The lady at the front register was so sweet. There are plenty of places to sit outside and eat, which we needed having our dogs with us. The smash burger was incredible, it was exactly what I needed. There's not much to choose from in this area. We stopped and picked up a pizza to take back to our rental property in Garfield, AR. We had someone back at base camp preheat the oven to 400F so we could warm up the pizza when we got back. I'm happy the oven was ready to go when we returned with the pizza as the crust was soft and doughy and nowhere as done as I think a pizza should be. I remember how quickly the pizza was handed to me and I thought it was strange out fast it cooked. The flavor of the pizza was good but it definitely needed more time in the oven. I got peach soft serve ice cream to go and people I gave them to, could not decide what flavor it was. None of them guessed peach. I ordered an espresso milk shake. It was lacking enough espresso in it. It was more creamy, sugary vanilla ice cream than a coffee tasting shake. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered chocolate and vanilla twist cones for all of us instead of trying to go outside the box. Sometimes you should mess with classics. Young, cheery staff & the place was cute & clean, but I ordered & PAID for a 1/3 lb cheeseburger w/ onion rings & got a VERY small meat patty on my burger (invisible beneath the not-huge bun), with the palest, floppiest French fries - not onion rings - I have ever seen. Besides being being cheated out of my onion ring upgrade, the fries were so undercooked they were inedible. Good thing I didn't need the ketchup (& mustard, salt, pepper etc) that they did NOT put in my carry-out bag, haha. 'The Hop' is remotely located & basically the only restaurant in 15 miles, but I'd check out the groceries at the local Dollar General before paying $12 for FAR less than what you can get at Sonic for $8. Whenever we are in Branson we have tried to arrange things so we get to eat here. We have done so 4 or 5 times and the hamburgers are fabulous! But what is even more important is the service. On one occasion staff brought water bowls out for my dogs. They always come out to the patio to check on us (we enjoy the patio due to the scenic setting). I've eaten here twice. Both times I've found the entire place to be VERY CLEAN. That earns them an extra star. The burgers are good, not outstanding, but good. The soft serve ice cream comes out with a liquid flavoring that needs to be stirred in before eating. It's unusual but I think it allows them to have a wider variety of flavors to offer. Went in to grab some dinner while out in our RV. Got a pizza and some ice cream for my granddaughter. We really like thin crust pizza, so we were looking forward to trying them out. Being out practically in the middle of no where, you never know what you are going to get, but we really enjoyed this place! The pizza may not have been the worlds best gourmet pizza, but we loved the crisp, thin crust and the toppings were plentiful. Flavor was pretty decent too! My granddaughter said her ice cream was really good as well. The two ladies who were working were very friendly. Bathroom was amazingly clean! I remember when they were building this place and how excited I was for it. When they first opened, they didn't have a whole lot. Just pizza, Stromboli, and some frozen treats. Their big selling item was the pineapple dole whip (it is kind of like frozen yogurt). Ever since they've opened people have loved going there. Their menu has really expanded from just pizza and Stromboli to sandwiches, chicken wings, and soups. They keep getting TONS of different whip flavors. I don't even know all the different kinds they've had. Pineapple, strawberry, mango, vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin, orange... It's awesome! The best thing about this place is how cheap the prices are. I keep going back here because it's one of the few places that I can stop at after school and pay with cash. I don't know how it works but you know exactly what you will pay. They don't charge taxes or they figure them into the price beforehand? It's weird, but very convenient. Everyone is really friendly and there's always music playing. I definitely recommend checking it out and getting a whip and pizza. I love this place so much and hope you do too. Update (July 10, 2018) The frozen lemonade was not great. I've had it before and I really liked it, but for some reason it was awful today. It was sour and tasted old. I still loved the food though. read more

When you are at the lakes and need a break from cooking, the Oasis is just the ticket. The pizza is terrific. Good crunchy thin crust and generous toppings make it special. I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was surprisingly good. Being in a very rural area, it's hard to have the means to do cooking from scratch, but what they do is solid and delicious. The food is served hot, the staff is friendly, and they have live music in the summer quite a bit. For desert, they have a great selection of frozen "whips". Everyone raves over the pineapple whip, but they have about 10 flavors. If you want good Stromboli's, sandwiches, pizza, and a nice cold desert, find the Oasis; it's worth the trip! read more

While RV'ing in the area we decided to stop here for lunch on two occasions. We've enjoyed the medium sized hamburgers, the smoked brisket and the Philly Cheesesteak. All of our choices were delicious and served hot. The fries have a flakey crisp to them. You don't get a lot of fries with your order, but the sandwiches are big and filling. It's unusual to find such a gem in a rural area. I really like the fact the owner is present and so friendly, walking around making sure everyone is enjoying their meal. Such a great place! read more
