Arriving to our resort close to dinner time, I started browsing for some local pizza places I could order from. Ozark Mountain Pizza came up as an option not far from where we were staying so I decided to try it. I ordered online the first time (yes we ordered multiple times). It took no time for our order to be ready and it was waiting when I picked it up. I couldn't wait to get home to try the garlic knots so I popped one in my mouth in the car. Divine! It was garlicky, pillowy, and delicious! When I got back to the resort (less a couple garlic knots), we popped open the pizza box and the salad. When I say that I have never seen such fresh lettuce in my life, I am not kidding. It was green and not full of big old chunks of lettuce ribs. It was PERFECT! The pizza was also perfect. Crust pillowy like the garlic knots. Perfect amount of greasy deliciousness. The SECOND time was a few days later when we called and ordered delivery. Same order as before with different toppings on the pizza. Our order taker was very pleasant despite us debating back and forth amongst ourselves the 10:30pm delivery time (it was 9:00pm at the time) and figuring out toppings. It is a true testament that we ordered despite the late arrival time. The delivery driver was super nice and had no problems finding us in our complex. We met a delivery driver for this restaurant in our hotel lobby. He was friendly and helpful, answering our questions and selling his pizza to us - so much so that we turned around and created an account and placed and online order for delivery to our hotel! The service was easy to use online with a 20% off coupon offered for the 2nd order online! They offer family specials and we took advantage of the 2 large pizzas for $32 - plus added some sides and a couple of two liters (sold cold) with cups requested for us to share our drinks once the pizza and drinks arrive! Thanks for the easy ordering process and great food! Might K add that the delivery driver was lit together and. Or sloppy or skinny. It is a very popular place on a Friday. It was about a twenty-minute wait and they give you a pager to be seated. The server was attentive even with a table of fourteen also in their section. With the capacity crowd in the dining room, it was a bit loud but not so much that communication was a problem. The pizza is very good but could have been cut better. Great experience!! My biggest challenge when we first walked in was the lack of us being greeted at the host station. There were several people that observed us when we arrived to be seated, and no one really acknowledged our presence. The sign said please wait to be seated. After a couple of minutes we grabbed the attention of one of the front counter workers, and things started to move forward. Once we were seated Tina showed and made our visit magical. She was thoughtful, attentive, and friendly. She got our drink and appetizer order, and then delivered it to us promptly. She explained the specials which we thought met or needs. We customized our order without a hitch, and it was delivered to us in a timely manner. Our food was phenomenal and we really enjoyed it. My grandkids were full and well fed. Tina was great and made our experience memorable. The pricing is very reasonable, and the food quality exceeded my expectations. Easy peasy and delicious! Two pizzas with toppings to the edges fed 10 of us and was able to please from age 7 to 66. We called in the order and it was the nay a 45 minute wait, well worth it. Simply amazing! Honestly this was one of the best pizzas i've had as of late. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a day later because we could not stop thinking about how good it was! Between the 2 visits we got a thin crust cheese pizza, a hand tossed meat lovers, a hand tossed bacon and pepperoni, and cheese bread both times. One was a pick-up order the other was sit down. While visiting Branson this last week, we decided to try Ozark Mountain Pizza. It truly is a little bitty bar /Pizza/ game room about 4 miles outside of Branson. Which kind of puts it out in the boondocks. The waitress was good, fairly quick and attentive. She was more than pleasant and willing to take care of her customers. The pizza came out fairly quickly, it was steaming hot, and very good We ordered the extra large meat lovers pizza. It might've could've used a little bit more portion wise, but it was absolutely tasty and good. I kind of have a problem with sausage that has a strong anise flavor (that's the licorice flavor) but honestly, that is a personal preference some people love it I will say that OMP has this business practice that I hate. They have a 3% up charge if you use a credit card. I know that a lot of people are doing it, but it is a cost of doing business. It would be like them adding $20 an hour for the cook in the back. It's their cost of business. I should not have to pay extra because they have a business expense I make it a personal policy, and I know it's not that big an issue. But it is one of those principles. I have been coming to OMP since I started coming out for work in April 2025. I came every work trip at least once! I moved here in August and this is the spot I must take everyone who visits me. It's often busy, but that means the food is worth it! My favorite pizza is the Ozark Mountain Spinach. I normally cannot stand cooked spinach, but my boss said I had to try it, so I did. My life is forever changed. It is incredible. Melts-in-your-mouth / one-is-not-enough status, people. So. Good. Madison is my server almost every time. She is attentive, gentle, friendly, and so helpful. I thought I was struggling with a food allergy this summer and she got the recipe book out to check ingredients and find something that I could eat. I was blown away by such consideration! John is always so helpful with my to-go orders and has great phone etiquette. Shawnee was also awesome. She is apparently not a manager but she carries herself like she could be! Worth the wait! The Philly cheesesteak pizza and cheese bread with a twist (buffalo sauce and house made ranch) recommended by the host was delicious! The cocktails were also very good! Yesterday evening we arrived and were immediately greeted by staff. They were friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening. The space was decorated very creatively and even had slot machines! We eat here twice a year and always fantastic. This time we had sandwiches. Husband had Italian and I had turkey and cheese. Both were great. Salad was fresh with a nice variety of veggies (better than just a bag of lettuce like some places). Well we have been traveling to Branson, MO for fall vacations for years. We started eating Ozark Mountain Pizza some years ago. We like the supreme with thin crust. We have had pizza throughout the US and Ozark Mountain pizza is at the top. We have eaten in the restaurant but mostly "take out". When I stumbled upon this little gem, I think I found the worst kept secret in the Ozarks! I mean, this place was packed! I inquired about how long it would be for a pizza to go and the gal behind the register let me know it would be close to an hour. Given my hunger level, I thanked her and started to turn for the exit when another lady chimed in and said she would verify that with the kitchen. When she returned she stated they were down to normal wait times so it would be 20 minutes. That was much better so I placed my order (XL pepperoni on their hand tossed crust) then bellied up to the bar and had a beer while I waited. They offered a full bar with a limited number of beers on tap. The tender was on her game and was taking my order almost as soon as my fat ass hit the barstool. It looked like she was covering the bar area and all the tables within so she didn't have much time for small talk. She did, however, find the time to bring out my pizza once it was done. Their pizza was really quite good, even though I prefer a puffier, crustier crust. The cheese was really tasty and the pepperoni were greasy, (what pepperoni isn't) but yummy. So, if you find yourself in the greater Branson area, do yourself a solid and get out of town and search out this pizza joint. Just remember to call in your order ahead of time! read more
