On Friday, November 7, my brother, a retired Navy Veteran, invited me out to lunch at Red Lobster, in Branson, MO. Branson has touted their celebration of Veterans from November 5 - 11, 2014. Most restaurants and theaters are offering our precious Veterans discounts, free desserts or free meals. I mentioned this to our server, Katie. She knew NOTHING about it and said she would discuss it with her supervisor. She returned to say they were NOT participating. That on the actual Veterans day they would probably allow the Veterans to receive a FREE dessert. I worked in a restaurant in Branson and know for a fact that at ANY time the supervisor or manager has it within their power to provide a discount to whomever they wish. Many entertainers in Branson receive automatic discounts. Most seniors receive discounts. So, it was well within the power of a supervisor or manager at Red Lobster on that day, to provide some sort of a discount, even if it were ONLY 10%. To say that I'm VERY disappointed in Red Lobster is an gross understatement. Their food and service and quality has always been excellent. But, in the regards of honoring our Veterans, I'm supremely disappointed in Red Lobster's lack of acknowledgment! No one from management even came over to the table to make their excuses or to thank my brother for his service. It will be quite some time before I take my business back to Red Lobster. First off, when we got there we had to wait ten minutes for a table. Our waiter Serge, had a bit of an attitude. I asked him how much a margarita was, and he didn't give a clear price. My friend had her baby with her, he should have immediately got a high chair, but he didn't. My friend had to go to the next table and get it herself. We had to wait a bit for our food, which is understandable. But the issue came when it was time to get our deserts. We all ordered a brownie with ice cream. I don't know how long it takes to make a brownie with ice cream, but we waited almost twenty minutes for this desert. We never got a clear answer on why our deserts took so long. We asked for biscuits twice in between meals, and we got that on time. Since we didn't get our desert, we asked for the check. Serge never tried to rectify the situation, nor apologized. He gave us the check and walked off. We had to pay another waiter. I would not recommend this place. read more

My wife was waiting in line to get a table and the hostess was ignoring her. Hostess asked the lady behind and beside my wife how many in the party and my wife spoke up about being ignored and the hostess still ignored us. We left and found somewhere else to go. The service was terrible, and the food as well. We were kept waiting 30 minutes after being told our food was done they were just waiting on one dish. The food came out cold and with dried out noodles. The seafood in the stuffed mushrooms tasted chewy and old. The waitress was kind of rude to us and told us she didn't want to be working that night. The biscuits were the only good thing about the visit. Then they were using the push vacuum under our table while we were still there, when we would have already left if our food had come out in a timely fashion. If you want good food and/or good service we had better of both at Denny's. read more

Dinner was at Red Lobster tonight. Salads were great, really fresh and cold. We had the shrimp trio for an appetizer. It was exceptionally good. The coconut shrimp and the shrimp stuffed mushrooms were so hot we had to let them cool down. The shrimp cocktail was perfectly chilled and impeccably cleaned. Both entrées were great except the green beans. The green beans were terrible, stringy and rubbery. Did not eat them. Lawson was our server and the service was just barely acceptable. He ignored me and only addressed my husband. He didn't refill my drink until my husband asked him. He could definitely work on his people skills. read more

Restaurant smelt "fishy" as soon as we walked through the door. Waiter kept forgetting things we asked for. Walts shrimp and popcorn shrimp was all over cooked. Tea had a funny taste. Was NOT the typical Red Lobster food or service we are use to. read more

I am 83 years of age and have eaten in more than 100 different Red Lobsters in more than 20 states and this one in Branson mo is the worst one that I have been in. First There was no wall outlet to plug my portable oxygen concentrator or any care or concern for disabled. I usually order the Admirals Feast and with salad and fries and this time as well. I have generally ranked most Red Lobsters with 4 or 5 stars but not this one. I talked to the manager and found he was not interested in disabled. The salad came out and consisted of one large chunk cut off head of lettuce with several small chunks and several small pieces and no fresh tomatoes which I sent back and told them I would do without salad. I had ordered the fish, shrimp, etc crispy and well done. In other locations it has usually been near perfection but After a few bites I found it terrible and sent it back and decided to go nearby to Cracker Barrel which was up to my expectations. Terrible Red Lobster. Actually I used to live in Forsyth near Branson more than 20 years ago and had an engineering and real estate office, TLC, on the strip in Branson and left when my wife had stroke and I placed her in nursing home and tended her until she passed 3 years ago. I am making this review for best interests of residents and hopefully will result in improvement for the public that I served during my professional careers. read more

While eating at the Red Lobster in Branson, Missouri, on 11.29.2014, my party of 7 received the worst service and treatment (lower than a one star rating) from the waitress who complained and whined the whole time that she was called in to work on her day off. We had to ask for biscuits several times and were told the food was on the way out, for over 30 minutes before cold food and an inedible burger came out. They were out of salmon so substituted tilapia with no compensation for having to have a cheaper type fish. We were there until closing due to the terrible service and the lady with the sweeper would not let us pass to go to the restroom. There were no paper towels in the men's restroom and we were there over 2 hours waiting for our food. At one point the waitress asked a member of our party why he was looking at her like she was retarded when he asked about a menu selection. How exactly do you look at someone that way? We ordered 2 orders of mushrooms which did not come out until our food did and she only brought out one order. We had to ask for the second order which took another 15 minutes. She did not charge us for them only due to the horrible service getting them out to us. It was a terrible experience and we have always gotten great service at red lobsters in Baton Rouge and Florida! This was a SAD spot for our otherwise great vacation to Branson! Went here today 6/20/15. We were seated right away, Everyone was very polite. Russ was our waiter/server and her did an AWESOME job!! We got our drinks and appetizer at a very reasonable time, our meal came also at reasonable time and the food was just out of this world!! Very good. Went 4 PM Thursday got right in. Katie was decent. No second set of Rolls (I Know right!!). All you can eat Shrimp going on now for like 17 bucks a person. read more
