Great service. A ton of seats and parking. Old style restaurant with homey feel and decor. Lots of photos of police officers environment and other heroes. I had Grandma's catfish and my partner had the professors fish. Mine was lightly dusted and fried to perfection. The coleslaw was the surprise as It tastes like it has some type of seafood in it. The Mac & cheese tasted baked instead of just creamy wet. And we both ate with the side salad and soda for $50. Good prices good food and nicely located in a touristy area with lots to do and see within walking distance.

    House margarita was great!

The food and margaritas are very good! Will definitely stop back by when we come back to Branson.

Strawberry salad with very good ranch dressing (instead of the vinaigrette)

Yelp reviews were just okay, but the only reason we chose this restaurant was because it was right across from the theater we had tickets for. Service wasn't terrible, the food wasn't terrible and the dining room wasn't terrible. But, nothing really stood out. I'm not sure how management is supposed to contend with the roller coaster of traffic (the inevitable deluges), given there must be a lot of other patrons with the same strategy for dinner that we had. We definitely arrived in the middle of high traffic, so patience was necessary. I ordered the strawberry salad with shrimp, which was pretty good. I liked the ranch dressing a lot (instead of the vinaigrette that is standard). Staff really tried, no doubt. I'm not sure if we would return, but we probably would at a time that wasn't so busy.

One of my favorite sandwiches is a Reuben sandwich. My Hero's Reuben was delicious. My wife had fried cod fish. She liked hers. Service was great.

Husband & I were there for the 1st time yesterday. Service & food were spot on! We will definitely be stopping in next time we are in town. Very veteran friendly!

We got the 5-Alarm Ozark Hot, and subbed the fries for a "poutini ". Amazing flavors and the waffles were a great touch!

We stopped by Heroes an hour before they closed and they were great. The way they give tribute to Military and Public Service workers is really admirable and makes for really great and humbling ambiance. Dereck was our server and he was really friendly. The food was really delicious and had great portion sizes. We will definitely be back for another visit when we are in the area again!! We highly recommend stopping by to try out their amazing food.

Friendly. Good food. Ambiance was quiet and felt like we were eating dinner at the firehouse. Would recommend to get food and drinks.

The staff are students working to pay for their tuition. It is a large elegant building with plenty of room for groups, but at times there is a wait. We had the chicken fried chicken and the meatloaf entrees. Both were served with green beans and mashed potatoes. They offer complimentary bread with three types of butter. We really enjoyed the apple butter! And dessert is not to be missed. We had the apple pie, and it was delicious, and more than enough for the two of us. You can peruse the shop before or after your meal to see some of the student made products.

The dining hall is beautifully adorned with cabin-esque motif and overlooks the campus and mountains. The menu has a great variety and notes items that are made by the students (e.g. butters and cakes). Their complimentary, fresh made bread basket with three types of butters was a fantastic start to the meal. We ordered the mushroom soup, the pork belly sandwich w/ fries, and the shrimp and grits. I will say that the pork belly po' boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! I almost stayed in town longer on the second day just to order it again. The pork belly was smoky, tender, and sweet and paired so well with the grain mustard, pickled onions and arugula -- superb balance of flavors. My husband also noted the shrimp and grits was some of the best he's ever had. The shrimp and pork belly in the dish were perfectly cooked and the Cajun spices were well balanced. And we have to tell you to try their fresh desserts. The brown butter chocolate cake was a special ending to the meal. This is an excellent stop and our student server provided excellent service - they're doing a great job there and is a highly recommended of ours during your stop during your visit to Branson.
