This was a shocking surprise. This is an upscale restaurant with food prepared by a chef similar to what we would have at our luxury country club in the city. The stake and fish were amazing. They also had a large wine selection. We were there in the winter, but it looks like they have a large deck that overlooks the lake as well, which might be nice in the summer. read more

I don't even know where to start. The food was so amazing! I now don't have to drive all the way to Florida to get my favorite pasta dish. Perfect al dente. Amazing charcuterie board. This is next level for Southwest Missouri. Emily was unbelievably accommodating and the view is maybe the best in Missouri. We had the best time here. When we arrived, they greeted us like they already knew us and the enthusiasm from the staff continued throughout our experience. First of all, the view is breathtaking and certainly adds to the experience. They have a nice assortment of indoor and outdoor seating, including lounge areas on their patio great for groups and small tables for a more intimate romantic dinner. They have an impressive wine selection and I enjoyed the Malbec that I had. The arancini was cooked perfectly and delicious. Probably my biggest recommendation is the pepperoni flatbread. I'm torn, because I want to give this place really high reviews. Making everything from scratch is commendable. However... I was disappointed in the Pomodoro. I felt that it was very bland. There wasn't much tomato sweetness or acidity or boldness. The pasta was average. The flavor profile (or really lack thereof) was very one-note. The focaccia's dough structure and texture could have been a bit better too. I was actually more impressed with the flavor profile of my friend's dish. She ordered the gigante beans. Overall, for the price of the food and what it was, I probably wouldn't go back. For those of you that have had pasta in places like Boston, this might be a let down. read more

What a beautiful spot ! We sat outside and had wine and appetizers. We were disappointed the live music was inside even though it was nice weather out. Our meals came and several that had added chicken to their dish were disappointed to find it was dark and white meat with some gristle in the dishes. meals were served with focaccia but nothing to put on it. We asked for olive oil and were told we couldn't have any. So we asked for some butter and some extra horseradish for a prime rib. Surprised there was extra charge for both of those. Not sure I've ever been charged for butter in any restaurant that served bread. Also, with a menu full of pasta dishes, it was very surprising they wouldn't serve us some olive oil for dipping. These things all distinguish good service from great service. We had to ask for dishes to be cleared., napkins to put silverware on an outside table. Would probably return for a drink and appetizer but not for a meal. read more

Thank my foodie angels that Cellar 417 opened in the old Vino Cellar building in Branson west. We are limited in quality restaurants here and Vino's was the only wine shop serving good apps. When they closed, Michelle, a loyal patron bought it and lured her son Travis, a seasoned chef with experience in Michelin Star restaurants in Chicago and Belgium I believe. My first visit the Scallops were "off the hook", served on risotto with a basil aoili oil cooked to perfection. A nice wine selection is available by the glass and bottle with a retail wine shop as well with more choices. Second time we walked in 15 minutes before closing and awesome bartender Gemma said the kitchen just closed. But Travis came out and said "I will feed you - what would you like". I told him two orders of scallops and the were served in less than 10 minutes. Back a 4th time I tried the homemade tagliatelle with Beef Cheek Sugo - really! In Branson west. Wife had the prime rib which was dressed with horseradish sauce and chimichurri. Prime rib was cooked perfectly but with the sauce drizzle it was over the top delicious! The mussel appetizer with cilantro wine broth was amazing too. The beet salad is awesome and there are lots of appetizers to choose from (which was our 3rd visit as we grazed on apps). This will be our regular spot every time at the lake. Bartender Gemma has an amazing memory for names and drinks. Second time I walked in she said hi tony and remembered my name. She even recalled exactly what we ordered last time. Danielle and manager Michelle are all very friendly and provide excellent service. What a wonderful area Gem!! We stopped for a beverage and ended up having a lovely pulled pork flat bread! Our server was sweet, funny and very knowledgeable ! What a great experience! They're relatively new on the Branson scene and what a great addition. Everything here is made from scratch. We had the Cacio E Pepe and the Seasonal Salad along with a wine flight. We came for our anniversary and they also surprised us with a complimentary cheesecake. One of the best food experiences we've had in Branson and with excellent service by Danielle. There are exceptions, but the majority of the restaurants in Branson aren't known for the quality of their food. Thankfully, this place was fantastic. Worth the drive for sure. read more
