Okay here me out, I haven't been to red lobster in about 16 years but their recent sea food boils have been tempting me, so my family of 4 made our way to this location around lunch time on a weekday, and it was very chill. We were sat right away, the restaurant is large and clean and we got service right away. Our server was so nice and helpful he was awesome and omg the seafood boil was bombbbb! I also forgot just how delectable their cheddar bay biscuits are! My kids including a picky eater absolutely devoured everything we got. My daughter loved her Parmesan crusted chicken and my son was a fan of their Kraft blue box Mac n cheese. Overall it exceeded our expectations and now we're already planning our return! read more

Red Lobster closed at least 129 restaurants as part of its bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring efforts.The company was ultimately acquired by RL Investor Holdings LLC, an entity backed by Fortress Investment Group. I went in for lunch yesterday at the spectrum location and sat at a booth in the bar area. It was not overly busy. I waited 10 minutes for a server to bring me a water and take my order, as I had a limited time for lunch just like most working people on their lunch break. I then requested that the hostess re-seat me in a section that had a server that could take my order soon. After being reseated, I waited another 5 minutes and no server came to take my order. At that point I left this Red Lobster location. I gave the food rating 1 star because I received NO FOOD! I gave 1 star for the Service rating because I received NO SERVICE! I gave the atmosphere rating 1 star because there wasn't any! One would think that if a restaurant chain was in bankruptcy and ultimately sold the chain, that the new owners would strive to do better. I thought WRONG! My husband and I ate and spend enough money and time at this location. As we were leaving we noticed the server was standing at the door with her phone out recording us and yelling something we couldn't hear. We then saw her go back into the restaurant still recording us and then see her come back outside taking pictures or a video of our car and license plate. We did not appreciate that and felt very harassed . We do not understand what was wrong, we paid the bill and was nice to her the whole time we were there and had no issues during that time.We've already reached out to management and corporate about this situation and we will be not coming back to this location. Red Lobster is a chain, with a consistent menu and the food is usually pretty good too. I'm I big fan of the Coconut Shrimp. Wish they bring back the lobster roll .. perhaps some of the other branches still have it. And, let's don't forget the biscuits. Soft drinks, full bar and, of course, there always desserts. Service is generally reliable and it's difficult to write something particularly special It's a convenient an decent place to eat. First time eating at this location, and we were not disappointed! We were seated immediately, even though it was dinner time on a Friday night. I ordered the "Create Your Own Ultimate Feast" complete with crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp linguine , and shrimp scampi. For sides I ordered a baked potato and steamed broccoli. Consistently Good Service and Food We visited on a Friday evening at about 4:30 pm. This is in the Spectrum Marketplace in South Tucson. We enjoy going to Red Lobster and have visited many around the country. Fridays are always busy there and arriving before 5:00 usually ensures immediate seating. Plan to wait as you get closer to 6:00. Red Lobster has not escaped the staff shortage problem and thankfully, chooses to not fill their restaurants with diners when they are short of servers. This keeps the server:diner ratio in line with being able to provide consistently good attentive service. I applaud them for doing so. We were seated immediately in the consistently familiar and comfortable dining area. Beverages include fountain sodas, teas and full bar service. We kicked-off with the Hand-Breaded Calamari Starter. These came out quickly and were piping hot. A very large portion of lightly battered perfectly fried rings thicker than usual so they were more tasty, soft and tender with no rubber tire chewiness. Served with jalapeno ranch and marinara dipping sauces. Plenty here for 3-4 to share. For our meals, my wife opted for the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl and I chose the Shrimp and Lobster Tacos. The generous portion of soy-ginger glazed salmon was very flavorful. The brussels sprouts were halved and heavily caramelized, but not burned, and we think topped with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. The sprouts and salmon were sprinkled with crunchy crispy fried onions. The spring mix salad was fresh with a light vinaigrette. Edamame and orzo rice were included, but were not anything special. My wife really enjoyed this bowl meal. My tacos were full size tacos on grilled corn tortillas with good amounts of lobster and shrimp. The seafood was accompanied with jalapeno slaw, pico de gallo, a tasty lime crema and fresh cilantro. I found that the breading and frying overpowered the flavor of the shrimp and lobster and when topped with all the other ingredients, I got a real good south of the border flavor in my mouth just missing the seafood flavors. I brought two tacos home for next days lunch. If we had not filled up as much on the calamari, we probably would not have brought home leftovers. The portions are always large, the service was excellent and the setting is comfortable. We will visit again, but I'll pass on the tacos. read more

We came here for dinner on Valentine's Day and it was perfect! It was crowded, but we expected that. We got a seat at the bar area and we really liked our waiter - we think his name was Ryan. He felt really bad that they had run out of salmon, it's one of the things I wanted to order. He apologized and was so polite. But even though he was super busy he made sure we had everything we needed. He was very attentive. Our favorite thing to order here is the Create Your Own Combinations and we like the garlic shrimp scampi and I like to sometimes add salmon. Been here a few times. My most recent experienced was great. I stopped in for lunch. I was seated by a bunch of other seated tables. It wasn't busy but I would have preferred if they spread the tables out a little bit instead of by section. I ordered their new combo that was on the menu. Came here for Mother's Day. My mom and stepdad really enjoyed the food here. I do think the menu did shrink but probably because of the pandemic. We were still able to find everything that we liked to eat. I got my non alcoholic Bahama mama. My parents just got water/soda. Since we got there at the beginning when it first opened that day we were able to get served quickly with drinks. Also we're able to order food in a timely manner and get it out to us. The food was super delicious. My parents loved their food. I took some of my food home due to getting so stuffed so quickly and ate the food later for a dinner meal. The server was super fast when getting the orders in. So we were probably in there a max an hour from being sat to leaving. Definitely would recommend to anyone. We had maybe three people waiting on us, so I felt we had pretty good service since when one would forget something the other would pick it up. This was a great example of team work! All of the employees were friendly, and the food presentation was beautiful, and tasted amazing. We all left with a full belly and a happy spirit. Definitely must recommend this Red Lobster to anyone who loves seafood. My only gripe was that I didn't have the best phone service while inside. But I don't know if it was because we drove from Tucson to Phoenix and so my service was just struggling to keep up, or what the deal was. Hopefully the locals have less phone issues than I did. Just came back from Easter dinner at Red Lobster, its our family tradition which started by my mother and since she's passed we continue to keep it in her honor. We visited Sunday at around 2pm Our experience didn't start off so great. Our party of 6 was seated, and were left waiting for at least 15 minutes for anyone to follow up with us on drinks or anything. We finally got someone's attention and they apologized as their communication was off. After we ordered drinks and food (as we had waited a long enough time to decide what to eat) the manager came over to apologize and offered us an appetizer on the house. This was much appreciated because most restaurants wouldn't do something like that. As far as the food, everything was very good and came out to us super quick even tho it wasn't too busy. We ordered the clam chowder (a little salty but good), the lobster Mac n cheese, the (2) Admiral's feast (the fried scallops were tiny and the fried lobster was also small and mostly breading) bit it comes with a salad and a side which was definitely a feast. Oh and of course, the appetizer was on point. It included 4 cooked plain shrimp served on ice, 4 stuffed cheese mushrooms, and 4 coconut shrimp. I felt that a lot of the food was over-salted and over-compensated for the lack in quality. The Restaurant: The restaurant was clean, restrooms were adequately maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive which was a plus while I was there. The Food: Ordered the Admirals Feast, wife ordered the Salmon with Salad and the kids had chicken tenders and grilled chicken. Had the "new" side of green beans with mushrooms but green beans you can tell were older and over cooked. Food was just "ok" Should you go: If you really really like this restaurant...go. Had the awesome 4 course meal which consists of a soup with three to choose from, a salad, your main meal for which I chose the Cajun chicken pasta & to top it off you also get a desert!! The spicy chicken tortilla soup is very tasty & hits the spot just right. More than enough food the portion size is plenty although the desert is a bit small; but by the time desert comes you'll surely be too full so get it to go like I did :)!!!
