Angelica was so attentive, so helpful with choices, and such a wonderful young lady. Ask for her when you go. The thing that kept this review from being a five star was the hostess. We have become sick and tired of going to a "nice" restaurant and dropping over a hundred bucks for mediocre food. We are in Branson and after a show we wanted something to eat after a show. We chose Cheddars. It was very good. My fried chicken, gravy, and mashed potatoes was excellent. My wife had the vegetable plate and really enjoyed it. They bring a sweet cinnamon tart to the table right off. They were delicious. Again, the food was great, but even better...our server. Angelica was a treat with a beautiful smile. This place is unfortunately one of the few places opened later. Our service was terrible this time. Our waitress came and took our order dropped off the drinks and didn't come back until we had our food. The person dropped off our food and took off without asking if we needed anything. We had ordered a flavored lemonade it tasted like water with a splash of lemon and you couldn't even taste the flavor we picked. So we had nothing to drink until part way through the meal. OMG AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!!! Never been to a Cheddars before and wanted something non-bar food and on the healthier side and this was a total homerun! It was 45 minutes before closing time (long baseball day) so we sat at the bar to be quick and get out of the way and Kevin C was our bartender and server and super friendly and welcoming, had great recommendations. We went with his suggestions of the grilled chicken pecan salad (with ranch dressing) & the Key West, chicken and shrimp, which were both a total hit and I could not put my fork down! 10 STARS!!!! Then he brought out the honey butter, croissants, and... Game over! Will absolutely definitely be back, even though we're only here for a few more days, probably will come back twice! The only things that were a miss were the loaded baked potato was just meh and very basic boring wine list but everything else was fabulous and I cannot wait to eat here again and will recommend to everybody I know! you been to a Cheddars before? If so then this place will not disappoint if you liked it. If you didn't like your previous experience at a Cheddars then try this location anyway. We found it the best Cheddars we've ever been to and this would make....number 4, I think? It's relatively new so it's still very nice on the inside, the atmosphere is really good. Nice and comfortable. The service was nice. We went a little later in the day so it was the time where servers are getting a little tired but we still had great service. Our server was very personable and treated us very well. Refills came quickly. Food was good. On par for Cheddars. Other reviewers have commented enough on it so I won't bother, but we were very happy with our food. I say give it a go. Will we be back? Definitely. We originally tried eating here over the holiday weekend, but it was quite popular and we didn't fancy a long wait, went somewhere else, and came back on a weekday. The hosts and server were very friendly and helpful. I got the walnut salad, my younger son got Alfredo from the kid's menu, and my older son got a burger and fries. We also shared the Buffalo shrimp appetizer. The bathroom was clean and the decor was like a steakhouse, so just a little above your typical fast-casual restaurant. Everything was pretty good, but I wouldn't get the shrimp app again. They were big and meaty, but the Buffalo sauce was mostly sitting in the bottom of the dish. Maybe having it in a bowl to dip would work better than drizzling over the top of the breading? The crescent rolls were flakey and buttery, and the salad had a good mix of flavors and textures. I got the bleu cheese dressing, but it didn't taste strongly of cheese, it was fairly neutral. Glad we went back and gave it a try. Oh and the watermelon in my drink was so fresh and cool and crispy... perfect start to dinner after a long hot day of playing. And the waiter kept a GREAT eye on our water. Immediately upon walking in a notice, the decorations that were turning and hanging from the ceiling. I had to get a better look. Someone greeted me right away. I was told there would be about a ten minutes wait. Looking around at the decor, I kept wondering what that was turning hanging from the ceiling. My guess is that it was some type of boat propeller.
