OH MY GOODNESS the BBQ was falling off the bone here and the sauce...? Absolutely delicious! Lots of choices too. Big menu. The Mac n Cheese was super yummy. Hubby and I shared the ribs and chicken plate. It was plenty! And Betty, our server was very gracious. Be good to Betty. She's working hard at everything! We enjoyed the bbq very much.

Moink burger with veggies and sweet potato waffle fries

Enjoyed dinner here after a busy day of hiking. The restaurant was crowded but I was able to sit immediately at the bar. The bartender was busy but very pleasant and attentive. The food really hit the spot. I got the moink with a side of veggies and I subbed sweet potato waffle fries for regular fries which was a good move. Everything was delicious and it wasn't slathered in BBQ sauce although you could if you wanted. The pulled pork was tender and not fatty. The veggies were over seasoned for me and nothing special but overall the meal hit the spot and I would go back!

We are from Indiana and we travel to Branson for our anniversary every year. We make a point to try new restaurants during our visit. Hands Down this place Topped the chart. My husband got the Porker and I had the Burnt end burger , the absolute BEST BBQ we have ever tasted. So when you visit Branson stop by Gettin' Basted. I promise ,YOU will not be disappointed. April was our server and she knew how to sell the menu she was super. Oh and let's not forget dessert. The Cobbler of the day was Blackberry cobbler with a shareable scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was lip smackin' y'all. The place was decorated with awards displaying the love for Bbq. We will be back.

Was blown away just walking in. There were awards all over the walls. It was Friday night but only had to wait about 10 minutes, which was a surprise. Our waiter (Joshua) was exceptional in helping us decide what would best satisfy our desires. As a table we had ribs, burnt ends, and a waygu burger. The burger was excellent, but the generous portion of burnt ends was the winner. They were moist and tender, but not fattty. They had just a little texture to them with just enough sauce to taste like meat candy. The ribs were very tasty but on the dry side (could have been because it was later at night). There was only one sauce on the table which means they don't really expect you to mess with what's been served very much. It was slightly sweet and smokey (ok, I did taste it) but none of us used it at all. All the sides were very tasty, expecially yhr corn brulee and sweet potatoe casserole. Despite the ribs (which I'll give another chance), we'll definitely be back.

The blackout sandwich and 1/2 lb lean brisket

Absolutely phenomenal!!! Compared this place to Famous Dave's and it blows it out of the water. Only thing im missing here is the cornbread muffins!!! Service was very tentative and helpful. Ordered the blackout sandwich and 1/2 lb of lean brisket aswell as a side of Mac n cheese. Everything was very very good. Only thing I had a little bit of an issue with was the sausage was barely luke warm. I dont know if this is normal or not bc it was still good but I would have preferred it be hot! Building was a nice size and pretty clean. The bathrooms need better taken care of tho.

Found this place on Yelp when we were visiting Branson, Missouri. Amazing. We ordered a little bit of everything. The corn was my favorite. The bologna was really good, better than expected! Our service was awesome; she helped us pick what to get. Big tables; nothing too fancy. Great for large groups, family or a date night!

Although highly recommended by 2 local patrons, our recent dinner visit to Gettin' Basted was not terrible, but also not memorable! This BBQ spot decor was very much a flex as it showcased their awards, trophies and accolades all over the walls and ceiling. The place looked pretty well kept but it had an average BBQ joint feel. We rolled in around 7 PM famished from a day under the sun and having skipped lunch after a late breakfast at 11. My son and I shared the ribs and chicken plate along with a side of smoked ham, pairing it with mac and cheese, baked beans, and cream corn brûlée. I'd rate the food a mediocre 2.5 stars, and here's why: everything arrived in record time but tepid--seriously, who serves BBQ lukewarm? I know BBQ can't be cooked to order, but there's got to be a way to keep it hot. Some places manage just fine! The ribs and chicken were decent enough--tender and seasoned well enough to be palatable. The smoked ham leaned a bit salty but still packed a nice punch. The mac and cheese? Let's just say it was very much giving Kraft from a box! And while the baked beans had potential with a variety of beans, the tomato flavor was way too dominant! The cream corn would've likely been a hit if it had been served hot, but alas, it was not to be. As for the sweet tea? It was weak to the point of being laughable--like sipping on tea that had soaked in ice for hours. On the bright side, the service was quick and friendly. Our server, Crystal, was attentive, hustling between multiple tables. She even offered to replace my food after I mentioned its temperature. I appreciated the offer, but my stomach told me to decline since I was too hungry to wait any longer. Despite her warmth and the swift service, the uninspired food soured the experience a bit. But overall, thanks to our lovely server and the speed at which we were served, I'd bump my score from a 2.5 to a respectable 3.5!

Best BBQ I have found in Branson. The wonton nachos with pulled pork were fire. The burnt ends tender and full of flavor. Loved the big hot cheese! Amazing service and a cool spot for your visit to the Ozarks.

Second visit was as wonderful as the first. Had the Judges plate and expanded my horizons. Must try.

Porker sandwich with potato salad and wings

One of the better options in the Branson food scene. The Porker sandwich was huge and easily shareable with an order of wings.

We had Gettin' Basted catered for our family trip of 45 people. Everything was beautifully packaged and the food was 10/10. It's hard to please everyone when you have so many people but everyone raved about how good the food was! We will definitely frequent Gettin' Basted when we visit Branson again!

The place to go for the best bbq globally!

Best bbq brisket and chicken we ever had and we are from Texas! Also the mac n cheese and fried okra were top notch. Give this place a try because it will become your favorite place to go for great food, great service and great ambiance! Nothing to compare it too around. By far the best bbq ever!

We were told this was the best barbecue joint in Branson, Missouri. Honestly, I thought this rated three stars but my wife said they were better than that. Definitely not five star barbecue joint. Please don't get me wrong. The barbecue here is respectable. Lots of award winning BBQ. If you follow me, you'll notice that I eat a lot of different barbecue and a lot of different barbecue joints. Gettin Basted was mediocre to good. Maybe it's good for Missouri, but in Texas.... The service was good. Our waiter was a very energetic guy from the Ukraine, he was good The restaurant was a typical barbecue joint. Nothing really special, or bad here. If you're looking for some decent barbecue, this is not a bad place

Disappointed there's only 5 stars here…read more Having been a local for a few years now, and hearing wonderful things about this place, we finally went. All the wasted time!!!! This small unassuming building is easy to pass by. Ya know those cartoons when a scent wafting through the air grabs a dog's nose and leads him to a meal? Yeah, that's kinda the vibe here. You order at the counter, pay (slightly pricey, but generous portions), and soon a huge platter is set before you. I ordered a Two Meat Plate with ribs, brisket, corn casserole and pit beans. Ribs: Tender, lovely smoke ring, quite meaty. I don't have the vocabulary to describe the rub, but I liked it. A lot. Nice crust on the exterior. Brisket: So many choices! Lean/fatty (or just maybe the counter guy said, "Lean, Fatty!"), sliced/chopped, prime/choice. Also good crust, smoke line, juiciness. But something was off. See below for further. Sauce: Not nearly as spicy as I like, and a bit bland when tasting off of my finger. However, when applied to the brisket, something magical happened. The best sauce/meat pairing EVER!!!!! My much better half has chicken and pulled pork. Don't know how hers was. Didn't care. Didn't ask. But she ate and didn't yap , so I'm happy. If she sees this, I'm effed. Dessert: Home made Key Lime Pie. Kermit's in Key West, FL LOOK OUT!!!!!! A magnificent meal.

The best ribs and brisket I have ever had. The service was fantastic too. Can't wait to go back and…read moreeat in the back deck
