The baked potato had a weird taste we spent around $75.00 for no good food . I can see why the restaurant was soo empty we were the only customer there. Definitely not what it used to be. Today's lunch was less than exemplary. This Red Lobster is worn and aged. It has seen better days. In fact, the first time I ever experienced Red Lobster here in AZ, was here. Their dining was slow. No waiting to get seated. Their server was kind and alert. We ordered the southwest taco trio with a Caesar salads. My companion chose tilapia and I the shrimp. The salads both had some dead leaves of lettuce, lots of croutons, and drenched in dressing. We couldn't finish them. That server apologized and brought the manager and we were given a discount on our whole ticket. Next, came the tacos. My companion's tilapia tacos had a slab of charbroiled fish on top of the whole taco. So, he was able to see the display of the char on the fish. However, this made the whole experience of eating unbalanced. You got a mouthful of fish in one bite and the next was a bit of salsa and peppers. Personally, I think displaying the tilapia mixed in with the salsa would have been more appetizing. The shrimp tacos were mixed well. But clearly the dressing was heavy-handedly delivered. I lost the shrimp flavor and only tasted the sauce/ dressing. My companion, who is also a line cook for another restaurant explained that this happens when the line cook is in a hurry and using a squeeze bottle to dress the tacos. We chose to do the call ahead seating for a table of 6. It told us 30-40 minutes. We arrived and checked in in 30 minutes. The hostess checked the table area and told us our table was ready. We were then told they made a mistake and there was a table of 6 ahead of us. We were understanding and waiting patiently in our car for another 15-20 minutes. When we went back in to check the status of our table, a server made his introduction in a rude way and said there were still tables ahead of us. We were told this time there was a table of 5 ahead of us. We offered to sit at two booths at this point due to the time and an early flight the next morning. 5 and 9 year old with a pregnant wife and this server was still chiming in saying there were too many tables ahead of us. Not even your job buddy, go refill some drinks. Now waiting at least 2 hours we decided to leave. I may never visit a Red Lobster again. The way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous. COVID or no COVID there is no excuse for the utter lack of customer service. The hostess that I first spoke with was the only employee that knew how to talk to a customer. read more

The Location: In the Tucson Spectrum Shopping Area closest to the interstate and places like Discount Tire The Skinny: Would I got back here again? Probably Not unless I had a gift card. I felt that a lot of the food was over-salted and over-compensated for the lack in quality. The Restaurant: The restaurant was clean, restrooms were adequately maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive which was a plus while I was there. The Food: Ordered the Admirals Feast, wife ordered the Salmon with Salad and the kids had chicken tenders and grilled chicken. Had the "new" side of green beans with mushrooms but green beans you can tell were older and over cooked. Food was just "ok" Should you go: If you really really like this restaurant...go. This was supposed to be a celebration meal. It turned out to be the worst meal at red lobster we have ever experienced. I ordered my normal ultimate feast, my kids orders the burgers and my husband the lobster Alfredo. The drinks we ordered were delicious then our meal came out and it was cold. Even the potatoes were cold. It was so cold it didn't seemed cooked. I asked the waitress 3 times if it was cooked or warmed and she said it was. I proceeded to try to eat it and I bit into the lobster tail and it was not cooked. I asked the waitress to please take my food back and warm it and she kept telling me she couldn't because it would be thrown away due to contamination. I understand but I also was there to a decent meal. I ended up eating only biscuits and a lobsterita and paid like $45 for my food. I told her to go ahead and throw it away. I received enough Red Lobster Gift cards this Xmas I had to come and try it. After all it has been years since I visited a RedLobster and yet I still remember their Cheddar Bay biscuits, so good. Thankfully the biscuits were still of excellent make but there were a few things that concerned me. My garden salad had cucumbers cut into tiny squares that made it hard to get on my fork with the tomato and lettuce. It was more like garden salsa than salad. The weak colored iceberg lettuce was also a distraction, but the vinaigrette was the more health conscious choice among the dressings and tasty. I ordered a Malibu Hurricane with my Lobster Stuffed mushrooms and Calimari Appetizer. My hurricane was ungodly sweet although I'm told that is what one expects from a hurricane. The mushrooms were delicious and the lobster tasty but it's presentation was lacking in that in seemed to barely fill the space of the dish it was served it making it feel overpriced. The Calimari was served with fried broccoli and red peppers which was a strange combination. The marinara was watery and bland, the ranch was weak and tasted more like plain mayonnaise than ranch and the tartar sauce did nothing to redeem it. Aioli is what should always be served with Calimari, always!!! My fire grilled meal however was very tasty, the Lobster and Scallops very good, but my shrimp had a rated more like cocktail shrimp which to me is a sign of aged shrimp. Actually it was a sign they were frozen, as parts were not even warm compared with the fiery outside. My pilaf rice tasted like a microwaved bag of Uncle bens. Overall I paid 90$ dollars for 2 for a meal that was lackluster, underwhelming and had signs that the restaurant did not value freshness, presentation, or innovative vigor. Dardens restaurants are fine with processed, frozen, and bland meals that are way overpriced. I'm sorry to see you go but then again I'm not. And for Christ sake parents don't let your kids play tablet games in a restaurant, It sooo annoying and loud!!!! read more

Arrived on Friday right between the lunch and dinner crowds and was immediately able to get a table for two. They have a lot of new weekday deals that I hadn't know about. But we were glad to find them! My mother and I both had the jumbo coconut shrimp and were in love with it. Entrees come with the cheddar bay biscuits (why we really come here!) and a salad. Our server was amazing. Food was amazing. The table right behind us was terrible though! The woman began complaining that her fried fish "didn't look like the picture" and her very, very attentive server asked her if she'd like them to fry up a new piece. The patron said no. But later she asked to speak to the manager. This patron proceeds to tell the manager that she isn't happy because the fish doesn't look exactly like the picture--everyone, be advised those are professional photos and fish may vary a bit!--and then begins to tell lies about the server. She says the server "blew her off" which was 100% not true. The manager handles this with the upmost dignity and offers to make a fish-fry-to-go for the woman. She then says "well we were also going to order chicken tenders to go." Yikes! The manager ends up giving them a free fish and chips as well as a free chicken tenders kids meal to go. What the hell? The food is "awful" yet you're going to take two more dishes home?! I asked my server to call the manager over once the table left, and then told the manager that her server had indeed been wonderful and had offered the table a piece of extra fish already. I couldn't live with myself had that server gotten in trouble for this lady's lies. Luckily, the manager realized that the angry patron really just wanted to get two free kids meals to take home, and knew the server had done all she could. Five star experience at my table. Five stars for how this manager and server dealt with a ridiculously picky (and I would say 'scammer') patron. I'll definitely support this place again. read more

I really dislike this restaurant. Full disclosure I am from Massachusetts so that may play into the seafood situation. Last time I was there my husband and I want to sit in the bar booths instead of the restaurant side. There were three booths empty but dirty. When we mentioned this to the hostess she told us to sit at the bar instead of offering to clean one of the booths for us. My husband insisted on a booth. When we were seated the table was wet and the last persons check folder was still on the table. The check sat there until we were done eating and my husband told them they might need it. Took my husband there for his birthday. We both ordered the Wednesday special: steak and lobster. I had lobster mashed potatoes, he had regular mashed. We both ordered our steaks medium. Mine came well done, his came medium well. Steaks were tough and waitress did not bring steak knives. Had to ask and wait. She seemed to be new and not well trained. Although Red Lobster is a chain, it never fails me. I am not a sea food person but the chicken strips are great and always crispy. The fresh baked cheddar bread is a must! It goes great with any meal and is always so warm that it will just melt in your mouth. All you can eat shrimp is awesome. I won't order it, but my friends have and I take a little bit. My favorites are the coconut shrimp and the teriyaki. This is a nice, new restaurant on the south side of town. You may have a bit of a wait on the weekend (like most places). read more

The food was excellent. We did a take out order. The bartender who took the order was busy and it was a good sized order. He forgot the dessert, so we had to go back to get it. The Manager, Eve, saved the day for us. She went out of her way to make sure we got the dessert and an extra one just for the trouble. The timing of drinks, asking for order, keeping the drinks full, serving the food, taking empty plates. Service was awesome. The food, well, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the half salmon - wood grilled with broccoli. The salmon was super moist and cooked exactly as it should have been. Even the broccoli was good. Not mushy, not undercooked. i always thought the Red Lobster ads on TV made the food look much better than it really was....maybe that's still true in some of their restaurants. But this new one off I-19 South in the Spectrum Center is a keeper. The food arrived in a timely manner and was hot and good. The servers were attentive and courteous. Nice and clean decor and lots of great seafood choices. You get a big basket of buttered biscuits and boy, are they good! I'd recommend the giant coconut shrimp. Yum! Save some bucks by having lunch and not dinner. All in all a very nice dining experience. We shall return. read more

Red Lobster is good but not great, everything is so overpriced. It appears to be a fancy resturant,very beautiful and pleasing to the eyes and the staff is nice and welcoming. I had a strawberry lemonade, which was delicious, my mother got Bohama Moma, and her boyfriend got a Mojito. He said it wasn't the beat Mojito he ever had and to be honest i was disappointed there wasn't free refills on my strawberry lemonade, especially considering how much it cost! They served our salads and like another comment said, the cucumbers were cut SO small i couldn't even stab my fork through it to eat it with my tomato and lettuce and there was barley any ranch on it. The bread was very good though. Our whole party ordered the new Shrimp Fiesta. It was a LOT of food, i didn't care for the rice they served with it. It barley had a taste. I think there was like 8 different Shrimp to choose from and my mother's boyfriend chose his two, and when they served his plate it was the wrong shrimp! He was bummed, the waiter said shed bring the one he ordered out in a couple minutes but it didn't come out until we were done eating and ready to go (my mom shared her food with him since it was so much for her!) But yeah, our waiter was nice and it wasn't her fault, i guess the cook "read the order wrong". We decided to eat out last Friday and chose Red Lobster as we had a gift card. We had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated. We ordered two appetizers, the lobster, crab and seafood stuffed mushrooms and the lobster, artichoke and seafood dip. The mushrooms were OK, a bit greasy and a small portion. The dip was pretty good. Two of us ordered the fish and chips. I do not eat salad and was not offered a replacement. For the prices charged, they could offer a substitution. I was really disappointed. The plate came with the fish on top of the fries which tends to make the fries soggy although in this case, it wouldn't have made much difference because the fries were underdone. The plate came with only one piece of fish and it was just OK. The best thing was the drinks, I had a Bahama Mama and another party member had a mudslide. Probably won't visit again. read more

Rarely go to Red Lobster as I always feel oily or greasy when I leave. This time I was pleasantly surprised as the food was really good. Unfortunately the service was substandard. My wife and I always split meals because we can no longer eat the large portions. I think the waiter took our request to split as a sign we were cheap skates and treated us accordingly.
