This is the second time I've gone here. First time, our group got a large order of chicken strips. They were steaming hot big thick strips of chicken with a little breading. We each got 4 strips, and I was barely able to eat two. There are a lot of sauces to choose from. I got the classic ranch, and garlic Parmesan. Both delicious. This second time around I tried the poutine and the Ozark Street corn. Absolutely delicious. I am craving both the poutine and street corn again right now. The fries on the poutine had a nice mix of soft and crispy. For dessert I got the apple cobbler. It was nice and warm, sweet but not overly sweeet with a scoop of vanilla. We stopped in for lunch because they have patio seating and we had our dog with us. We both ordered the fried chicken, my wife the 2 piece white and I had the dark. Sides were side salad, mashed potatoes and gravy and Ozark street corn. The chicken was very good. Crispy skin. Tender juicy meat. Cooked perfectly. I would have preferred white gravy on the mashed potatoes but they were still very good and the portion was large. My wife enjoyed the side salad but I would probably order something other than the Ozark street corn. It was good. Just not what I enjoy. Overall this is probably the best place in Branson we've found if you want a fried chicken dinner. read more

This restaurant was the highlight of all the restaurants we visited while in Branson. It came highly recommend by a few families on our softball team after their visit. You order at the counter but the team member that assisted us was friendly and offered great suggestions when we were undecided. Two of my daughters ordered the 2 piece dark with sides and Texas toast. My other daughter and I ordered the 2 piece dark Sarah style which was drizzled with hot honey. I think everyone agreed that it was the best fried chicken we've ever had. It was seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside, but moist inside. The hot honey drizzle on the Sarah style was more sweet than heat but the seasoning on the chicken was so on point, that it paired very well. Honestly I would order it regular or the hot honey on the side. They also give you a side of regular ranch and bbq ranch. Though it took a bit a time for the meal to come, it was well with the wait and expected for fresh fried chicken. It came to us steaming hot which I prefer. For sides we had fried okra, garlic parmesan corn on the cob, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and fries. The Texas toast was very good as well. My husband had the 5 piece lemon pepper wings with a side of buffalo sauce with macaroni and cheese and fried okra. He said his was really good as well and he thought that mac and cheese was good as well. We are super sad they don't have one of these at home, lol. We had done LOTS of restaurant research...and this place was highly recommended. We craved wings and "sides", so we drove here. Like MANY eating establishments in Branson, the prices are outrageous!!!!!!!!!! After we ordered a chicken sandwich with a side, two orders of wings and sides and possibly a couple of sauces...our bill was almost $80.00!!!!!! We took our gold plated chicken meals to our hotel and found our fries were cold. While the service and positive vibes are noted, we can't recommend this place due to its cost and inconsistency or our meals. read more

In town for the day and decided to try Side Chick before heading to Steal Your Dollar City! I got the three piece tenders with fries and Jack Sauce. The friendly lady behind the counter said it was her favorite with just a little kick. We will start with the chicken tenders. They were good sized buttered well but not too thick and fried to a nice crispy finish. Lightly seasoned which is better than most but could still use some more seasoning. The Jack sauce was great with a nice sweetness at first then kicks you in the back of the throat with the heat. It's not the kind of heat that burns your lips or tongue no it's the kind that gets in the back of the throat and down to your stomach. But dang it was so good I couldn't stop even though I was sweating real good. My wife got the wings and those were a combo of flats and drummettes. She had them sauces in Buffalo and those things were bigger than you get at wing stop off BWW. She said the sauce was really good and the fries extra crispy. This place is a great place to eat outdoors and watch others hang out at the park across from this place. We loved the outdoor seating, especially in the evening. All of the food was tasty and they bring it straight to you. The staff was also super friendly! Our favorite thing about this place is a cat that hangs out on the outdoor patio. not sure if people are supposed to be feeding it but all the kids were giving it chicken so i assume the cat stays around there! read more

Stopped for dinner tonight. First time. Husband had read several good reviews so we decided to try it. It is a walk up counter to order. We ordered chicken tenders with a sauce that was to be like Cane's sauce and the tyeraki chicken sandwich. When paying, the screen is elaboratly spin around, asking for a tip. Starting at 15% and topping out at 30%. You are given cups to full and sit where ever. . We were also given a buzzer to get our food when called. My husband orders a side salad with the sandwich that he says was really good. The dressing was great as well. It was an Italian. My sauce was very sour tasting as in spoiled milk. The fries would have been great if they were hot bit they came médiocre warm. The sandwich was tough. The chicken was stringy. As for the ambiance, the place does need a deep cleaning and freshening. Side Chick was recommend when we tried a sister restaurant, Getting Basted. The chicken itself was fresh but the preparation and cooking left it dry and underwhelming. Also, the restaurant was dirty and the tea dispensers were empty. It was about 2pm, and after the lunch rush, but all the more reason to keep the place clean. Everything is fully self serve including a plastic fork dispenser. Please!! For the cost of the meal there should have been a tad bit of service. The staff was hurried and it seemed like a chore for them to take our order. Too bad really, because the food was close to being good. Taking a hunger break from our fun at Track 4, we walked into Side Chick for some chicken. The line was long and the menu was even more extensive than what we had seen on Yelp minutes prior. The climate was relaxing and enjoyable As we approached the very friendly cashier, we were able to easily order the meals for our family with items that each one of us would enjoy. We ordered (1) chicken only dark rotisserie, (1) chicken only dark fried, (1) poutine, (1)small dark fried meal with mac N Cheese & fries, (1) small dark fried meal with mac n cheese & sweet potato casserole, and (1) fried chicken sandwich kids meal. We were informed that it would take about 20 minutes since they fry the chicken when it is ordered so it is fresh and hot. When our food was served, the woman who brought us our food informed us that when the cook was plating the rotisserie chicken the leg broke off and fell to the ground. The large thigh and wing were still provided along with 2 pieces of fried chicken as an apology. Since our daughter whom this meal was for cannot eat anything battered, the woman quickly let her know that we could keep the fried chicken and that she would go and have grilled tenders made for our daughter. We appreciated the prompt and flexible service. The employee was wonderful!! The fried chicken was crispy and delicious and HOT!! I swear the chicken stayed hot and steaming for 20 minutes or longer. It was amazing and so yummy!! The poutine was phenomenal. My husband and I enjoyed it greatly. The fries were very crispy. The gravy had garlic in it which made it stellar. The cheese curds were creamy and melted nicely as they sat in the hot fries and gravy. I enjoyed the sweet potato casserole. It had pecans, brown sugar, and butter melted delightfully on top of the mashed sweet potato. Mmmm mmmm good. The only disappointment we experienced was with the mac n cheese. Which the servings were large, the food itself was the worst any of us have had. It was curdled and tasted sour. We threw both of our orders of it in the trash. When we arrived the place was very busy. We waited in line for about 5 minutes before stepping up to give our orders. Our cashier was friendly but the lady running the register next to ours didn't seem to be (a few teens asked for her recommendation on sauces and she no response for them. It was awkward). We ended up exploring the entire indoor and outdoor seating areas - choosing where to sit - outdoors upstairs was a little too breezy - outdoors downstairs was trashed - so we ended up in the indoor area off to the side of the registers. Food came out in less than 15 minutes. My teriyaki chicken sandwich was delicious!! I also got a side of street corn and it was a little spicy for this white girl. It was really good and I ate the whole thing...just my lips were burning when I got done. . Found this new chicken place that we wanted to try. They are new and have only been open since April 2024. While the food we had was amazing, there is room for improvement. No soap in women's restroom even after notifying employees, our food was ready after others at our table was half finished with their meal. The ordering area was a bit of a mess with people standing in close proximity to table in that same area. While that can all be worked out this will be a great additional to the area. A great location as well. Just to mention, the chicken tenders were huge and could have easily shared a 6 piece tender meal. Will give it another try on another visit. read more

This a boisterous and loud family friendly chicken place. That said, I wish we had one where we live as the food was pretty good.
