I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The meal lacked flavor, and it was burned meat some of the items did not seem fresh. I was hoping for a much better dining experience based on the reviews I had read. The staff was polite, but the quality of the food was not worth the price. I hope the restaurant improves its food because it has the potential to be much better. On picture #1 that is supposed to be adovada (tender pork marinated in rich red chile sauce) this was marinated with charcoal. Never again! read more

I would have given a higher rating but the service was not horrible, they took so long to get our sushi out to us that we had to go up to ask them if they forgot about our order... We ate at the location inside American eat company, but it's the same menu, and I cannot find that location on Yelp, so I am basing my review off the other location but I'm sure this one is just as good! We were so impressed by the beautiful presentation of the food itself. Our food was so fresh, and the shrimp and oysters were not scrawny at all. Everything is so hooked up, so although it's pricy, you get your money's worth. I enjoyed each item a lot and the hot sauce was very delicious drizzled on everything. Only had the Michelada but it was delicious. We got it with a modelo but you can pick from their beer choices. It comes with some Mexican candy, celery, and a shrimp. It's pretty expensive but a fun splurge. read more

This place is tucked away next to an ups and a 99 cent store. I absolutely can say once I opened the doors I was transported to a cute botanical garden. The vibe here is so adorable and fun, the servers are sweet and personable. The drinks are beautifully crafted and presented. The food is fantastic and everything tasted scrumptious. Went to the new location on Valencia and I was super upset. Walked in to super cute vibes and decor only to have really crappy service. We asked for water about 3 times and still didn't get the water brought to us u til we asked the 4th time. The service was slow for not even being busy and did not appreciate the looks on the staffs faces when asking where my daughters food was that I ordered with our drinks and we had been sitting for about an hour already. The food was good however, the price of the food on the menu does not match what is on your receipt. The receipt is more than what reflects on the menu so please watch out for that! I will continue going to the other 2 locations but as far as this new one on Valencia it was a first and a last. read more

Cute Vibe, HORRIBLE service! We had a party of 10 adults and 1 child, after we were seated and waited about 30 minutes the waitress said she could not take our order because the table had 11 and could only have 10. So either we wait for another table to open to split our group or someone leave. This place could be a really cool place, but unfortunately the service kills it. read more

I have only eaten here one time so far but WOW their shrimp cocktail is amazing! Tastes like what I have gotten in Penasco and equally generous with their shrimp. The pieces are large and the flavor is plain delicious. Two of us shared this cocktail and some tacos and it was perfect. They have taken over the original bar area at American Eat and when I walked over from the newer bar they were packed so I was very excited to try them. They were working non stop as it seemed everyone wanted something from them and for good reason. Service was quick and precise, they delivered the cocktail within 15 minutes even though they said it might take a while. I can't wait to go back for more :) read more

horrible. never coming back. The workers were great but you can tell the owners treat their employees horribly. my Family and I went in a big group to eat. Unfortunately a Tree fell on an employees car outside. She still made sure we were taken care of before checking on her car. The owner proceeded to WHISTLE at her like a dog and yelled at her to come back inside. like YELLED at her infront of everyone and caused such a disturbance that made me or my family not want to come back EVER. Your employees are what make your restaurant and you made you and your restaurant look bad. I feel horrible because I believe that the owner will See this and still blame his employee instead of take any accountability. horrible read more

The food was good, but the service SO BAD. I went there to get lunch with my family and they take so long to take our order, the server was so informal. Then, we ask to pay and she took forever because she was talking and gossiping. We were literally standing by the table waiting for the bill. She took our card and at a moment to pay she keep talking and we still waiting standing at the table with my baby. Horrible service! read more

I absolutely love this place... their dishes are traditional Mexican fresh seafood but the way they are styled and prepared is completely out of the box and innovative. The only drawback is that the servers are not continuously coming back to the customers...we're having to wait to ask for another beer or ask for a napkin etc. I've also observed a few different times some of the servers not wearing their face mask properly and playing with your long beautiful hair putting it up in a bun behind the counter.! I just feel that I could give you five stars but I won't for that reason because you need to work on that... it's a simple fix .. UPDATE: The restaurant responded to my complaint via Instagram and had offered their apologies as well as a refund. I believe it may have been a one time occurrence and I judged them too harshly. ------------------ I was excited to try this place after seeing their instagram pictures of delicious Mexican sea food. I was utterly disappointed and DISGUSTED when I was about to plate my tostada with ceviche from the to-go tub they provided and noticed a fly was in the ceviche. The fly was dead, clearly indicating it had been there a while. I am not going to visit again and I encourage everyone to fully inspect their food before consuming if they do, something that shouldn't be required when eating out. The seafood here is sooo good. I love getting the botana mixta which comes with cooked shrimp, pulpo, raw scallops, avocado, cucumber and onion. They serve it with Mayo, crackers and tostadas on the side. Honestly I've never had a bad meal here though so I'm sure everything on the menu is good! read more

Definitely the best mariscos in town and the portions are HUGE. I can usually finish a molcajete of mariscos, but I wasn't able to finish this one because they are ginourmous and FILLED with all different kinds of seafoods (if that's what you order). We went there and they charge us other price that the menu and they didn't say nothing before they charge my card and when I went to tell her that she charge me 14.99 instead 9.99 she said that the menu was not updated but that was the price !
