Me and my buddy decided to visit Branson for a movie and we decided to stop in at a random place to eat. We decided on Crazy Craig's treehouse, one that looked like cozy simple affordable food. Upon walking into the establishment, we discovered that the parking lot is a tight entry with the infamous Branson hills. The exterior was appealing and cool to look at yet the interior was cramped and barely any room to sit. They did have a nice area to sit upstairs though the pool table upstairs didn't contain the ball rack and the table was incredibly dirty/unmaintained. Moving onto the service. We were told to sit anywhere and someone would come and check on us, it was several minutes before someone came to check what we wanted with little to no business going on. However they were nice so that was a nice plus. The pricing for this place is a little overpriced for the simple food menu they have. We paid 10 dollars for chips and queso and the serving size that was on the platter was barely enough to feed us both. Our main entrees were easily 15 dollars a plate and not to mention that it took quite a lot of time for everything to come out. The overall taste of the food/drinks were very disappointing. My Dr Pepper was extremely flat no matter a refill or not, the chips were stale, and the queso tasted like fake cheese (only cheese I can compare it to is lunchables). My chicken sandwich I ordered was incredibly subpar: especially since when I pay 15 dollars for a sandwich I want a patty and not two chicken tenders plastered on a bun. Especially the pepper jack cheese on my tender sandwich had absolutely no spice which made me believe it was fake cheese as well. Even the pepper from the shaker only had a hint of the taste of pepper. The worst experience in this first and last visit was the fact that the pepper sauce (hot sauce) was all expired. Our tables sauce had expired on July 2025! I checked other tables and only one of the tables had a September 2027 date the rest had May 2025. So I didn't use any condiments on my food which overall ruined my meal. The only truly good food product I had was the French fries so if you go here just order the fries from the appetizer section and seeing how they are a bar as well: drink while you're here because you will need it to get through main entrees. The fries have a unique seasoning that simply makes them delicious all by myself. The portion size is definitely worth the price. No kids menu, which is disappointing. Got the hummus, which would be better without the olive tapenade and added grilled chicken on the side of it - just OK would not get again. Only had about five bites, not sure how you can screw up hummus. This is a cute bar & grill that appears to be frequented by both locals and Branson tourists. The Toucan mascot and origin story are featured in the front of the menu. Cute & funny/kitchy. Everyone is greeted with a complementary taste of their signature cocktail, which I think was called the treehouse punch. It was a very nice touch and really set the tone! We were there during happy hour and enjoyed a gigantic serving of loaded nachos for only $7.50 - half off! I ordered the Cubano sandwich with a side salad and it was also a very large portion. I took half of the sandwich home for the next day. I would definitely order this again! My mom ordered the carrot cake for her lunch and was served a piece big enough for three people. LOL! This is a fantastic place to stop on the Branson strip (76) for lunch, happy hour or evening beer & cocktails. It's like a neighborhood bar meets Margaritaville! There are many TVs, lots of seating and room at the bar, and also an upstairs with a pool table. We didn't go upstairs so I'm not sure what else is up there, but we will definitely be back. You first walk in and our greeted and get served a sample of their signature cocktail. We thought oh this will be fun. It's a cool looking place. Our order is taken... A group of 8 came in and their drink order came before us. Then our food came. No one came by to ask how it's food was. (We did ask them to give extra plate and our server split it which was nice). We had 1 young guy walk by us twice and a nother female server walk by and we had empty plates and no one took them. Finally asked to talk to manager and he was combative and not apologetic. The group of eight waited over 30 minutes for their food and decided to leave. The young man server came outside and said "you are ride and hope you never come back". Next for me was a Turkey paninni with Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac & cheese was my favorite. The Turkey was on the lighter side, which I was looking for at that time of night. The husband got the steak burger, which he really enjoyed. The garlic parmesan fries is definitely the way to go! Very good flavor and the fries are cooked well. What a fun place to grab a bite and an adult beverage. Kids are welcome. Although it's a building with free parking inside you feel that you are in a tree house. It has 2 stories, but we didn't venture upstairs. Outdoor seating options as well. We went around 8:30pm on a Monday night. Mashed chickpeas topped with olive tapenade and roasted tomatoes and served with crispy naan bread. Delicious and you don't see naan on a menu very often. Highly recommend. Entrees were the Italian Beef and Rueben's Revenge. I love Italian Beef and don't run into it often enough. This wasn't your Chicago Italian Beef, but it was good in this case. I do wish the beef had been a bit more tender and I should have ordered a side of giardiniera. Cole slaw was my side of choice. It was good. The Rueben Revenge was my partner's choice and he enjoyed it; said he would probably order it again. He also had a side of slaw. So, so many specialty cocktails to choose from, but we had beer. We had a horrible experience here. We wanted to go somehwere fun for my daughters bachelorette party. Looked like a fun enviroment but man wish we would have went somewhere else. We do not drink alcohol, but they wanted to take my credit card before we even ordered food I guess because they had the bar there. We ordered wings for appetizer and ordered food. They just kept saying "wings are coming". It took them 40-45 min to finally bring out the wings with our food. So much for an appetizer. Then my daughters food was forgotten and she had to wait at least 10 more min to get it and it was made wrong. She just ate it wrong because we were almost done with our food. They said they would discount it. When I got the bill, an UNITEMIZED bill, it was too high so I asked for itemized one. We were charged for a rum, $4 for ranch when it was for a salad and our wings and then she only gave us $4 off for the late made wrong sandwhich. They argued with me about the ranch saying it does not come with the wings even though the menu says what sauce. They were so rude about our long wait, being charged for items we didnt buy and wrong sandwhich. The waitress apologized, but the lady in charge finally gave us the sandwhich free, rightly so but then yanked the receipt out of my hand and said "fine I will take a $1 off for one of the ranch. When I complained how slow the food took, table next to us was with another manager because of how long it was taking so they were refusing to wait any longer and were leaving, she says a lot of people are experiencing slow food. Without any family gatherings or invitations to attend, my husband and I contacted our travel agent to assist us in making arrangements for the Thanksgiving holiday. We ultimately selected Branson, Missouri, as our destination. Our initial visit in Branson was to this establishment for a sandwich and quesadilla prior to checking into our hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who displayed genuine kindness. A staff member, Kim extended an invitation to join them for Thanksgiving dinner, which we graciously accepted. The following day, we encountered Crazy Craig, Santa, other guests and staff members. Although our stay was brief due to the lengthy drive back to Texas, we did enjoy ourselves. We found the food & ambiance to be satisfactory. I was particularly fond of 'YO-YO Granny,' whose authenticity and warm demeanor created a cozy atmosphere.
