While traveling on business, I wanted to try some local cuisine. I decided to try Cheddars Scratch Chicken. It has some good reviews. Immediately upon walking in a notice, the decorations that were turning and hanging from the ceiling. I had to get a better look. Someone greeted me right away. I was told there would be about a ten minutes wait. Looking around at the decor, I kept wondering what that was turning hanging from the ceiling. My guess is that it was some type of boat propeller. But I'm unsure. The food was great. I could definitely go there again in the future. The drinks were great. The food was delicious. You can never go wrong with Cheddars. The complimentary glazed croissants and the Monte Cristo are always my go to!!! Listen, it's not the healthiest food, but it's tastes soooo good, and I'm clearly not the only person that thinks so by all the other people around me that I wasn't affiliated with, that we're eating the same thing. It's a good book (haven't read it, but they made a movie out of it) and it's a good sandwich, and to top it off they dust it with powdered sugar. Anything dusted with powered sugar is legit. My wife had the white fish, rice, and a salad, she commented on how good it was to me both while we were there and again later. I tried the New Orleans style pasta. I was pleasantly surprised, it had shrimp, chicken and sausage and peppers over penne pasta. It was spiced well to the point it was tasty and not too spicy.
