SR16 is a chore (not to mention leaving and you want to go left and it's a puzzle to figure out how not to break the law doing so) but worth it due to the cleanliness, friendly service and the patrons. Specifically, Addie, was our server and she was the epitome of the perfect server. Great table side presence and manner, flawless uniform (free from stains), ideal pacing between refills and clearance, and attentive to suggestions and providing condiments when necessary. She is a true find and whenever a friend suggests Ruby Tuesday, and I'm in the St. Augustine area, I'll fight the less-than-ideal side road access to have a salad and ask for Addie. read more

Overall experience was okay. I got the salad bar that was okay at best. Had to wait on plates and most were dirty looking. Also ordered the sweet earth burger that my husband says was very good! The ruby relaxer was okay but I doubt I will order again. I would not say that this ruby Tuesday ranked less than other chain restaurants in the area. read more

I LOVE this Ruby Tuesdays! Usually always get amazing service. My fav part of R.T is definitely their salad bar, they have all the best thing to build your perfect salad. Also my kids LOVE the fruit on it! They keep their salad bar very neat and clean and always stocked full! I tried their (yellow) potato salad on it. To me was discusting. No favor, and just had a gross taste. For my meal I got the Buffalo Honey Chicken Sandwich. That was AMAZING but fair warning it is very messy! We will be back for amazing food again! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Such a disappointing first experience with this location. My family and I placed a $115 Doordash order from here for the 4th of July. When my dasher arrived at the restaurant to pick my food up they informed her that my order had been stolen and they didn't have anything to give her. She then reached out to me and I proceeded to contact the restaurant to discuss the matter. The male manager, in which I spoke to, was extremely unprofessional about the situation and in no way helpful. He told me that my order had been stolen and since the food/order had already been made, he couldn't assist me and that I would just have to get a refund from Doordash. Not once did he apologize for the situation or offer to correct it. As someone who is experienced in the restaurant industry and Doordash, he (as the manager) should have offered the option to remake our order and have us come pick it up, taking fault for the matter. I know dealing with a third party throws in some complications, but he was in no way compassionate about the situation nor offering a solution to the problem. Instead he chose to get annoyed and accusatory with a customer over a situation that was ultimately their fault. Management should be based around customer service and the young man who is in position there could use some education and training in the matter. We will never order from here again. read more

Went in for the first time in forever and I wasn't surprised it was a ghost town when I left, I ordered the sirloin. So subpar, no char, unevenly cooked, overly fatty/greasy. The fries were decent though. Will continue to avoid moving forward. read more

I was originally going to go to Cracker Barrel next-door but there was a wait and they were rude so I called here and spoke to Harris who was very inviting and funny. When I asked if they had a wait, he said "yes, waiting for you, our Customer." We arrived to be immediately greeted with a friendly smile from Harris and seated. Ashley, our sweet waitress, soon came over and gave us excellent and friendly service throughout our whole lunch. The salad bar was wonderful and even the gentleman that was refreshing it was friendly and courteous. They had boxes of gloves for people to wear before handling the utensils as they went down the line. I had the salad bar and then took their maple glaze salmon and grilled zucchini home for my dinner. I was amazed at how big the portions were. The salmon was so delicious! I don't usually even like salmon but I ate every bite. Our whole dining experience was great! My husband and I were hesitant on stopping last weekend 7-30-23 however we definitely we NOT disappointed. The Saint Augustine location on I95 was amazing. The burgers were great. Eggcellent. Brunch! Would be great on sat morning. However, if you like a bloody Mary or Mimosa with brunch, don't go on Sunday before 1:00. County ordinance prohibits sale of alcohol before then. By the way, that's the 4 instead of 5 stars. The Benedict trio was excellent; crab, chicken and steak...yum! A fabulous alternative to my all time favorite, the traditional Benedict. Side note: the crab cake was awesome. You don't find crab cakes with that much crab meat at a chain restaurant. Kudos! read more

Average chain food but they do have that salad bar. This place is a somewhat healthier choice than most other chain restaurants depending on what you order. If you're going to come here you need to try the salad bar. It's nothing extraordinary but does the job and everything is very fresh. Oddly, they didn't have cucumbers on my visit, instead offering zucchini. No idea if this was usual or they happened to be out. Otherwise, the sirloin I ordered was tasty and the zucchini was okay but a bit bland. Service was very friendly and I'd return here if I wanted a Ruby Tuesday meal. read more

We were on our way home from vacation in Hilton Head - with our dog - when we got a nail in our tire in Saint Augustine. Had to stop fast. Found the Discount Tire store and asked them for a patch. It was Saturday and they were busy. Going to be two hours plus, they said. What to do with the dog? The tire guys suggested the Ruby Tuesday next door, which has a patio. Did I mention it was 92 with a heat index of 108? They could have been rude and turned us away with our big shaggy dog. They could have said no pets, find somewhere else to go. Instead, they allowed us to sit on their patio and they invited us to open the umbrellas, and moved the table over so it would be under the awning, and brought our half-dead-from-the-heat black lab some cold water in a bowl. Kept our waters filled, brought us hot tasty food, and kept checking on us with genuine kindness. They were absolutely the nicest people ever and some of the best service I've had.
