    The food was delicious! We were all very satisfied. The service was great, I loved that out of all the restaurants I went with my ESA, this one gave us an actual water bowl for my girl! The ambiance was chill, we sat outside because we had our dog and strollers so it was nice and spacious for a bigger group. Overall recommend when you're around the outlets and need a place to eat.

    The staff are very good at this location. They provide quick service and make sure the orders come out correctly. They are real good about checking on your food once you receive it. Overall I think this is the best Sonny's in the area. Great deals on Wednesday in May.

    Sonny's BBQ is always a great choice for some yummy bbq! I love to start with the corn nuggets and ranch dipping sauce (I got excited and ate half of them before I remembered to take a photo). I also love the turkey big deal combo. I like to deconstruct my sandwich to eat it. The garlic bread is buttery and I like the sweet sauce for my turkey. I also got the green beans and they had great flavor. The food came out super quick and we had great service in a comfortable atmosphere. This is a great place to "fuel up" before/after shopping at the Outlet Mall.

    The food we got delivered was good. The onion rings in my husband's order were burnt and inedible. Do better. If we had ate there, they would have been redone.

    I swear this is the worst BBQ I've ever had .. no bark on the brisket .. no pink smoke ring ... just grey and stiff sausage was bland.. no flavor no seasoning not even a smoke flavor .. The Mac and cheese is kraft or something Beans were okay ... Only thing remotely decent was the egg rolls .. 1/10 ... would never eat here again let alone recommend it to anyone else .. it should be a crime to serve this to people ..

    I drove over to Sonny's to meet a fellow partner for lunch today. Going inside, the interior had a cozy wood shack feel to it. For lunch, I ordered the Sweet Carolina sandwich - pulled pork with coleslaw on a bun or texas toast. Moving on with my review, the food overall was great! The texas toast added a great crunch and buttery taste to contrast with the creamy coleslaw and tender saucy shreds of pork! I felt the mac n cheese was good (didn't resemble kraft lol), but could use maybe some sort of pizazz. As for service, our server was extremely attentive throughout our meal! Overall, this was my first, and won't be my last time visiting Sonny's as it was a good experience! The final rating, for now, is 4/5. Next time I'd probably do the unlimited ribs for $15.99!

    Stopped at Sonny's for a quick lunch on our way to Daytona. The servers were extremely nice. One of them shared that they were short-staffed. With that said- we knew we might have to wait a little bit. It wasn't too bad though. I had the baby back rib dinner which came with two sides and a bread. I chose fries and corn on the cob and skipped the bread. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with home made Mac and cheese. First- my ribs were delicious . I added some sweet and savory bbq sauce (which was available at the table) and they were really good. My fries were crinkle cut and they were as you would expect. The corn on the cob was well cooked, but as we are off season, it wasn't that fresh tasting. Not bad but, it wasn't memorable. My husband's pulled pork sandwich came with coleslaw on top and he said it was delicious. He added the original BBQ sauce and said it was very good. He wasn't impressed with his Mac and cheese. He had hoped it tasted more home made. The place looks new and the bathrooms are clean. The drinks come out in huge cups and the unsweetened tea was just right. We would stop at a Sonny's again. P.S. No military discount unless you're in uniform (10% on your meal if you are)

    Always like to give a shout out to places that honor veterans on Veterans day. I ordered the sliced pork sandwich and the meat was tender, not dry. Baked beans was a good sized side dish. The wait was for my takeout food was a bit long but most establishments are short-staff nowadays. They had a small bar area as well as a few picnic tables under a covered area near the entrance to promote more social distance eating. The staff and servers, while quite busy, were still polite.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

Since I eat mostly chicken at home, it's never my first choice of protein when I'm dining out. That should tell you how wowed I was by Asado Life's chicken. The entree came with a house salad which was a very generous size. I really enjoyed their house vinaigrette and the toasted breadcrumbs. The potato salad side was a bit of a miss for me. I did not eat the peppers that came on it which certainly would have added some flavor. It was not bad but needed some seasoning and salt. In retrospect, I should have asked for some of the chimichurri used on the meat trio to add to it. Service was one of the highlights of the meal. My main server Stephanie was great and the servers worked well as a team. I had two different servers deliver my cocktail and then my salad, and everyone was genuinely friendly. I already posted this review once and the owner or manager had it taken down because they didn't like my truthful post about their poorly ran restaurant. I consider that very disrespectful and misleading to everyone out here seeking honest reviews. If you want better reviews then be better. Don't doctor the stats!
