We frequently visit Mountain Top for Breakfast! With spectacular views and amazing ! The food is always amazing and we are always greeted with a smile and sometimes a hug from Sheila! Amanda is always amazing and one of our favorite bartenders in town, Lance knows, how to make a bloody Mary! If you're looking for a suggestion, try the breakfast burrito our go to, (we miss the toast) but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Food was ready fast, amazing view, fast service, food was hot and delicious, nice waiters

I actually heard about this place scrolling on tik tok looking for things to do in Branson and I'm…read moreso glad I found it! The staff are students working to pay for their college tuition so the service was great! The food was good (most ingredients on site also made by students) portions were huge, the price was decent, place was clean and much better then any touristy type restaurant near or on the strip, so much so we came here for dinner 2 nights in a row. The students are so interactive if you ask them questions and they also have the place they are from on their name tags which can be conversation starters. It does take them a little time to get through service so make sure you have a little time to wait. They serve 2 types of bread with bread service and 3 different butters alongside those. The apple butter was delicious. The first night I had the meatloaf which was very good. The second night I had their special for the night which was a stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese, vinegar potatoes and some mixed veggie side that was delicious. There is also a store area where you can buy student made items to take home with you. I wish we had a program like this near us because we would support it frequently. Definitely make reservations and give this place a try.

The staff are students working to pay for their tuition. It is a large elegant building with plenty of room for groups, but at times there is a wait. We had the chicken fried chicken and the meatloaf entrees. Both were served with green beans and mashed potatoes. They offer complimentary bread with three types of butter. We really enjoyed the apple butter! And dessert is not to be missed. We had the apple pie, and it was delicious, and more than enough for the two of us. You can peruse the shop before or after your meal to see some of the student made products.

This spot has the best reviews of anywhere connected to Big Cedar, and it's easy to see why. The atmosphere, situated overlooking the lake in a former railroad magnate's summer home, is top tier. You can imagine the parties thrown here in the 1920's. The ambiance adds so much, but the food was stellar as well. The bread service included some kind of cheddar cheese bread (I think?) that was delicious. I ordered a classic ceasar salad that was very good, and the bison tenderloin which was absolutely the right call for what I was after. It was perfectly cooked (I went medium), over rosemary whipped potatoes with broccolini. It was so flavorful, and so filling in a good way too. No frou-frou sized portions here. Service was wonderful, as we lingered and drank wine, then capped our meal off with an apple strudel, topped with vanilla ice cream. The whole space was so cool, including the cocktail bar downstairs, which is must-visit in my opinion. A highly memorable date night, and world's better than all the other restaurants around!

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservations, the place was pretty empty however they still made us wait until 5 minutes after our reservation time. We had requested a window seat which quite a few were available and they tried to seat us elsewhere! Already I had a bad taste and I hadn't even sat down. After about 3 more minutes she seated us by the window. We were there for a friend's birthday celebration and wanted it to be special. Her husband told the server. My husband ordered the Worman's Manhattan. He really enjoyed the current infused rye whiskey in it. It added a very unique flavor to the drink. We were brought a complimentary chef's taste of a goat cheese on a small bagette and small glass of sparkling wine. My husband ordered the seafood pot pie and I had the French onion soup and winter spice cranberry salad. The soup was very good and flavorful but the salad was average and definitely not worth the price. My husband enjoyed the seafood pot pie. It was a very generous serving . He shared some with me. It was very rich and creamy. I didn't particularly like the mussels and clams still in their shells inside the" pie" however the pot pie is just pastry crust over a cast iron pan with the creamed sea food. After the meal we were given some stale macaroons with filling that tasted like frosting. There was No acknowledgement of my friend's birthday. We decided to walk down to see Harry's cocktail bar downstairs before calling our shuttle. The manager came into the bar in a bit of a hurried frenzy as we were walking out and asked if it was someone's birthday. We pointed to our friend and he told her happy birthday and then left?!?! Overall I was disappointed in the experience for the amount of money we spent.

Let's get right to it this place feels overpriced for what you're getting. The food comes off very commercial, chain-style, nothing that really stands out or justifies the cost. It fills you up, but it's not something you're thinking about the next day. The bowling side? It's decent, but nothing special mid-level entertainment at best. Good for killing time, not necessarily a destination experience. Now where it does get some points the decor. If you're into sea creatures, underwater themes, that whole aquatic vibe... this place actually delivers. It's unique, it's fun to look at, and honestly probably the highlight of the visit. But then... the bar. $$$ There's a noticeable stale peanut smell, and it's pretty clear a few too many beers have been spilled into that rug over time. It just gives off a slightly off, worn-in feel that takes away from the experience.

We initially went to their old (closed) location in downtown Branson by mistake, but I called the number on the Yelp listing and got the address of their new location in Hollister. It was a quick ride over to the new building. When we arrived, we ordered at the counter and waited at the table for our food. Everything they were cooking smelled wonderful. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We all ordered meatball subs and WOW, they did NOT disappoint! The meatballs were phenomenal! They might be the best I've ever had. So delicious! If they weren't closed the next day, we would've been back for more. While waiting for our food, we were greeted by the lady who makes the meatballs. She was so nice. You can tell they all enjoy working there. There are photos of the family on the wall. It was really a nice, peaceful place to chill and grab a bite. It allowed us a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of Branson. The owner has a YouTube channel where she showcases her cooking if you want to check it out. Her cooking style is "FED" (Fast, Easy, Delicious): https://www.youtube.com/@MyCookingNookFEDUp. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and tidy. There's a main dining room and 3 other rooms that branch off of the main dining area, so there's plenty of room if you have a few extra people with you. We are really looking forward to visiting again on our next Branson trip.
